I am coming to Zante (Argassi) with 3 more adults for one week starting on September 6th. Do we need to book Zakfari in advance? or can we book up once we have arrived.

This is a fabulous place. We stayed in the apartments and were very impressed and we had maid service every day. The pool was great and there were always sunbeds available. The food and drink from the pool bar was excellent and reasonably priced. We would not hesitate to recommend this place !!

The view from this taverna is great. Shame that the food and service did not match it !!

Don't go here !! We were rushed through our dinner - the waiters were clearing away plates before others in our party had finished. Food was average but they had a couldn't care less attitude

What a great place this is. Wonderful food, very friendly service and extremely cheap prices !! Try the Greek night when you will be made to get up and join in OPPA !!!!!

Quite a nice place if a bit "touristy".

Had a very nice meal here. Nice garden and the "dancing" fountain was fantastic.

This is one of the best restaurants - if you can find it - tucked away just past the Red Lion. Try the trout for starters and if there are 2 of you I would HIGHLY recommend the mixed grill !! Lovely surroundings, excellent staff and very reasonable prices - EXCELLENT

This place was OK but only if you managed to get one of the nice tables along the front. We sat nearer the back overlooking the square below and had music from all directions - not good. Food OK, prices good

Another from teetotal Scottish day, which was fantastic. We rode with James and had a really mad drive at times. Loved the stories - dirty den, giant, horse and shipwreck although we never saw the bald penguins !! The final swim was amazing - never swum in water which went from hot to cold !! Loved the view from the mountain top - loved the whole day. YOU MUST DO THIS TRIP !!!

Loved this beach. Saw a baby turtle struggle to reach the sea which was FAB!! Strange sight was a man taking a pet fish for a swim - very weird.

Very nice beach with a great taverna up on the rocks. Only trouble was getting the bus from Argassi to here - scrum down and push your way on !! Lovely sea, crystal clear, but some seaweed spoilt it a bit

We had a round the island boat trip. Stopped at the shipwreck along with about 6 other boats, so the beach was FULL of people. I say beach but it's NOT sandy - be warned. Sea was lovely to swim but slopes very quickly so has strong waves on the edge. I say this because my wife lost a ring from her finger in the surf. Best part of the trip was swimming in the caves off the coast of Keri - superb!!

I thought it would be hot and sunny every day without a cloud in the sky. We were there for 14 days and 3 were like that. However it didn't spoil the holiday one bit. Great thunderstorms during that day (only lasted about an hour) and amazing electrical storms at night, lighting up the whole sky. Sunday 15th was the worst when it rained for nearly the whole day but as we were in Zante town drinking under a cafe umbrella, who cared? Bets of all - very few kids around !!!

Rimmer - we are going to Corfu this year - do you run safaris there?
