Dimitrios Beach Bar

Very  disapointed last time we  went. We were greated (!) by this quite scary woman at the bar ! Seemed more interested in selling her wares ( unbelievably priced Oriflame) , than asking if we had been there before.We expected to see her gypsy caravan parked on the grass.We have been going to Argassi for 15years & many of those years were spent at the beach bar. They have had the best staff working there . So friendly & helpful, it was always a pleasure to be there day & night. We got ver losing Lorenzo as he worked next door , but we were surprised that the lovely English lady wasn't there, as she made us so welcome & the food & service was brilliant.
Unfortunatly we were told it was now under new management. The food looked like it had been thrown on the plate & it had a very bad atmosphere. "IF IT'S NOT BROKEN DON'T FIX IT '


I'll rate last years visit as a 2. Only because of the view .

Well don't know whats happened here, just got back & the place isn't the same, only went in once.

hi and nice  see you every one. Its me Peter the staff boy from the pool. This summer is finish and i have very good time. So i hope  see you all again the next summer.

Hi to all at the Dimitrios beach bar, had a great time there every day, it has beautiful views across the sea, the sun beds are free & comfortable the food was good & the people were great, hi to Peter, Lorenzo, Spiros & not forgetting Scoobie the dog.Hope to come back next year

This is the best pool bar in argassi, spent alot of our time lazing about here during the day! peter the bar man doin flips of the roof...quality, is a must see!!  

We stayed at Katrina Palace for 2 weeks and spent 13 days and quite a few nights here, excellent place, great staff Lorenzo and Peter top guys ( hope the England shirts fit ) oh and lets not forget that crazy guy Spiros and his dog Scooby..great laugh at the Sunday night BBQ's ...cant wait for next year YAMMAS.

WHAT A PLACE.  BEEN HERE FOR 7 YEARS AND IT IS A CLASS PLACE.  LORENZO IS THE MAIN MAN, HE MAKES DIMITRIOS WHAT IT IS (see u next year buddy, miss you).

YOU HAVE GOT TO COME HERE, ITS AMAZING.  IM AIMIN TO BEAT RENZO IN POOL NEXT YEAR HAAAAA (ILL AVE U RENZ).  SHAME HE IS NOT WORKIN IN THE NIGHTS IS NOT THE SAME, BUT ANOTHER GUY SPIROS IS AN ENTERTAINER HE IS SUCH A LAUGH.  CANT WAIT FOR NEXT YEAR BOYS SEE YOU SOON

Can't wait to relax here when we return to Argassi next month, for 2 weeks this time

Our third time in Argassi.  Not found Dimitrios before but luckily found it this time.  Fantastic friendly staff, all made you feel very welcome.  Fantastically comfortable sunbeds and superb pool.  Went there every night for a cool refreshing drink and a sea breeze.  Wonderful place all round.  Will  be there next year.  Thanks to the guy behind the bar day and night (never asked his name sorry but he used to jump in the pool when he got hot).  Thanks.

This is a perfect spot for sunbathing if you are not keen on getting sand in all your awkward places!!! The sunbeds here are on the grass but its just a couple of steps down to the beach and to a bit of shallow sea.

The sunbeds are very comfortable, the shower/toilet facilities are good, and there is free table tennis, pool, volleyball and kids toys. The food is lovely, especially liked the vegetable pizzas,   and all the staff really friendly. There is a BBQ each Sunday night about 8pm but we didn't find out about this till we were due to come home - early on the Sunday afternoon so we missed it!!

Bring lorenzo back on the evening and the BBQs!! only 8 weeks to go till chilling in the pool again!!

Returned from Argassi again last week. Spent most of our days here at Dimitrios. This time we were with our son & 5yearold grandson who loves the place & absolutely adores Lorenzo, he keeps saying he misses him. The pool area is spotless as usual, the food & drink excellent & the atmosphere brilliant. We went to the barbecue on Sunday & it was very good (€10 adults,€5 kids) although Lorenzo isn't working evenings this year There's a bit of rubbish on the beach  next to Dimitrios but not piles & you can't see it from the sunbeds so don't let anything you might read about it put you off. We'll certainly be back when we return later in the year

At Last Fortis ,Cathy & Lorenzo get some well earned good remarks they deserve .Everyone feels like they are special they treat you like royalty.The place has everythimg you need we have been going 12 years now started as just a shed on grass even then it was great can not wait till May 11th 2 weeks of heaven

What can I say that has not already been saidb , this place is great has it all great music being played has free table tennis net ball loungers and a free pool table.

Just a quick note to say that Dimitors's bar by the sea is a fantastic place. Great staff especially Suzie (the wonderful waitress) and Lorenzo. Nothing is ever too much trouble and they always smile. Spent nearly every day there for 2 weeks.

Forgot to say Dimitrios is ideally situated for an evening drink, sitting on the sea front watching the sun go down behind Zante town with the ferries in the foreground. Very romantic . If you need directions to find this little bit of paradise:- from the Best supermarket head towards Zante town for a couple hundred yards, on the right in between "Sajnas" restaurant & "After" snack bar there is a lane down to the beach, go down the lane & Dimitrios is on the left you can't miss it

Can't believe that after all our previous visits to Argassi we only found Dimitrios this year, the place is awesome. My husband had heard about Lorenzo & the staff so we thought we would give it a try half way through the week, it should have been our first port of call. We don't normally spend much time around pools, preferring to do our sunbathing at banana beach but once we had visited this pool we spent most of our days here. The food is first class, probably the best breakfast in town & the service from the young waitress (I should have got her name) was excellent. Lorenzo is a whirlwind, always rushing around providing top class service, yet always spends time chatting with customers old & new. The pool area is very clean, as are the toilets & showers etc (make sure you use these before getting in the pool as we saw Lorenzo "asking" 4 young ladies after going on the beach....good on him) The (free) sunbeds are very comfortable & excellent for topping up the tan, or sitting in the shade of the umbrellas if you wish.   All in all this place is fantastic & once you visit you'll find it hard to tear yourself away, I just wish we had found it a few years ago, but we'll be there lots next year

Love this place the pool is great, clean and ideal for the whole family.  Lorenzo is brilliant and doesn't stop all day/night.  The waitress is fantastic and nothing was too much trouble.  The BBQ's there are superb, a meal by the sea at sunset what more do you  want on your holiday, there even a patio area where you can pretend to be Shirley Valentine
