Every night my family had to walk pass "Tiffanys", and we dreaded it! Every night we would try and run past the annoying "Peter" but he would always manage to catch up with us and try to make us go in, but we always made up excuses and as a result he gave up hassling us and we never ate there. My advice is to just say "no thankyou", as it seemed to work for us and he stopped hassling us in the end! We heard lots of bad comments from other tourists though, and apparently when you eat there, they hassle you to finish your meal and leave as soon as possible!
I returned home from Argassi yesterday. My family and I stayed at the "Villa Denise" and we loved it. Argassi is a fantastic resort to stay in, its close to Zante town, it has plenty of bars and restaurants to keep everyone entertained, although the beach is a bit of a let down.
I would recommend the "Beer Academy" as the best bar, as it has a great range of cocktails, reasonably priced drinks, pool tables and music. "Picadilly" was my favourite restaurant, as one of the waiters there was really hot!!!
Whatever you do, try to avoid "Tiffanys" - the guy who stands outside is really annoying and will try to hassle you into eating there, when its really nothing special!
The meal was OK, and the spelling mistakes for some dishes eg "Scambi", kept us entertained!! Not worth going back a second time though
Just returned from "Villa Denise" in Argassi. My family really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were friendly and the maid service was good. The only thing that I could complain about would be that people reserved the sunbeds by putting towels on them at night, and as there were only a few of them, this was quite annoying sometimes, as the ones that were left didn't catch the sun until after noon. A fab two weeks!!
