ate here three times in our two wk stay.had the fillet steak twice & pizza the other time.i have to say the steak is among the best i've ever tasted.no problems here at all.it certianly does'nt need anyone on the street to drag you in.fantastic.
i love my curries but this was awful.my wife & i had the set menu for two which varies.chicken pakora & onion bhajis were just ok.we both had chicken tikka massala as main dishes.it may as well of come from a tin.no,sorry-i've had better from a tin.26 euro's for the above with one portion of pilau rice & one so called naan bread.it's a shame cos this put us off trying the prince of asia.you have been warned.
only visited the frog for brekkie or lunch(about 10 times)but every time was great.by far the best "fry up" we found.2 egg,2 bacon sausage, fried bread, toms, beans, black pud & FRESH MUSHROOMS!!!! all that plus toast, tea or coffee AND orange juice. 4.50 euros.if your wondering why fresh mushrooms is in capitals it's because most places used tinned ones for more than one dish ie garlic mushrooms & pizzas.i now despise tinned mushrooms!
must have caught these guys on a bad night.not one to hurry back to.average all round for us i'm afraid.
ate here twice in two weeks.both times had steak & was really nice.great if you have kids as thers a sup**vised play area.
this place was recommended to us by two different people.nice food, very reasonable.had the set meal,of which there's a choice of two.starter, main & dessert with side salad @ 8.50 euros.can't complain at that price.total bill with drinks & kids meal was under 30 euros.set in beautiful surroundings too.live music to accompany your meal.staff were'nt as pleasant as other restraunts we visited though.
stayed here from 3/7 till 17/7 05.fantastic location away from the hustle & bustle.great pool with kids section.greek night was excellent.a big hello to matt the halesowen massive!! and natalie & amy the bexhill massive.i doubt bexhill has ever been as quiet as when you two were here!
we drank in here most nights as it appealed straight away.we also ate here a few times too.nice pub grub.really good atmosphere.for anyone who was over there early july, did you see a little blonde haired girl, emily on the karaoke? well that's my daughter.she took a real shine to sinbad who was great to us there.
my family & i stayed here from 20th july for two weeks.location wise it's goodroom was just ok.we ran out of water for 20hrs & both my wife & i informed the owners who did'nt seem to care.we were told to run the hot tap for 10 mins & hot water would come through.i put all taps & the shower on for 45 mins & still nothing! also when we had our sheets changed we were missing a sheet but as we'd been out all day we came back to shower & change & did'nt notice till 2 in the morning & could'nt really do owt about it.we found the owners ignorant & they seemed to have an attitude which said we've got your money and don't really care now.we won't be coming back to tom & johns & we are not recommending it to friends & family.apart from that tsilivi is lovely.
hello yannis, spiros & co.hope your all well.brilliant bar, brilliant staff.sorry i did'nt come down on our last night-i'd been suffering from migraines & could'nt bring myself to do anything.if we ever make it back, which we hope to then we'll see you then.thanks for the t-shirt yannis.take it easy, shron, emily & roy(morrissey!!!) oh & a big hello to scruff, helen & family!
