Hello! Can anyone post a picture of the interior of the 2 bed apartment? Have been in touch with Andreas & am looking to book at Clear Horizon. Just would like to see inside. Please help if you can. Thanks

Well...where do we start? We chose this place on the positive feedback on this site and we weren't disappointed. Andreas and his family truly do make you feel at home, nothing is too much trouble. It is easy to see why people return year after year.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment that surely had the best view in the whole of Amoudi! So close to the Ionian Sea the we could almost throw a stone into it from the balcony, and views out to Kefalonia.....heavenly!

We could enthuse forever but suffice to say....we will be going back!

And a note to all....Andreas makes a 'mean' bacon & egg roll!

Lighthouse - (Restaurants in Kalamaki)

Best English Breakfast on the island....no doubt about it! - and so cheap too!

We discovered this place on our last morning in Kalamaki last year. This year we made a special journey to Kalamaki from Amoudi (20 mins drive) just to get another breakfast....and we weren't disappointed.

The couple who own the place are lovely people, so friendly.

If you get chance give the Lighthouse a try!

Amoudi Resort - (Resorts in Zante)

amoudi is the perfect location for a peaceful holiday, away from the crowds of brits abroad & noisy nightlife. still unspoilt by tourism, it consisits of small apartment blocks, a handful of tavernas, a couple of quiet bars, 2 small supermarkets and a small tourist shop.

if you want to sample some hustle and bustle alykanas and alykes are a 20/25 minute walk away (or a quick 9 euro taxi ride). taxi's are availble at the rank in alykanas to bring you home, or if there aren't any there you will find the taxi number to call, they speak good english. we never had to wait longer than 15 mins for a taxi.

amoudi beaches are small but perfectly formed, with soft sand underfoot. the sea is shallow for a good way out and calm, making it ideal for children. you won't find watersports here, thank goodness.

if you do venture out on foot you will find lush surroundings with almost everything growing in abundance...lemons, olives, figs, p***kly pears and so on. the locals and their farm animals are so friendly so give them a wave as you go by.

while we were there someone told us that amoudi seems to have a spell cast upon it & eveyone who goes there returns. looks like weve fallen under that spell too....we will be going back.

EuroAlfa Car Rental - (Car Rental in Zante)

A smooth professional service that we could highly recommend.

Our jeep was delivered to & collected from us in Amoudi, so we never actually visited the site in Tsilivi. Instead it was organised over the telephone and then the paperwork done when the jeep arrived. Completely no hassle on our part...what could be better.

The jeep was in excellent condition and was insured comprehensively so that 0 excess was payable should the worst happen! Prices were keen and in fact we were offered low season price even though we were there in high season!

Needless to say we will use EuroAlfa on our next visit to Zakynthos.

Clear Horizon - (Accommodation in Amoudi)

Well after a whole year of counting down, we can hardly believe that our second visit to Clear Horizon is now behind us.

Everything was just as great as we had remembered from last time, Andy & Co. going all out to make things perfect.

If you are looking for something a world away from the 'Brits Abroad' holiday, then here might just be for you. Located in peaceful surroundings right on the beach; Andy, the Girls, Soula, Diana & Papa make you feel like one of the family. There is a completely relaxed feel at this place, with no pressure to do anything but exactly what YOU want to make your holiday special.

So Andy.....no doubt you will be hearing from us again soon. And by the way NO MORE SPLASHING IN THE POOL!

Merlis Car Hire - (Car Rental in Zante)

Hired over the Net prior to arriving for 3 weeks in July/August. Julie was quick to respond to our email & the quote was by far the best that we had been given. Jacqui was there to meet us at the airport & the paperwork was done smoothly. Our Suzuki Jimny Jeep was excellent. Luckily for us it was brand new, only 300km on the clock. Both Jacqui & Julie gave us tips on the best places to visit.

All in all, a great company to do business with....friendly & helpful staff.

Clear Horizon - (Accommodation in Amoudi)

We are back from ANOTHER visit to Andreas & Co. Well, you find your bit of heaven and it is hard to want to go anywhere else! Our bit of heaven is Amoudi (& Zante as a whole) & where will you be better cared for than Clear Horizon?!

It's no surprise that people return time & time again. No doubt we will be back there again soon.
