Panorama Studios - (Accommodation in Alykes)

just been reading through the reviews of the panorama and i am shocked! i stayed at the panorama a couple of years ago and have to say it was one of the best holidays i have had.

our room was the perfect size, very clean and the cleaners were there regularly, if you needed anything in between you just had to ask and someone would take care of it. the pool and facilities were great and suitable for kids. my little boy was on the machines all the time (cost me a fortune!) staff didnt mind. the staff were great, very welcoming and helpful, we were not overly friendly with them and yet the next year when we went to a different resort for a change we visited them and they recognised us immediately with a very warm welcome.

as for rats, i never saw one and the smell, that is everywhere in greece because of the sewage system, but it isnt that bad even in that heat, you only smell it when you pass the open ditches!

i have to say that the bad comments on this page are harsh and totally unfounded, the apartments are great, clean, ideally located, the home cooking is fab and dennis and family are without doubt the friendliest family on zante. and the greek night is the best i have ever been to, dennis makes a mean barbeque! i intend going back to stay at the panorama again very soon.

Diana Palace Hotel - (Accommodation in Argassi)

excellent hotel, didnt expect such a high standard! cleaning staff were there everyday, sheets were changed every 3rd day! bathroom cleaned everyday and they have a cleaning sup**visor who checks every room every day! absolutely spotless. i was near back road in argassi didnt experience any unexpected noise, just the usual but not enough to keep me awake.cooker, kettle, micro, fridge, hairdryer, shampoo, showercap and cotton buds supplied!!!!!!

staff were excellent, especially the bar staff. food was great and the setting around the pool was lovely and relaxing. night staff look after you very well, there was a group of young boys who were a bit noisy and the night shift were right down and told them to quieten down! ideal location and great fun for all ages. i felt my family (2 kids 5+2 yrs) were very safe, there is security cameras all around the complex. the main building were the bar is, is quite fancy and doesnt look as though it would be nice for a wee drink but surprisingly it is, there is a pool table and ps2 and a small but adequate library for your use.

overall, fantastic hotel with a high standard of funishings and staffing, they couldnt do enough for you.

Plaza Hotel - (Accommodation in Laganas)

plaza II is brilliant. ideally located for the beach and just around the corner for the clubs and pubs, there isnt a lot of noise from the pubs, so you wont be kept up til all hours! george and family are the best, we go to zante every year but stay in different resorts but always go to see george and the family. they are so welcoming. seen a lot of changes over the years at plaza II and it just gets better. the rooms are spacious and very comfortable. the cleaning staff and there standards are great. the pool is perfect for everyone, plenty of sunbeds and the beach is right on the back door. the food is unbelievably good, try georges meatballs and chips - to die for! the bar area is brilliant. the greek night is not to be missed, well worth the 10 euros, george does a mean barbeque!

we visit george and giota every year even when we are staying in different resorts, we now regard them as friends of the family.

overall, very very friendly and helpful, rooms are clean and staff can not do enough to make your stay memorable.

we will be back soon, we send our love to george, giota, constantina and versailles.
