hey the hotel is brill here it is such an adventure we came back yesterday and i miss it all ready. We went for 2 weeks and i would love to go again im only 14 and when i leave school im going to go out there and hopefully work there for six months i loved every minite off. the family is so kind and lovley they are always here for you . i just wanna say thanks to the family and i miss you all dia jimmy and Tom!!!!!!xx

Hey all at the cronulla hotel,Derek and i would just like to say a massive thank you for your great hospitality AGAIN!!! Tom and Angelo are the best bar staff. They are fun, friendly and very welcoming.

Our favourite bar in Kalamaki.  Went in here virtually every night for pre dinner drinks not to mention the odd lunch time beer and club sandwich  The best vodka and tonics in the resort Dia, Steve, Jimmy, Suzanne, Tommy, Robbie all work so hard to give you a good time.  See you all in September.

We met here for drinks beforw our evening meals.  Jimmy, Susanne, Tom still as welcoming as ever.

A big hello to Tom, Jimmy and Susanne.  Once again we will be joining you guys for a drink or 2.  We will be bringing along some members of our family, who hopefully will enjoy your company and great bar.   See you all in about 5 weeks time.

What a wonderful place to have a night out. All of the staff are great, friendly, helpful and good mates to know and talk with. Spent our evenings (and early morning) here every night for the fortnight in June and September! Hope the wine is brewing well Jim! Keep me a tester for next year. Sue and Jim thanks for the lifts down the long road.Tom, will you please hang on to some of that outstanding olive oil till we return?

Cronulla Hotel.

Located about 3k from the airport its only takes 5 minutes to get here. Its actually worth getting a cab as it will take longer to locate and get on your coach than the journey itself. They only cost pennies anyway.

The proximity to the airport is not an issue. You can hear and see the planes coming in and taking off but its not that loud and they are gone in seconds anyway. There no night time flights anyway so your sleep will not be disturbed.

Rooms are basic but over par compared to usual greek studio type rooms. Basic facilities but very clean and spacious. They are cleaned out every other day and supplied with bedding and new towels. The fridge is good and the supplied hot plate you will probably never use. The only real gripe is the air con. Which is expensive and when on a little noisy, it works well though, however we found that we didn't really need it in September so you may be able to do without.

As the brochure says most of the rooms have a balcony that faces the pool. As for the floors, the ground floor allows you to just hop over the rail and into the pool area while the top floor gives views of the sea and the mountains.

A plus would be the option of a TV in the rooms, but this is currently not an option. The bar area however has about 6 TVs scattered about and with a full Sky reception the guys will put on anything you fancy (I got to see the Superbike round while I was over).

The pool is great. Nice and (relatively) big. Shut and cleaned and checked every night so no problems there. Sun beds are free with mattresses being 2 euro a day. You can get li lows for about 4 euro if you want to save a bit of money. The staff don't appear to mind either way.

The bar (for us at least) is what makes the Cronulla. Jimmy and Tom make it a very pleasant and fun place to be while Suzanne and Dia restore a bit of normality to the place, while always serving keenly priced and very good drinks and food. The frozen Mythos glasses with the cold beer is just what you need on a hot day. It can get busy at night but its never over bearing like a lot of bars, and the boys will keep you entertained and well looked after. The Cronulla bar is worth the stay in itself.

If I was being picky then I could say the only real downer about the hotel is the proximity of the main Kalamaki road directly outside, its quite busy and can get a bit noisy and you do get the odd nutter firing up the road on a bike. But that's true of most of the premises in kalamaki and not the hotels fault.

The beach is quite a hike away, maybe 20 minutes walk but its not worth it when you get there really. The sand is the colour and texture of brown sugar, and what there is of it (not much) appears to have been used as a global community ashtray, its not a great place to be really, the only thing in its favour being the sea, which is clear and warm, but there are much nicer places to go.

Great Bar, lovely atmosphere and friendly staff.

  Came in every other day for breakfast as Dia serves the best greek brekfast on the island.  My son and husband always had a full english but the greek yoghurt and honey or traditional greek brekkie was the best.  Steve and Dia are wonderful people and the staff are a credit to them.

We have been going to this bar ever since it was built and it is an excellent place to visit.

The atmosphere here is great and it is spotless. Jimmy and Tom are very friendly and will help you out with anything. The Mythos is Excellent here and is always served in ice cold glasses! The Snack bar is also worth a try! I would recomend as Jimmy knows that i liked the Hot Dogs!! lol!

The pool area is always clean and crystal clear.

staff are really friendly here & had many a good night there, well worth a visit.

been here a few times i was there every day last year and now im staying there this year for 2 weeks! deffenitly think people should go there!! the people are lovely especially dia she cooks some fantasic food and the greek night they have are so much fun! although you dont really get a coice in dancing!!!

always clean, food is fantasic, people are lovely! had a bit of a obsession with frapes as tom knows!!! ha ha how many was it 7 a day!! went everywere and had a frape and no1 made tham as good as tom although obviously martin comes close second!!!!!  deffinatly say people should go!!!!! see you all soon

really liked this bar, we came here many nights and enjoyed a drink and games of pool. the staff here are really friendly and dont make you feel uncomftable.

Ate here most days and everything from breakfast,baked tatties salads and gyros were lovely.Dias is so friendly and serves you with a smile everytime.Great prices,

as we were staying at the cronulla hotel, we enjoyed a few light lunches here. the tuna premier is recommended
