Millennium Pool Bar

Dont know whether you will remember me but i  was in zante  for a week starting from the 16th august , short southener with long dark hair , used to hang about with lee and ged ? always looked like she had a hangover .black shorts red bikini? lol! Just had to say that this place did pretty decent bacon sarnies , people were really friendly- Joe  is a TOP lad and missing all the guys like crazy. Thanks for making my last night amazing and definately coming back next year so you aint seen the last of me and some crazy nights in flame !

Hi ya everyone. Its Shona, i was staying in the abandoned appartments across from the millenium lol. Im already counting the days till we come bk and i promise i will stop by to say hi. Hope tiaras ok u better look after my cat while im gone lol. 10/10 coz your always friendly and lovely to chat to. Sorry i didnt get 2 say goodbye we left in the morning and you werent there. we had the best time ever. steph, joe, baby joe (hee hee), tanya and stefan were all so friendly and helpful. the pool was fab the brekkies were great and the drinks in the evening were, well pretty damn good. you will have a great time here, we will be back.

Well just thought i'd say hello and not long till myself and amanda come back over to annoy ye all!!!!just over 2 and a half months to go so i suggust ya nail everything down!!!!!haha!!!! we have plenty in store to keep stefan & Joe busy for 2 very long weeks!!!!Joe if you've got a moped again this year i suggest ya hide it or it's going to get pimped paddy style!!!haha!!! nice to see jonny still has amanda's hat he must really miss us!!!!!anyway roll on the 25th of August!!!!!

Hellooo, Dis is the best pool bar on the island! I jus got home today  but im comin back in August to stay in one of der apartments for 3-4 weeks!! All da ppl there are ded nice n friendly...Joe, Joe, Steph, Stefen ( I'll beat ya at Pool in August!  ), Tanya an Charlotte! Steph's breakfasts' are da best on the island and her chips too ! I'de recommend this Pool Bar to every1 dat is gona go to Zante, Alikanas! Its da Best..Da Pool's ded clean...free cusioned sunbeds, free PS2 to play on, free pool table, free dart board! Anyway, I'll cya all in August, Look forward to seein ya all! Oh n Steph, if ya readin dis...Tell Stefen to get practicin on that Pool Table coz im gona beat him when i get back!

I stayed at Millennium apartments last year and they're really nice.  Bath with shower above, very clean, quiet, air con, great position.  Anything else you need to know, ask away.

Staying there for 3 weeks in June, need I say more

Me and me friend(sonia) came over last september and stumbled across the millennium pool bar, we found it to be the best bars in the neighbouring area. stephs breakfast sorts out a hangover in the morning and one of joe's gorgeous cocktails polished it off in the evenings!!

hi to all in the millennium pool bar. i had an absolute brill time in alykanas espically due to the friendly staff in the pool bar. joe and steph looked after us so well top marks 10 outta 10. Stephs bacon rolls helped sort out the hangovers and joe always had a smile for us. i cant forget joe junior top man always smilin and havin a laugh thanx for the h5 o cocktails and the 10 litre fish bowl of sex on the beach it hit the spot ( although i did need help with that!!! ). last but not least i have to mention chris one of the nicest lads i hav ever met i had a smashing time!!!! ha ha. this bar is a must visit for anyone in the resort you will go back again and again. thanx a mill fopr everything. miss you all and hopefully i will c you all next year. lots of luv amanda xxx

Hi steph and joe, sorry we missed you on our last night, to anyone visiting Alikanas you must pay this couple a visit, the breakfast is absolutely wonderful, the pool is very very clean and the staff very very friendly. They are just wonderful people. see you soon julie and shortie williamsxx

 What a difference a year makes?? Got back Fri had a great time Joe and Steph and the boys were great could not do enough for you gernuine friendly lot. The pool was clean the food great

What a cracking pool bar this is located on the main road near to Plessas Palace & Katerinas kitchen. The bar and pool are run by a lovely couple Joe & Steph and their son Joe, & Chris ( Kindy ) The pool looks absolutely great and there are plenty of sun beds to laze away your days over looking the mountains.

If you're looking for a yummy full english then look no futher, this one certainly hits the mark, if it's cocktails that take your fancy  then the topless barmen Joe & Kindy will provide all the necessarys, even their own concoctions which suprisingly are very good.

Newley open pool and bar, British, family run and very friendly. Food is lovely especially their cooked breakfasts. The family are very helpful, polite and nice to chat to. They also have sky sports for you footie fans! and free pool table.

just got home yesterday bar is up and running the family are great just had word now the pool is full and being used already we are hoping to go back in oct and cant wait we have spent hours at the pool over the past few wears and looking forward to spending many many more GO LUCK TO YOU ALL

Well, it was good to be back "again" Still the same faces but was just as we left it.

Just a general question this, last went to zante in 2001 on honeymoon and met nikos and saffron who ran the millenium bar, do they not own it anymore?

It was great to be back and great to see both brian and nigel again,the bar was just as we left it a few weeks earlier, rocking. hope to see you both next year. dont take any notice of the nockers they are on a different planet. we go to enjoy ourselves, morning noon and night, after all we are on our holidays.

One of the English proprietors, Nigel, was drunk and impolite most of the time. Only a dozen or so people frequented this bar and pool at any one time. The music was mainly Robbie Williams played at unacceptably loud levels, and during siesta hours. Furthermore, wild rats of considerable proportion run freely around the back of the premises near the George studios. The bar is generally recognised - as is the behaviour of the pissed Nigel - as a nuisance by others in the vicinity i.e. by locals and ex-pats alike. Apparently - and perhaps fortunately for the business of Alikanas which is not thriving - the pissed Nigel and his partner will be closing. Long live the real Greece. We stayed with Manos this year and far preferred the pool at Plessa's Place nearby.

Spent a lot of time at this extremely well run establishment. Pool and surroundings were always very clean. Nikos, Saffron and their staff are to be commended for the excellent service they provide.

A very pleasant and extremely well run bar. They have a fantastic pool that is spotlessly clean and very quiet even when all the sunbeds are in use. The staff are very friendly but won't tolerate any misbehaviour from children or adults. The music was very pleasant, not too loud, and the children loved the using the pool table which only cost 3 Euros for half an hour.

Spent many days here as there are always sunbeds available and the food is very good - especially the salads. Good service and nice pool too.

Nikos, (the bar owner) will always make you feel welcome. He is engaged to an english woman(saffron) who is a qualified nursery nurse. During the day you can relax by the pool whilst the kids are taken care of by saffron and her team. They offer lots of different services from island trips to baby sitting in the evening. This bar and pool are definitely worth a visit.

Gorgeous beach......low key nightlife, but enough to do......very, very Greek!!!!!
