Hi Dave, thanks for the lovely breakfasts. Your bacon butties were as good as back home and your tuna sandwiches were just the best and of course a decent cup of tea. Day trip to Kefalonia - (Zante Excursions)

Any trips to anywhere on Zante or to other islands book with Pelargos tours and speak to Eleana. We have been with them for the last 6 years and cannot fault them. We went to Kefalonia this year and had a wonderful trip. It is right what people say the reps charge twice as much and although they do not recommend other tour operators this is purely to get a profit for their own tour companies. Pelargos have never overcharged, are always prompt and the guides speak perfect english. We would not go with anyone else. Gail & Barry Derbyshire, Manchester, England

Congratulations Tas and Sinead. Looking forward to seeing you all again this August, Dave miss your bacon butties and tuna maonaise sandwiches at lunch, hope you are still there.

See you in August, would love to hear if anything has changed, anything built in the place of the Hong Kong hope the weather is good. How about the airport? heard that the authorities had run out of money to finish the departures ah well that's the Greeks for you, but would not miss them for the world love the place, our second home.

Gail & Barry here from Manchester, UK, looking forward to coming and staying with you again this August (hopefully our old room No.3), managed to book with Manos on the last minute.

Sorry to hear Rachel will not be there, we will miss her.

Cannot believe we have been coming to Zante since 1999 and have stayed with you 8 times out of 9, and would not go anywhere else, you are an amaizing family and have a lovely complex, everywhere is spotless and you always make us very welcome. A beautiful place to stay, relaxing and enjoyable looking forward to it, on count down now 9 weeks to go. See you all in August.

Zakynthos Airport - (Places to Visit in Zante)

Glad to know the airport is up and running. We have been coming to Zante since 1998 and this will be the first year we will have not gone, ah well never mind better luck next year unless we win the lottery tomorrow.

Yoyos - (Restaurants in Kalamaki)

Been going to Kalamaki since 1999 and have always gone in Yoyos from it first opening. The meals are brillient, especially when I ask for the smallest chicken or the smallest pig, Kathy always laughs and said I have no chance in getting through the chop which is the size of the plate. We missed going last year but will make up for it this year in July. Can't wait to see Kathy and others again. We wonder if Fresco is still with them at their new abode. We hope they are doing well.

Antonis Apartments - (Accommodation in Kalamaki)

We have also been going to Kalamaki and staying at Antonis since 1999. We have only missed on 2 occasions and stayed at Rainbow on one of them, some years ago before they had a swimming pool, and last year we missed Zante and went to Corfu, not a patch in any way. But hoorah this year we are back at Antonis in July and can't wait 6 months & counting. We have missed you all Pedro, Lakis, Antonis & Mamma, Nick & others and hope to catch up on news of Lakis family. We hope you have had a good season last year and hope you will again this year. Looking forward to seeing you all in July.

Yes it is getting very popular lucky to get a place this time, so that should tell you what it is like. Our 2nd home cannot fault it in any way and if anyone says anything bad about them, then they don't know what they are talking about.

Everyone is extremely friendly, including Losa one of the cleaners, she speaks little english but welcomed us with open arms again, I hope she is still there too.

Gail @ Baz here from Salford, UK, we have been going to Zante since 1999 always stay with Antonis & the family at Antonis Pool Apartments, Kalamaki, missed 1 year stayed at Rainbow, sadly missed last year went ti Corfu for a week huh! But coming again on July 17 2011 Yippee missed u all lots can't wait 10wks & counting see you soon lovely turtles

just come back from 2 weeks 17-31st July at antonis our 2nd home have been going since 1999. Air con 50EU per week with10EU deposit returnable when the aircon key is handed back (or 50EU per week to hire a fan). For safety deposit boxes it was 15EU per week with 5EU deposit returnable when you took back the safe key.

Just a word of warning there was a taxi strike on the island when we were there people had to rely on tour company coaches so if there is a problem for anyone going please see your reps.

The sun was extremely hot this year please make sure you have a very high sun factor. I burned (usually I don't) and had to go to the chemist for some cream. I have since been to the doctors and it has turned into a yeast infection caused through the heat so please make sure you are well protected.

Rate of exchange was about 1.10EU to �1 sterling. We exchanged our sterling travellers cheques at Sophias, a little jewellers just down the road from there (opposite Pelargos tours) also did a good exchange, no commission charged. If you take EU travellers cheques you will be charged commission.

I hope all of the above helps. Antonis well as per usual EXCELLENT EXCELLENT EXCELLENT, missing our 2nd family already, only one problem pity we cannot stay there all summer, ah well, dream on and time to save up for next year.
