I was a rep in alikanas in 2001 and have to say that this place looks superb. It was obviously still in the erecting (ooh pardon) process as i left in november, but overlooks kefalonia and is situated in a very peaceful bayside location. it is just a short walk into town by what was a small dusty track, and passes just a handful of bars along the way. The beach is immaculate and sandy, and the sea is crystal clear. HAVE A GOOD HOLIDAY!!
sORRY, it is situated down the road from the Letsos Hotel, which is the little road off from the main rd to alykes??? did you get that?? Good luck
This is Kosmars property so it will be a good'en. the property was very nearly finished at the end of (31 oct) 2001 when i left. The beach is very sandy, superb for kids as the water stays very shallow for ages. its not a massively deep beach but is really nice. The accommodation looks out towards Kefalonia and you will definately struggle to get better value throughout Zakynthos. Enjoy yourselves!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi, There wasn't an ATM in Alykes or Alikanas in 2001. There was talk of one but ..... this is Greece. You can get money off a visa from supermarkets but they charge a whopping 10%. Also its worth noting that the bus service into town isn't fantastic so you will probably be best off with euro travellers cheques rather than messing about to go to the banks in town. Any more questions and i'll do my best to answer them! cheers
