We stayed at the Elpida appartments w/c 5 June 2005 and stayed in the old block, room 301. Although basic,our room was clean and spacious, had a lovely terrace with a view over the pool. The room is right by the main road in Alykanas, I found it a bit noisy at night from the mopeds going past but my fiance did not hear a thing!

If you are staying at the Elpida appartments, you have to walk past this restaurant to get to the main part of Alykanas.

I went on the tourist train a few years ago and really enjoyed it. We are going back to Alykanas this year, but cannot remember where you book this from? Also, how do you go about booking the greek night as we did not go on it last time we were there.

Thanks for your help Hayley. Do you happen to know if there is somewhere in Alykanas to book the trip as I am sure we booked it from there last time. If not, it is no big deal walking up to Alykes to book.

We had such a great time at the Tipsy Toad, we were in there most nights doing the quizzes and went there some times in the day to watch the films.

We had two lovely meals in this restaurant and the staff were really friendly. Also good prices and Nikos gave us free wine, free ice cream and 10% off our bill, which was really nice.

We had two excellent meals here and went there for our last meal and went all out and had a three course meal and it was delicious. The staff were so friendly and I just could not fault the place, there were six of us and all of us agreed this was by far the best restaurant.
