gday people, Its jess the aussie barman from last year here. Just a quick shout out to all the party animals from 2004. We had a great time and we are all missing that mad place. We hope to be back next year and bring the australian vibe back to Zante. Hope everyone is well and thumbs up for the Avalon.

had some fab nites in Avalon kissing propa stinkers on the bar!!!!! had the best time eva shotting the strawberries and cream and submarines. Have to have an Avalon cocktail they r propa lush and get u STINKIN if u drink enough.

Try a submarine they are they best ever for getting drunk as we found out!!!

avalon was the best bar in argassi! the staff are very friendly and will do anything for u! especially lining up the shots of after 8 and strawberries and cream (well nice) us mad geordie lasses will be back nxt yr to dance on the bar and get the crowds in again and get mortal!

Avalon was the best bar by far!  Loving the King Arthur cocktails, as well as the Red Herrings!

This place looks cool from outside and looks cool inside too. They have many theme nights on and seems to be a popular choice with certain bar staff from other bars too. Definately recommended. 8/10

Only came in here one night, but it was a great laugh, as the staff from Legends were in too.  Nice bar, better than its previous incarnation, The Wreck.  If you're in Argasi, drop in!  They have plenty of theme nights on so its something a bit different too.  8/10

Avalon bar was great! The aussie guys were really friendly and helped us when we needed them...(long story!) Very nice cocktails and gave us a great first night to start off our holiday. Would definetly recommend it, and when we come back next summer we'll be back in there drinking! Music was also chessy but good to hear!

Looks great, but wasn't too keen on the music-too much of the chessy 80's! Drinks were nice and cheap tho!

Just wanted to say thanks to Mike and the all the guys for making our holiday. (Gave me plenty of ideas for the bar in Windsor!!) A special thanks to the gorgeous Andy(shame about Tuesday night though). And thanks to Jess for being a good boy and restoring our faith in men!!

this place looks great outside and in, set out great one problem, the g*y aussie dj who needs to take sum tips on dj-ing coz he was s**t. was better when the other guy was on "slim boy fat". drinks were good and cheap i recommend the two shots on special for 2 euro,
the jellybaby shot and the mars bar shot v.nice. i only went here early on wen the place wasnt really full, but as the night goes on i heard it fills to the max.

Awesome place to go. The rap off's between scott and jesse were quality. The DJ setting up cool games and stuff every night & all the people dancing on the bar. You can't go wrong with this place. Go there and avalon drink !!

Had a really great time, didnt want to leave really missing dancing on the bar every night, and the great cocktails that Laura and I got extremely drunk on nearly every night!!!!!!!! Ned and Jesse were the best looking bar men in Zante!!! I will leave Scott for Laura!!

Really wasn't for us, like a teenage Disco ! D.J. was pretty amusing though.

I thought the DJ played utterly cheesy music, the drinks were awfull (sweet without ice cubes) and the guys were sunburned and pissed. NOT classy! The guys who worked at the bar were really nice though! But the place was not something i would wanna visit again.

wow, what a wicked wicked wicked place to go! we found this bar on our first night in zante and never looked back, jess, scott, nena and ian r so cool and really friendly! plus on our first and second nights, jess and scott (the (v fit) bartenders!!) took it in turns to get up and strip on the bar! if that isnt a reason to go then i dont no what is! we also learned the famous kangaroo dance, and a few other australianisms! will b back in august for sure!! hope evryone is cool and jess and jaden had really good 22nd birthdays....!;0)

Avalon is wicked. A great place to be entertained. Slim Boy Fat is a top guy, the best DJ in Zante, & very, very funny, he places the most bangin' tunes on the island. The bar staff are soooooooo cool. Especially those Aussies Jess & Scott. Keep on battling with those raps. I've only been back home for a day & already want to go back. "Sheffield" will be back, very soon I hope.

We have just got back from Zante (Argassi) and loved every minute. We loved this bar, full of entertainment, Fat boy slim (DJ) was excellent and soon got the crowd going - even if he did make me dance on the bar!! - Free shot, so worth it :o). The two aussie bar men were great, the rap being the best.. very talented. This bar is a must to visit, you will laugh and dance all night...

Big shout out to All the Bar Staff/DJ/Management there!!! I worked there last summer and had a absolutely brilliant brilliant time there. This bar is the No.1 place to be in Argassi.

We always had a great laugh there - our customers always left at the end of the night happy, smiling, tired from the dancing and pissed!

I can personally guarantee a fantastic night out here and I can't even begin to remember all the Thank You's we had for making our customers holiday.

I'm very sad not to be going back (high powered career going on in the UK and all that - yeah right) but should be over end of summer 2004 and looking forward to seeing everyone again!

if your visiting argassi - this is the place to visit, brilliant DJ, bar staff and always busy. Spent most of our nights there last summer, an unforgettable exerience.

Anyone tinking of going to argassi this summer has to go to the avalon bar.We went every night of our holiday and we had the best time thanks to the best DJ on the island 'IANO' (as we called him).Don't know if you remember us ian but we were 6 irish girls who use to dance on the bar and chant your name 'iano, iano'.This is just a little note to say thanks to you and the barstaff.We had a ball and will definatly be back.So beware!!!

Hi I came here last year with my boyfriend and this place was excellent! This is the place to have fun, other places in the resort were filled with 12yr olds and this place kept it real! The music was good if you like cheesy 80's and drinks were quite expensive (they were stingy on the measures but you knew it was the real stuff, not cheap alcohol) and bar staff were fantastic and entertaining. The girls were the best fun. There was a barman but he totally loved himself and I saw him at least 4 times get the girls in his car! Tip for the girls: LOTS of sexy lads hang out there!

oooh im so happy that there is a massage board thing for avalon now coz i want to say that me&my friends thought it was great! ian- you and this bar made our holiday in august last year, you probably wont remember us but we were known to you as the 6 scottish girls!? we came in pretty much every night and forced you to play all the hiphop and r&b! i would put my photos on this but theyre all pretty dark and are of us playing the icecube game on the bar so dunno if i want them on public display! adam- me& one of my friends pam came back in Sept when u were there- u texted me at some point when i was home. anyway, hope youre all fine, would love to work in argassi this year but cant do the whole season so a holiday will have to do!see you in the Summer...

well at last they finnaly updated this site after th 20 emails i sent to get us on the map!!!! well boys and girls the party season is almost upon us and avalon is going to be such a cool place to do your partying. not only that we still have the family play pit out the back we definatly will be supporting all our teams involved in domestic and of course the euro championships with big warm up partys planned for all englands big games, and we have more fun outrageous bar games , live enetertainment and of course Nena and mysel Ian will be back giving it the larg'n for Avalon 2004 big shuts going to all that came to see us and supported us last year , ive seen loads of you and you say what a fantastic time you had with us well we enjoyed it too and we want you all to come back for more. i dj'ed there between september and mid october. Took over from Ian who wasn't well. had a top time made good friends with all staff who were really supportive
Had lots of fun with the super soakers,(i was soaked that often my swimming trunks became uniform)
really enjoyed the time in 2003 that i was there. hope to come back if only for a holiday.
