to sharon, peter tyler and carter, it was great to c u all when we came in sept we had a fab time. the full english is 1 to die for, especially the smedlys beans(oops soz the hienz beans)the bbq nights are great especially the bread and taszeki. the pool is nice and great for that quiet spot of sunbathing. if u are going to kalamaki this is one bar to be in. c u all next year miss u all loads. big hugs and kisses to u all from your sis, fav brother inlaw p**v 1 and paige

This has to be the friendliest, happiest bar in Kalamaki. Peter and Sharon seem to be there 24 hours a day doing all they can for anyone who happens to pop in and the grub is brillian and not expensive. I for one will be making this my first stop on the next holiday. Keep up the good work you guys.

we are coming to the of the season now and what a fab season we have had together, thank you for all the love and laughs that you have given me   for all the breakfast that you have loving cooked for me even tho they were never on the menu and  which are the best in kalamaki.

im gonna miss you guys so much, thanks to the kids for all the fun we have had in the fab pool, thanks to pete for all the mind blowing shots but most of all thank you shaz for being there whenever i needed to talk

Pete, Sharon, Tyler and Carter run a great, friendly bar with great food. Sharons club sandwich takes some beating, Petes Cocktails are simply the best.

To Pete, Sharon & the boys: Thanks for your hospitality on our 3 weeks in Kalamaki, had the only decent beer (forgive you for running out) plus red wine in the resort. The breakfasts out of this world and with proper toast: BBQ excellent, well worth the cost. If your are in this part of the world, give Pete ,Sharon, Carter and Tyler a visit, you wan't regret it. Not only does she have a superb sense of fun and laughter, Sharon makes the best club sandwhiches around and Peter, well what can I say, he is a good guy with a great story to tell and a top people person!

all i can say is this place make the best breakies on the island, if you are staying near by go in pete and sharon will make you feel very welcome, top gub full english will see you full till teatime. and if you need any advise about wear to go on the island just ask nothings to much trouble. the drinks are good and reasonable and we will be in next yr so see u then

The owners of this pool bar do everthing they can to make their customers feel welcome and will give any help and assistance they can to make your holiday more enjoyable. All sorts of food on the menu to choose from and the same with the drinks in a fabulous atmosphere with lovely quiet pool too. Make sure you pay a visit. Turn left at the end of the Kalamaki strip and it's 50 yards on your left/

Easily the best bar / diner in the area.  So friendly, reasonably priced & the quality great.

Thanks to Peter and Sharon we absolutely enjoyed our holiday. Wonderful people, wonderful drink, wonderful meal…WONDERFUL FUN. If you plan to visit Zakynthos, Kalamaki, and you should, go to The Long Story and see if I am right :-)))

We were lucky enough to find this bar during the hot, hot summer months earlier this year. It's run by a great couple from Bolton with the help of their two young sons. The bar has both patio and inside areas for drinking and dining. The food is excellent, well cooked and well presented and a great choice on the menu. The beers, wines and spirits are varied too with the ever present ice cold Mythos and other quaity beers. Situated at the rear of the bar is the most brilliant secluded pool... it's almost private. Great visitors and local workers always popping in and out for a chat and a beer. If you go to Kalamaki, this is one place you must visit, you wont regret it

Me n my boyfriend stayed in some private appartments in kalamaki in july and we went to the longstory bar every nite we really enjoyed the food there and pete n sharon welcomed u wiv open arms.shazza matthew said ur english breakfasts are the best in kalamaki.give the boys a kiss from me and will hope to see u all soon

Went to kalamaki in may n spotted the long story. Pete n Sharon were absolutely fabulous n the food was great. Pete made up some great cocktails n then asked someone in the bar to give it a name.

we visited in june 2006.  The service was excellent.  Sharon and Peter were very friendly and entertaining.  A nice family pool bar.  Very well recommended.  Ace
