we found this fabulous wee bar last year and totally fell in love with the place ....Kiki who owns it is an absolute diamond as are her whole family.....grandma especially.......all are made very welcome it's such a lovely place

Excellent bar just across the other side of the salt flats from the town.

Best pool table in town , and it is free.

Great food, very reasonable prices, many special offers and the all-inclusive night was the best night of our holiday. Well worth going, I believe it is every Friday.

Just to let everyone know for the 2007 season ,the Santa Barbara Bar Alykes will be bigger and better than 2006 ,a lot of new things plus new members of staff.So when you are in Alykes call in for a drink and a chat with your host Geoff from Belfast .

Ps Colin has moved on and will not be involved in 2007 and we wish him well.

This bar is for a particular clientele, you have to have a sense of humour! and be one step away from being certified, after all the bars alterego name is the Asylum! great place. free pool table, poker sets, cards, draughts, etc. Colin and Geoff say it like they see it, sometimes rude sometimes lewd and it you are the butt of the jokes, ruthless! we had a good laff and were made to feel welcome. but please for god sake don't go in wearing white socks!!!!!!!!!!

If Colin and Geoff read this, thanks a lot from the Scottish contingent.

Seems a nice Bar except for Roger the Artful Doger barman. My son kindly lent him �400 a year ago in order that he could visit the bar again. Unfortunately Bradley is still awaiting his money back. So remember - if you tip him, ask him to kindly send it to Bradley - the Rat!!

Having worked in alykes for 3 summers! I would like to say the S&B bar is a good bar. However i would like to let everybody know about the real Roger! I lent him �400 quid a year ago, to return to Alykes for a holiday, to visit all our old friends.BUT... the little pratt has never paid it back or even called me! He will suffer the consequences! S&B's is a great bar, sells every drink you could possibly want. Roger (the barman) is a great laugh, and will keep the bar open as long as you want to stay!!
