Telebank 24hours Cash Machine

Ive just got a travel card for zante so i dont need to take all cash, but i can only use it at a cash machine that accepts mastercard, is there one in laganas PLEASE HELP! xx

i have a visa electron and get paid 2 days after being out in Zante..........could somebody please tel me if these are accepted or else i will be skint for my whle holiday.......lol...........not funny!! thanks guys....xxx

Yay great for when bloody dennis rentals charged us 600 euros for absolutely nuffing on our last day when we never had a bit of money between us. Avoid dennis' at all costs. Its also conveniently located next to the football game for near-infinate attempts at winning champagne!

managed to get money out every time! i used a solo link card but cards have to have maistro cirrus logo on it

Yes electron is accepted at the cash point at the end of the strip, citi bank or something i think it is.

I'm going to Laganas at the end of Sept first time abroad and all that hype, only thing is i've only got an visa electron card, wil they take it? i've applied for other cards but they won't accept me!

Yes you can use your card, i did many a time, it saves taking major wedges of cash with you, remember that good old saying, "don't put all your eggs in 1 basket!"

Going to Laganas on the 22nd July and hoping to use my cashcard over there as I get paid while I am away. I have a Link symbol on it and a visa sign - will this be o.k. Also, has anybody heard of the Kontikas apartments in the centre of Laganas - staying there but can't find it on the website - scary!!

my advise would be to take as much as you can of your money in euros and take a credit card as a back up use it to purchase any gifts or booze (which is very cheap) to take home with you. then all the hard cash you take can go on partying and sightseeing if thats what you are in to just make sure you keep all your c/card reciepts so you can check when you get home and if the worst does happin most c/card companies will insure you for that sort of thing.

don't worry!!! no one else i know u been out there had anything happen to them!!! but just keep track so if anything does happen!!! u got records for the bank!!!! have a great time!!!!!

just a warning!!! i just come home from laganas and didn't have any problems at all getting cash!!! i got hsbc credit and switch cards!! but my auntie was out there 2 weeks before me and she had her card skimmed!!! someone cleared her out!! so keep track of what you withdraw!!!

Cash machines (ATMs) - does anyone know where there is a "hole in the wall" in Argassi. The 2 in Zante accepted Solo - am hoping for similar in Argassi .... anyoone know?

The machines in Laganas are nearly always empty but if you do get to the front of the queue and you are lucky enough to use them, as long as your card has a CIRRUS symbol on (or basically a link symbol) I am pretty sure you should be ok.

did i read that right. no switch cards, my travel agent said i could its just i get paid on my second day there and could do with the cash when i'm there?! can someone confirm that please

Cash Points are always empty in Laganas and Kalamaki - your best bet is to go into Zante Town and use the machines there>

f**king cash points out there! i took euros with me but soon started to run short and i tried the cash points over a peroidof three days and everytime they were emtpy, all three of the b*****ds. i did manage in the end to get some cash, but on my last day i wanted to buy some fags and tried to get some extra cash and guess what.....they were all empty again! dont bother with them, take cash or travellers checks and be done with it.
