Thomson now TUI

The comment before said it all. Only came back from Venus today,and Kevin has gotta be the best rep ever! he really looks out for everyone and is a good laugh.
You should go to the Saturday night live, at first I was sceptical but after I went I saw how great it was. It was such a laugh, everyone had a great time and could join in. Also Kevin was great as Tina Turner.
The turtle cruise did have pretty naff food, but we still had a great time, cause the rep Alexander was really knowledgeable and we got to feed the fish and swim into some caves. Also, some of these other 'turtle cruises' aren't right, cause one turtle which we could have seen ( I never saw it) came to the surface and the other boats surrounded it so the tourists could have a look. It wasn't fair on the turtle.
On the turtle cruise we also got to listen to some people working to conserve the turtle and learn abit more about them. Overall we still had a great time.

Kevin, the Thomson rep based at the Venus Hotel, was absolutely superb! He looked after everybody, made a fuss of the kids and was constantly having a laugh...and what a laugh! Kevin really helped to make our holiday a success. The only slight moan i would have is that the turtle spotting excursion we booked was not good. It was expensive, food was bad and it all seemed a bit rushed. Apart from that, our holiday was absolutely superb and i would never book with another travel company. Thanks for everything Kev!!

I know i always said that it was a sh*t job, but i miss the place like mad!

3RD Time to kalamaki, This is the second time with Thompson overall excellent holiday we stayed at the venus wich was in our view not as good as there website would say the breakfasts were only just acceptable considering the exotica over the road has much more to choose from, last year we stayed at the Roseland wich was a fantastic Hotel, Kev was one of the best Reps weve had, keep it up Kev..

firemans strike on the day we were due to return was a bummer, but thomson were excellent! as below, vouchers, phone card and hotel room! however carl, the holiday rep was s**te! his speech was read from a script, after 5 weeks - and it was a wooden performance carl! get off the island and get a job at burger king in the wirral, know your place!!!

Must admit was a bit dubious about travelling with Thomson's as have had bad experiences with them before BUT..they exceeded themselves this time. Went to Kalamaki and stayed at the Hotel Venus and looked after by Kev (& Charlene, although she disappeared half way through our holiday!) He was very helpful on numerous occasions, particularly when Zakynthos fire crew decided to go on strike on our departure day, meaning that our flights were cancelled!! Thomson's arranged for us to stay in the same hotel for the night and provided us with vouchers for lunch and dinner and gave us a phone card. When we finally made it to the airport at 0400am, everybody was organised and got us through quickly and on our way. I have great praise for all the staff involved and their helpfulness and determination to ensure everybody was happy. Thank you Kev for making it a bit more bearable!

Just got back from Kalamaki and had to write to say how abyssmal the return journey was. We had to wait outside at Zante airport for so long that by the time we had checked we were rushed straight onto the plane. The seat in front of my husband was broken and consequently stuck in the recline position so he was extremely uncomfortable and as we had paid extra to pre book these seats we felt rather aggrieved. About half the plane was not given a Customer Service Questionnaire and the food was absolutely terrible. All we got was a couple mouthfuls of some rather dubious chicken and stale dessert of some description. Apart from all that we had a really enjoyable time and our rep Lucy Clayton was really enthusiastic and pleasant. She always seemed to make time to say hello to all her guests every day. Well done Lucy!

JUST RETURNED FROM TWO WEEKS IN ARGASSI WHICH WE BOOKED THROUGH PORTLAND DIRECT A THOMSON COMPANY. WE STAYED AT THE KATERINA PALACE STUDIOS AND OUR REP TOM WAS FANTASTIC. HE WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND ALWAYS WILLING TO HELP. HE HAD A VERY BROAD KNOWLEDGE OF THE ISLAND AND WOULD PLAN ROUTES FOR YOU TO VARIOUS SIGHTS. HE WAS THE BEST REP WE'VE HAD ON ANY HOLIDAY AND A CREDIT TO TUI.

Had many holidays using Thomsons but felt that the standards are slipping a little since being taken over by Tui. The meals on the plane were dreadful (about 4 mouthfuls of very bland food, with a very stale mini bread roll) plus a tiny sweet There is no excuse other than "cut backs" as the food used to be most acceptable. To add insult to injury - only got half a cup of tea on the return journey and when asking for a refill, was told "we only allow one cup on the RETURN journey" ...... WHY???? Apart from this one grumble we were very satisfied with Thomson, our accommodation "Zantino studios" were very comfortable in a good location. We had an excellent cleaning lady, Efi, who spoke very good English and even provided us with her home made wine! Thanks, Efi. ....Have heard unofficially that Thomson will not be featuring these apartments next year ... or any other places in Alikes. If this is correct, we think you are making a wrong decision, we met many coples who have been there year after year and we agree with them that Alikes is the best place on the island if you like a rural location and not much night life. Please think again Thomson or we will have to use a rival tour operator!!

We went with Portland Direct, a branch of Thomsons. Our apartment was not what we expected, very noisy, but our rep Cathy, was brilliant and did her best to move us to a less noisy one. We would travel with them again.

we have been traveling with thomson holidays for 5 years twice a year, does that say it all.

From our point of view Thomsons organisation was just about perfect. They did not put a foot wrong.

I really enjoyed my hol with Thomson Freestyle it was banging.Our reps Steve and Lou in Hotel Laganas were the best they made our holiday magic.I will definateley be going again with them in the near future.Thonks alot guys
