Does anyone know if i can bank my euros that i will be earning over the next few months and can i put them into my Natwest account over here? Thanx

I am going to Laganas in August. I was thinking of taking half in euros and half travelkers cheques because I'm worried bout takin it all in cash. Are there places good enough nearby that will change my travellers cheques?

HELP!!!! im going to Zante TOMORROW and need to know will my Abbey National Visa Electron Card (pink may i add) work in the cash points there? and are there many in the main strip of lagana???

hi there got a flex accountcard on the back its got cirrus and link symbol on it is it ok to get cash out of hole off the wall thanx

got back from laganas on monday and i managed to get money out everytime even at 10 in the evening. had no problem and used a solo link card which has a cirrus logo on

just a warning!!! i just come home from laganas and didn't have any problems at all getting cash!!! i got hsbc credit and switch cards!! but my auntie was out there 2 weeks before me and she had her card skimmed!!! someone cleared her out!! so keep track of what you withdraw!!!

I am going to Zante in July of this year 2004 and wanted know where the best places were to change up money and what times they are open. I am staying in Laganas.

I used my Link Cash card which is a visa electron at the cash point machine and it worked..Just use that. When i got home the exchange rate was good too! I used the CITIBANK machine near to i think it was called the ionis hotel on the main strip of Laganas.

a standard link card is no good it has to be compatable with cirrus/maistro

i am going to zante laganas on the 23rd of september as i dont get paid till im over there i need to know if any where takes link cash cards as that is the only card i have!if ne one knows plase tell me thanx!

if i were you i would take stirling as they are alot stringer than the euro at the moment, make sure you take extra money with you as alot of the time the cash point do not have money in them.

Yes Zante has convertedto the Euro. 1 word of warning about the cash point it more often than not runs out of money and it can take a few days for them to refill it

PAT, THE ONLY TYPE OF CASH CARDS FOR CURRENT ACCOUNTS ACCEPTED MUST DISPLAY THE MAESTRO OR CIRRUS SIGNS ON THE BACK OF THEM,YOU SHOULD HAVE NO PROBLEM BUT JUST LINK CARDS ARE NO GOOD. OF COURSE YOU CAN ALSO USE CREDIT CARDS TOO. WE USED MY CIRRUS/MAESTRO CARD MANY TIMES IN LAGANAS OBTAINING WELL OVER £800 DURING OUR STAY.

six days till i fly so i hope someone replys soon, i am taking £200 in drachmas and £800 in uk cash i know i can get it changed at the eurocambio but is this the best way. yours Mick D

We found the EuroCambio to be the best exchange rate within lagana and also offered exchange without commision.
