ive just got bk from zante today, ive been loads b4, but this year was by far the best, thanks mainly to Soda, all the bar staff were gr8 all soooo friendly , the music was soo gud a mixture ov everything, cant wait to go back next summer hopefully for a few months rather than a few weeks, dus ne one no if nick, yannis, franko or ginge have email addys as i forgot to ask.
This place was really nice, the music they played was pretty cool and the lads behind the bar, jimmy and ermm cnt remember the other ones name both seemed really friendly. There were always people in it of all ages.
i luv mermaids, me and mi couzin wen there twice and both times the meal was gr8, the staff are sooo friendly and combined with our favourite club plus soda it made it even better. Am soooo gutted to be home tho, got back yesterday
i arrived home yesterday, after 2weeks in zante, i stayed at caretta beach, the rooms were really nice alot better than some i have seen and stayed in on the island b4. we didnt really spend alot ov time at the pool as there were quite a few younger kids there but if you have little children they will defo enjoy it.
wen travelling home yesterday, we had a 2hour delay whichput a bit ov a downer on the holiday as the airport was sooo cramped and wed been up along time, though in its defense it is sooo much better than wen we first went 10 years ago and they are developing it such as the shaded area outside so yu dont have to queue in the hot sun and they have started to build an extension, you have to be patient as up to a short while ago zante was a small quiet not very well known island know lots of people are going which is being a big shock to the airport. it wont stop me going back though.
i went to the water park last week and really enjoyed it especially the lazy river which was sooo relaxing, the price to enter wasnt too expensive it cost around 17euros to enter and we were there till about 5.30. from kalamaki it cost 1.50euros on the bus and about 12euros to get back in taxi, cos we missed the bus which is very reasonable considering its quite far away.
this was a nice place to come and just relax as it was really pretty and a great atmosphere
I really like the taverna, its very relaxing just to sit n eat yur lunch whilst pratically on the beach with out worring bout getting sad in yur meal and the people r really friendly, wish i was back there.
Went to Dias twice whilst staying in kalamaki, well three times if yu include breckfast, all three times we were made to feel special, on one of the times we visited it was mi birthday which was really nice. the food was excellant everytime, mi parents stayed in the dias studios which were very nice compared to other accommodations i have seen. yu shud defo go to dias if yur in kalamaki.
when i went to the olive tree i had a borito which was one of the nicest meals i had whilst in zante, the prices were extremly reasonable considering the huge portions that yu got, the waiting staff were very friendly. wud defo go back next time.
We went here on our first and last night, needless to say we enjoyed the first meal alot more than the last, the staff r really friendly and the view is amazing, you can see all over kalamaki, its really pretty.
Louise, sorry but i have stayed at both kalamaki and crystal beach, and kalamaki wins hands down everytime, there are closer hotels to the airport and being such a small island yur bound to hear the planes where ever you are in kalamaki but its not like they are running 24/7. Both hotels are a small walk from the "best restaurants" crystal is probably further away than kalamaki. Im sure if u stayed u wud ov found the hotel staff extremly friendly, the beach and pool are also gr8. shame yur experience at kalamaki cudnt have been nicer, they have really worked hard improving that hotel.
