We went to Zante for the first time and found the Toad-In-The-Hole the first eve, the welcome was out of this world,the food was better than you could do at home.Yianni & Angela are two of the friendliest people you could hope to meet on the island,and we can`t get back to there quick enough.The only regret was that we only had one week there next year we are going for two,and will go to the toad every day mornning & evening.Keep up the great service Yianni & Angela.

I am currently touring the greek islands, researching for a new guidebook in the hope of informing fellow tourists of the best eateries. I personally am partial to a good fish restaurant, but this place is an absolute gem, and so it should be! I've recently been informed that Angela (one of the owners)is trained in the catering business, and you can really tell. Yannis adds the greek element, where other places offer an artificial welcome, this place is a genuine gem. Don't confuse it for 'Billy's place' (next door), the food and poor imitations are well below par. The Toad is a must!

We found this little restaurant on our third day, and had the first hot meal since we arrived. Yianni's service and cheerfulness made sure we returned every day afterwards. My husband had full english every morning, whilst I enjoyed the lemon and sugar pancakes, delicious. For evening meals, we had the beef, veg, and mash and filled potato skins with bacon and cheese. Highly recommended.

IT WAS BRILLIANT!!!!!!Excellent food friendly staff.I recommend the sunday lunch it was gorgeous!!!!!!

Brilliant breakfast and very reasonably priced and the guy serving was very pleasant.We went there about 8 times out of our 14 days.

THIS IS GREAT LITTLE PLACE,A LITTLE GOLD MINE,WE HAD TO WAIT FOR A TABLE BUT IT WAS CERTAINLY WORTH IT,YANNIS THE WAITER IS TOPS WHAT A NICE GUY,AND THE GIRL IN THE KITCHEN IS A WHIZZZZ,SHE NEVER STOPS.SEE U ALL AGAIN SOON.

My boyfriend ate there every night after experiencing a disasterous meal somewhere else.I had a different meal every night and was never disappointed.The service was excellent but you had to get there early because it is only a small place and gets very busy.Their breakfasts are also unbeatable.

We were in Zante for seven days and it was our good luck to find this place on our first day so we returned every day for lunch the food is excellent and served with a smile and prices that were hard to beat dont miss this if your hotel is near by

Thanks to Yianni and Angela for what must be the best cooking and service received on our stay in Laganas. The burgers wiped the floor with macdonalds, the toasties were out of this world and the homemade chips that would make your mother green with envy all served by the gentleman by whom you were always very welcome (Yianni). If you go once you will not want to go anywhere else. 10/10 Thanks.

once me and my boyfriend tried breakfast at toad in the hole you couldnt get us out of there.
we had breakfast there every day for a week.
the toasties are great.
there is a great atmopshere in the small but comfortable resturant.
you must go there!

Once I had eaten here I returned every morning for breakfast, if
there was somewhere else better then I would like to hear. The
service is good, the guy that ran it was a true gent nothing was
to much hassle, the food came out quickly and when it did it was
lovely. Poached eggs the best I have ever tasted, also the beans
and cheese toastie was excellent.

Best place in Lagana for breakfast!!!!!!! a bit small, not a lot of seats!!!!! but well worth it!!!!!!

near to hotel zante park a small diner serving the best english brekkie in the area.the atmospher is cosy and friendly and the food is top notch!the sunday roast spot on.we saw people queueing on the road to get into this place.yianni is a smashing bloke who serves the tables and his misssis,a yorkshire lassie,does the cooking.

Went to Lagana 29/8/02 for sixth time on the trot,stayed at the Cristaffi next door,first night thunderstorm and next morning pissing down with rain, so breakfast at the Toad in Hole. A very nice full English breakfast, and very pleasant people. Two nights later with freinds we met, tried the toad in hole, great big yorkshire pud with mince and onion on top, terrific,a must. Sunday dinner was half a chicken with mash and veg, TIP TOP. Had several breakfasts and evening meals, cant fault the place, but it was a bit small, only sits about 6 tables, but if you can abide your time and get a table its well worth it. the owners are a British lady who cooks and her husband a Greek chappie who is a very nice guy who takes time to give you advice on any thing you want to know about Zante. In my opinion a nice place to eat good food.

everything was excellent friendly atmosphere , food and Yiannis home made wine no hangover with this. Couldn't ask for more. Only complaint was Angelas singing but you can put up with this as everything else was terrific. There friendly atmosphere makes up for everything.
