My Fiance and I stayed here for 10 days in July/Aug 2012 and could not fault the Hotel in any way.
We have just come back from 2 weeks holiday in the Diana Palace, 1st May to the 15th May 2012, we were a group of 16 and were made to feel very welcome, we were the first to arrive for this holiday season so were filmed on arrival. All the staff were very friendly, the reception staff, Staithos from the pool bar, George, Georgie's wife, Marcus, Dennis (chef), Jodi from the restaurant, Kill Bill from the reception bar, the hotel was clean and tidy, the pool area was also kept very clean & tidy. The rooms were spacious with maid service daily if you wanted it. Quite close to the shops, bars & restaurants but not too many were open as it was early in the season. I had my 50th birthday while there, they made me a cake and set out the table so we could all site together, it was lovely made me feel very special. Thanks to all at Diana Palace.
Diana Palace Is Sooo Good O_o
It Is A Real Bantur Nice Staff And Great Greek Nights soo Funn !!!! Just Back Anbd i Would Recomend It For Families :)Hey Can Anyone Tell Me About The Diana Palace Please
diana palce is not a suitable family hotel, mainly due to the depth of the childrens pool and additional adult swimmimg pool. in my opinion the childrens pool is a health and saftey risk to children under 8yrs.
Stayed at this hotel on a self catering basis. Air conditioning for two weeks E65, safety deposit E30, which I think is fairly good value. Rooms were cleaned, what seemed everyday. All staff very polite and helpful. Plenty of sunbeds, nice pool. Pleasant setting. Mix of nationalities. Used the restaurant facilities at the hotel on three separate occasions, very good value, filling, good selection.
Diana Hotel - looks great in the brochure and yes pool is nice and so are the bar staff, but that is it! Rooms are small and cramped and ageing badly, the fridge door fell off on my 8 year old, fortunately not my younger son! Manager is unhelpful and arrogant they spend more time looking after the outside of the hotel rather than the apartments. And the stench that was created outside by the bin bags that were stacked for 2 days was revolting, would never recommend anyone to stay here and I have been to this resort many times and tried out different hotels on each stay. Its rated in the Airtours brochure as a 3*+ I would not even rate it as a 1*.
excellent hotel, didnt expect such a high standard! cleaning staff were there everyday, sheets were changed every 3rd day! bathroom cleaned everyday and they have a cleaning sup**visor who checks every room every day! absolutely spotless. i was near back road in argassi didnt experience any unexpected noise, just the usual but not enough to keep me awake.cooker, kettle, micro, fridge, hairdryer, shampoo, showercap and cotton buds supplied!!!!!!
Stayed for 7 nights August 2nd 2007 in Room 604, they consider this a 2 bedroom apartment (which we paid for ) this is actually 2 bedrooms with a cooker, and a table for 2. The rooms are rundown, the bathroom is in a very poor condition. On informing the reception staff of this they pretend not to understand and became extremely unhelpful and rude. The rep listened to everything and agreed but they were just as rude and unhelpful to her. At every opportunity they want to charge you for basics (ie) Safe, air com, fridge.
The swimming pool is to small for the amount of guests and very dangerous as there is no indication of the depth of the water. This is not a 4 star Hotel, all the main staff were rude and ignorant with the exception of Sakithos who was in charge of the poolside bar.
Do not stay at the front of the hotel because of the noise from nightclubs outside your room until 4am.
Worst place we have ever stayed in and travel abroad frequently,
Stay elsewhere would not recommend this accomodation
I know alot of people have put a poor rating on this hotel but i disagree. I have met alot of people on their holidays and absolutely loved diana palace hotel. The rooms get cleaned everyday clean sheets and towels. The night reception are always helpful. The swimming pool well all of them are the same in Greece or where ever you go. The food is good. You have a laugh with the snack bar staff and the night bar tender. What more can i say i do like the hotel very much and the staff are so nice and friendly so i am not going to complain.
we have just returned home, and stayed at the dianna palace in room 410. it was clean, staff were good, but there was a few probelms with the room. the sink was leaking, the shower curtain kept falling off, and one of the bedside lights kept tripping the electic off. the walls were paper thin, the bath mat apeared one day and vanished the next, toilet roll was scars. the swimming pool wasnt child friendly, and went from 3 feet to 6 feet in about 6 feet.i would think twice about booking the same hotel again
Stayed here on he 15th October for 1 week, we have stayed in argassi several times before but this was the worst studios we have stayed in
Not saying much as cant find much if anything good to say.
Stayed at the diana palace from the 28th sep-5oct 2006 the hotel was exellent really clean the pool area was nice and staff very friendly. The hotel is situated in a great place with plenty of shops, bars and places to eat.If i return back to argassi i would defintley stay back at the diana palace.
We stayed in the main hotel on a half board basis for a week 25th September to 2nd October.
On the plus side the staff were very friendly, the food was good although the menu lacked choice, there was no fresh milk (due to it being near the end of season?). The room was cleaned daily, no complaints with the service at all.
On the down side the pool area was over crowded and noisy, bar music far too loud for my liking. You pay extra for the use of the fridge and air conditioning.
Overall, looking at the other comments, the mix of self catering and hotel does not work as well as one or the other would. The hotel is in the centre of town so you should expect some noise.
Our family have just returned from two weeks self catering at the Diana Palace and reading the comments before, I think your experience of the hotel depends on which part you stay. I am 25 and shared a two bed apartment with my parents. Our original room was a disappointment, it was situated away from the main hotel block below ground level next to the children's play area. We mentioned our disquiet to reception and our rep. The hotel manager and Georgia arranged for us to be moved. The second room was excellent and made the holiday. I cannot fault the cleanliness of either room or the service we received from reception and the bar. The staff were excellent and very helpful. The hotel is clean well appointed and within easy reach of all the bars, shops, restaurants and the beach!
P.S Please feel free to email me at any time andI'll send you some photos, my e mail is jonm4sherman@yahoo.com Please don't go there and waste your hard earned cash like we did !
hello all,
Great hotel freindly staff, clean and very close to everything. make sure you eat at the pool bar as the food is good and has the freindliest staff especially the barmen who remembers everybody's name straight away. All in all a great choice

We stayed in a two bedroom apartment from 18th May to 1st June (3 adults and one child, age 7). Accomodation was very spacious although the apartment did only consist of two rooms, both with two single beds, and a bathroom - the kitchen was in one of the "bedrooms", and wardrobe space was at a premium. Air condition was 35 euro's per week but we did have a microwave (never used), toaster and kettle included in the room. The apartment was cleaned every day. The double glazed doors on the balconies did keep exterior noise to a minimum. Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. We would definately recommend.
