The Red Lion is great! Ken and Jude were the best bar staff i met - very friendly and chatty.

There were live singers performing in the pub who were brilliant. The drinks there were the better than at alot of the other pubs and bars as many just used cheap altermatives to the spirits and/or flat beer!

I can't believe what that guy has written about it being too English - thats a load of rubbish!

Someone else has written that it was roasting in the back where he pool tables are - thats now air conditioned and the coolest part of the pub...

Its a great bar, i applaude Ken and Jude  I would well reccomend you pay them a visit and see for yourself.

I've been back home for a day, i miss Zante!

Went to Artemis every night, it was brill - the drinks were strong and got stronger as the night went on  in there till 6 one night, well, morning! The bar staff were cool, they've got a thing for fire though - me and my mate were dancing and one of the barmaids circled us with a flamable liquid and set fire to it so we were dancing in a ring of fire! Class! The scouse barmaid (Netty) made it very entertaining.

The had a good live act playing in there (Mackey and Oddie), but also a crap one (Elvis impersonator).

I stayed in Hillside apartments 1. Yeh it is up a hill but like someone else has written it only a 5 minute walk down to the Family Inn where you can use there pool and the snack bar - if you're unfit then fair enough don't stay there! I'm all for walking up hills anyway and the view from the balcony was just awesome! Well worth not having air conditioning.

When we arrived we had a few issues with the apartment - a hand towel to dry your body with, and 3 days into the holiday the room hadn't been cleaned. But i need to back up the owners here because it is actually Libra's policy to clean the rooms once a week! We got the rep (Jodie) to come up to our apartment and we came to a deal that we would get bath towels and our rooms were cleaned every other day. This rep Jodie was horible though, very patronising. She made a lady 2 doors down from us cry!

I loved Argassi beach. Very clean and quiet with enough room to play bat and ball, what more do you need?!

This was a great trip. We were taken to the ship wreck where we have half an hour to do as we pleased and swim in the beautiful blue sea. Then for a look at the Blue Caves, not as spectacular as i was expecting, but the boat stopped and we had the choice to jump off and have another swim .

This trip was good for the swimming in my opinion. If you want to go in all the caves and have a proper look at them then i would reccomend you go on a trip that takes you out on samller boats - these ones don't go to the ship wreck though.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I've got to give a mention to the Caretta Caretta turtle spotting trip from Keri as there isn't a section for it. It was a fantastic trip and a bargain at 13 euro. The trip lasted 2 hours in which time you see the turtles, Keri caves, and get to go for a swim on a beautiful little beach.

The best restaurant in Argassi!

Lovely food and very friendly staff - one night after our meal, the older waiter scooped me up in his arms and carried me through the restaurant where he literally threw me to another waiter (the guy on the door) who carried me to the door - so funny!

The man on the door gave me lots of hugs and kisses... maybe too friendly (i didn't think so), but its all a matter of opinion isn't it.

Wouldn't recommend this place. They tell you there is a sea view, which there isn't - but that wasn't a big deal anyway. The problem was we waited 50 minites for our meal, then a waiter came over to us and said "finished?" our food hadn't even been bought to us! People who came in after us were being served before us. And then when we did eventually get our food it was nothing to shout about, and definately not worth the money we paid for it.

Though i must say, the man on the door was very polite and friendly.

Don't go there! You might be fooled (as we were) because there are always people in there, but trust me, they wouldn't have been returning for a second time! The food was awful - it was like it had been cooked then re-heated. It was our last meal of the holiday (and most expensive) - what a disappointment!

Very nice food - Lamb in the oven - melts in your mouth, heavenly!

The food was lovely, quite small portions (not too small though), so if you're a big eater i wouldn't recommend it. The man on the door is very friendly too.

Libra were rubbish! There policy was that the rooms at the Hillside apartments were only cleaned once a week which isn't acceptable. I felt sory for the owners at Hillside because they were getting all the complaints about not having clean rooms - and this was actually down to Libra. The rep, Jodie, was horrible, very patronising, ignorant, difficult to get hold of, and she made the lady 2 doors down from us cry! Hillside apartments are at the top of a hill, Jodie didn't even come up the bank with us to make sure everything was ok - she just left us at the bottom and the owner came own in a little van to take us and our luggage up.

If i went again i'd go with First Choice - we heard good things about them.
