Well i am off to the sirene on thursday cant wait, not going to let the past comments put me off,i am sure one persons bad holiday is another persons good one, life would be boring if we all thought the same..........will let you all know how much i enjoyed it when i return
Hi claire have you read the reviews on the natalie...i found it under the database search on main zante page laganas then hotels and search.I am off this thurs to kalamaki cant wait never been to zante before so loking forward to it,hope you have a good time
well i am in kalamaki at the moment and yes the sirene is a bit out of the way but i have timed our family walking to the start of the village as i will call it and it takes 10 minutes at a steady pace and 20 to the beach the apartments are spacious but basic but what do we want in a foreign country 5 star ....well if thats what you want go to london and pay the price.i cant comment on the past comments but i did say i would lrt you know how i got on and i am having a fab time a holiday is what you make it..yes i have heard dogs and cockrels but not to the point that it drives you mad and you want to move, once i am sleeping i dont hear a thing and i am quite a light sleeper..come try it for yourself.the managers of this place will do what they can to help you if there are any problems.our rep rachael is great what more can i say........YAMAS
we tried many places to eat and found this to be the worst...we were recomended to try here which we did and found the food and service very poor,we all have our own opinions so dont let this put you off try it for yourself
well what can i say...the food and service here was fab no complaints at all, good prices also good house wine
Tried both breakfast and evening meal here and although it was nice i would say we had just as good food in other places...maybe we hit a bad day but we waited nearly an hour for breakfast and had to ask for our table to be cleared.this was one of the most expensive places for evening meal but still cheap in comparison to the uk so cant complain.
we tried this place after many good reports and found it to be average, yes they were helpful when my daughter did not enjoy the lasagne and they changed it with no extra cost but we found it to be very busy so the personal touch was not there. We had a three course meal which all came one after the other no time to draw breath a bit rushed in our opinion.Think this place is a bit over rated
we were at the sirene last year and we had an upper apartment that faced directly on pool and main road it was a two bedroom...next door was a three bedroom has anyone got any info on this apartment and what it was like?the last one we were in had a new tv on the wall but not connected, thought they might have been updating the place for this year, any info appreciated
Thanks Lisa,
Hi Lisa,
Hi Lisa,
Hi Lisa
Hi Michelle,
we are going back in july this year with our two kids who absoloutely loved this place but they are a bit older and did tend to be happy with the swimming pool, there is a tv in the bar area which showed cartoons but there is no kids club or anything that we saw anyway and we were pretty friendly with the manos rep who never mentioned any regular activities for younger ones although they did hold a party night which was all for the kids dancing and face paints etc this was a free night offered through tour rep in one of the local bars ours was at grabana grus (not sure of spelling)and all the kids had a fab time and the sirene hold a Greek night which was great and karaoke. A walk to the beach takes about 20 minutes. Most bars in the village same distance have kids computer/video games which our kids used to enjoy in the evenings. The Sirene is a good place to meet lots of new people i am sure your daughter wont be without friends for long and yourself, it a nice small complex so you tend chat to most people...well i did, being scottish and all,ha ha. Anything else i can help just yell out...............DeniseHi is this the bar that does the laundry service if it is what is the cost and for what kind of load....cheers
Hi Jane,
Well arrived home on Thursday another great week had at the Sirene, The Family are fantastic and make you really welcome, its so laid back great for a chill out week. Yes there is no entertainment the apartments are basic it is a long walk to the beach you do get early morning calls from the local animals but you know what we still like it, you get what you pay for, if you want 5* then pay for it, coming to Greece is not what I call 5* but a thoroughly enjoyable place, Apartment Complex is small so you get to meet lots of other people who you get to know really well even in a week, Its sad that the Sirene has been taken out Holiday Brochures for next year but I will certainly be looking to book Direct Another year over, Thanks to Greg, Timmy, Liri, Norah,Nico and the boys hope you will all be there in 2010.
Hi know the sirene was going on its own this year or so greg said at end of last season, anybody any info cheers Denise
