the apartments were very clean but basic, the whole building was very lovely though, all marble flooring (be careful when it has been raining though - VERY slippery) and we were very pleased with the whole package. only thing not so good was JMCs services. as some people have not yet written, do not go on the day trips with them, they are WAY over priced compared to what you can get from the people on the streets offering, probably better, trips.
This bar was alright. we spent our time upstairs on the first few nights when we went there but after discovering the rest of argassi we realised it wasnt as lively as some of the other stuff going on but i think it may have been a little bit cheaper. bar men very nice, got lots of free drinks ;) and i also advise you to try he chocolate orgasm!
I am having to find a compromise between the Nad-Adele argument, i agree with what some of what each is saying, but my honest opinion of the factory is that it really is very good. maybe not as good as any english clubs but certainly the best (well, the only) one in argassi. as for the barmen not speakling english - er, they did to me! they are very funny, as was emilio - v.entertaining. and yess most of the clubbers are about 15-16 (the girls) but there are also a lot of older people (eg one night i saw an 80yr old in there having a jive!!) my advice would be to go quite late (it doesnt usually hot up untill 11:30) and just get up and dance if its quiet - people will follow your example. take a lot of money (after happy hour the drinks become v.expensive) but wnjoy as they have lots of theme nights - kareoke, beach, cowboy etc. certainly the best place for music and clubbing in argassi, i loved it !! :)
i agree with julie, great place to just sit...but thats all you do really. the music is not at great standards (despite 'westlife free zone' signs hanging everywhere, boyzone was still played often) as a lot of it is quite old stuff but at least its not as repetative as some of the other bars. quite expensive but not too bad. and yes, the dance floor is always empty but they have a big screen which is great for the footy. the bar dancing competition was somethign i was roped into, but unfortunately did not win (damm, lol) so it is good for a laugh.
The beach is not as bad as people are making. there is no 'beachy' bit to it - no room for sand and so therefore no SANDcastles, but the actual sea is lovely, very clean and great to swim in and look at all the fish. its noce for just a change from your pool if you are right next to the sea as we were, but its not like spend a day there - more like and hour or so.
was a good beach but my experience there was not so good. unless you get there early enough to get a sunbed WITH shade, you will not enjoy the day as you will just BAKE. the sea seems a lot saltier than at other beaches (was this just my imagination or is this possible?!!) and everyone sems so ood at volleyball! damm those greeks!
the chemists was very good as i had a throat infection and antibiotics were prescribed with out even having to see a doctor. they worked but were expensive so be prepared to pay if you want the cure!!
we did this in argassi and seeing as its not exactly laganos...the bars arn't much to see. we left our reps and went off on our own, only to see them later with only about 1/4 of the original group! and looking slighty worse for wear! if its your first night then go for it but if its not dont bother with the reps, you'll have more fun on yer own going where you want to. and if u go out the same night u can just follow them and have the same fun without paying the rip off price every1 else did! genius!! haha
really was very good speed, staff, amount of computers, the lot - excellent. the price was 2 euros for 15 mins which was alright. great way for keeping in touch with home!
