I have booked to visit here in May, due to the excellent feedback that these apartments received, however, it is disappointing that this site seems to have become a soap box for a personal disagreement.
I've no interest in what went on, and frankly I don't care. If you want to continue your disagreement, then please do it away from this site, as comments like this will only serve to harm the Clear Horizon and prevent others from possibly booking. This site is for sharing holiday feedback, not airing personal disagreements.
As an aside, my dealings with Andreas when booking my holday have been exemplary, and hopefully I will be able to say the same when I return after a brilliant holiday.
Just returned from our first stay at the Clear Horizon and cannot praise enough the fantastic hospitality we received. The view from the apartments is stunning and Amoudi itself is beautiful. Thank you so much to Andreas for making us feel like part of his family and for all the lifts around the island, to Denise for her breakfasts and Diana for her wonderful home cooking. You gave us a holiday to remember.
To anyone thinking of visiting, go, you wont be disappointed and will want to keep this little piece of Zante heaven a secret! We will definitely return.
Hello to Myron and Margaret, Steve, Jan and the three cheeky monkeys (Jessica, Sophia and Emma!) It was great to meet you all.
An absolutely beautiful, peaceful 'get away from it all' place to stay. Amoudi is tiny with a couple of small hotels but mainly apartments in which to stay, a handful of restaurants/tavernas and a couple of supermarkets. We stayed at the Clear Horizon Apartments (which has its own restaurant, bar and pool) and had a truly wonderful holiday.
Amoudi is very tranquil with quiet beaches, stunning views and is surrounded by olive groves, lemon trees and local homes so you feel part of a real Greek village rather than a tourist resort.
The nightlife was excellent as there isn't any! If you are after a quiet meal and good company then Amoudi is for you, the hospitailty we experienced was second to none. The resort of Alykanes is, however, only about a 20 min walk away for a good selection of shops and restaurants whilst still retaining a nice atmosphere.
Amoudi really is a place you want to keep a secret but if you like the sound of it, go, you will love it.
Fantastic day out! Fun way to visit some great locations and see fab views all over the island, particularly from the off road stops. Paul's historical facts keep you entertained throughout the day but are they true?!!
Had a great time despite the morning rain, BIG thanks to Lee for his excellent 'eyes off the road' driving skills and the choccy biscuits!
Silly hat day thanks to our jeep, keep wearing yours Lee - we've got a nice photo for the web site to prove it!
