We had lunch here when we had the car. Delightful place, great service and lovely food. Gyros in Pitta bread was great and not expensive. Try this place for a relaxing time looking out to sea.
Omg loved this bar, everyone was so friendly!
Just found the web page holidayed there in May 05 and Sept 05 absolutley loved every minute of it going back in Sept 07 can't wait. Visited Sirrocco most days or night wether for breakfast or just a drink on the night time Ben and Roz were so polite and helpful and Lydia and maria had a great sense of humour it was great seeing them can't wait to see them all again.
Holidayed in Zante in May 05 and Sep 05 visited Sirocco everyday for either breakfast or lunch cannot fault the restaurant it was brilliant. Benny and roz, lydia and maria were all very polite, chatty and had a great sense of humour - going back in Sep 07 to see them all again!
Last to comment in 2005 and first in 2006. This place is great. The staff are very friendly and entertaining, the food is top notch and what could be better than eating just a few feet from the water's edge as a full moon rises like a great red ball out of the sea. Can't praise it enough. Mainly Dutch diners, but they are very good company! Hi to Ben, Eddy and Roz! Friday night is BBQ night and you get pork, chicken and village sausage with rice and salad plus dancing in the street for 10 euros. Add your comment here
We had most of our meals here. The staff were very friendly and the food was generally very good. We are veggies so finding a menu with enough variety was something we were anxious about before we went, but we found Sirocco catered for us well. BBQ night looks good fun, we were unable to get a table but ate next door at Manthos and still had a good view of the antics, dancing on tables and in a ring of fire in the middle of the road.
i would recommend the breakfasts we didnt try it until the last day well worth it. The meals on the night were very authentic and good value . Views are to die for . waitresses freindly with a good sence of humour.
We were there in September 2004, we had a great time. The people were very friendly and the food was very good. The bbq was good too and we enjoyed the greek dances Ben and Ross showed us. Ofcourse we had to dance too but thats another story.
We ate almost every meal here. You can't fault the food or the service.
We had our first meal here in Zante...it was ok.
We returned on the Friday for there infamous barbeque...not recommended at all...food was cold and no variety.
An english waitress was also quite rude in the way she commented about the pair of us.
WE EAT HERE A FEW TIMES AND IT WAS ALSO VERY NICE PRICES VERY GOOD AND SERVICE WAS GREAT
English breakfast here is a must !!!!! Sorry folks never got around to trying out the place for dinner ................ maybe next time !
We have just returned from Zante and thoroughly enjoyed the food and friendliness of Roz and Ben the man and wife team who manage the sirocco.I had steak with roast potatoes and my wife had grilled chicken with roast potatoes. On Fridays they hold a barbeque with as much as you can eat for 10Euros. There is also traditional greek dancing for you to get involved with. Allthis whilst enjoying the view over the beach
We ate here most nights and most mornings, mainly because the two people who ran the restaurant were so friendly. It was run by an Albania Called Ben and his Scottish wife Rose, and they went out of there way to make you welcome. On friday night they have a BBQ and greek night and for 10 euros you get chicken ,rib, sausage, greek salad, tzaki and chips. You also get half a litre of white or red wine between two people included in the price.Beware Ben might try and get you dancing on the table with him by the end of the evening. On our last night it was my 40th birthday celebration and Ben came out with a delicous chocolate birthday cake with candles and a bottle of bubbly which he gave us free of charge.
