canany one advice me whether the kalamaki beach hotel is suitable to take kids too aged 6 ,4 and is there anough in kalamaki to keep them amused in the evenings..please emails to jrpotsy@aol.com

not been to zante for 12 years ,but by the sounds of it ,its stil the best place on earth ,getting old now going to kalamaki with the wife and kids ,tried spain,canaries,turkey,but theres no place like zante..you will come back again and again ....roll on may,,is that takeaway still their in laganas selling soulaki or chicken and chips?

is zeros still there ,and parrots quiet bar,an old zante frequenteter

ive just been reading the reports on zante ,and ive not noticed one bad report ,not been since i was single 12 years ago ,is it the same beutiful island as is was then,i am taking my wife and 2 young kids to kalamaki in may for a quiet break ...is this possible,,loved laganas years ago

flights to zante are dearer than booking a package ..ive just booked a week on the 6th may 2 adults and 2 kids at kalamaki for £530 it would of cost me more than £800 for flight only try www.manos.co.uk or www.uk.mytravel.co.uk who i booked with ..also got my insurance with 1ststopinsurance for £22 for the 4 of us ..£552 for a family at the caretta beach hotel ..BARGAIN

just got back from the caretta ,anyone going will truly enjoy,happy hour 4-6 two pints for 2 euro ,staff brilliant especially yiannis,the man is a good laugh and treats you like his best mate,bar and shop prices very good ,never felt like i was ripped off once,they even have a free pizza night for the guest,the manager thomas,is also very freindly and helpful,and the owner shakes your hand every time you pass him,everyone really freindly and stayed in the hotel most nights as did a lot of the other guest,apartments very clean and spacious ,theres actually 2 pool areas with bars,one with music and lively atmosphere and the other for a quiet life away from the kids ,we went with two young kids and they loved it too

MADE THIS OUR STOP OFF ,EVERY NIGHT AFTER HAVING OUR MEAL ,FAIRLY CLOSE TO THE CARETTA HOTEL ,VERY FRIENDLY STAFF ,PLENTY OF FOOTBALL,AND A POOL TABLE ..DONT BE PUT OFF WITH THE NAME ITS NOT FULL OF DRUNKS ,JUST COME BACK FROM KALAMAKI ,BAR PRICES 2.5 EURO FOR COCKTAILS 2 EURO LARGE BOTTLE BEER ..1.2 FOR KIDS COKES ETC..AND ONLY 1 EURO FOR POOL ON A MASSIVE TABLE

CALLED IN THIS BAR ONCE ,DURING THE DAY THERE WAS ONLY 2 PEOPLE IN ,I KNOW KNOW WHY CHARGED ME 3.0. EUROS FOR A PINT AND 2 EUROS EACH FOR WATER.MY HOTEL WAS ONLY 2 A PINT AND 60 CENTS FOR WATER..NEVER SEEN MANY IN ALSO SNACKS VERY DEAR A NO GO

great food ..great staff..great menu..great prices ..kids chicken nuggets for 1.5 euro ,highly recommend a little slow on meal coming ,but its freshly cooked and very good portion, meales from 5 euro

just back from kalamaki,only went here once on the last night through recommendation ,only wish we gone earlier ,the staff make a big fuss over kids and they even get free drinks with their meals,we met a family and went with them..5 adult meals..3 kids meals..5 large beers..3 cokes ..2 ice creams..waiters teaching you greek lingo and fussing the kids..the bill came to 52 euros for eight of us ..gave them 60 with a tip ,well worth it..and the food was as good as anywhere with a large variety,

just got back from kalamaki .dont book this trip with your rep,loads of places 15 euros and 7.50 for the kids nice trip but i didnt spot a turtle maybe too early in season

a taxi from the airport to dennys inn should cost no more than 12 euros,youll be there in 10 mins ,ask the driver for a price first and he may drop it to 10 if you haggle a little

alan ,cashpoints are safe to use ,but if i was you id take stirling cheques or english cash,there is no commission charge ,i went in may and was getting 143 -144 euro.however euro cheques will carry commission charges of 1 or 2 %

i crave for this place,the best hotel in zante,you will have the best time of your life...freindly staff,clean,good food,cheap beer.AND CONGRATULATIONS ON REACHING THE FINAL, WISH I WAS THERE FOR SUNDAY,TO CHEER ON YOU LOVELY PEOPLE

great brekky one of the best in kalamaki

didnt stay here ,but used the pool bar ,very often...very cheap food and drinks,and happy hour 8-12pm,very friendly,a family of four can have a snack ,burger etc and drinks for less than a tenner

brilliant hotel,been 5 times now...pity the scotch manager no longer there as the new one is a bit full of herself
