Cave Bar - (Bars in Kalamaki)

We went to the cave bar 3 times while we was in kalamaki and we have a lovely time. the owner and his son are very nice people. as so are the waitresses. i would recommend to anyone going to kalamaki to try the cave bar the atmosphere is just wonderfull.. It sure is a beautifull view in the evenings.

Hi to danny and nick and the other waiter and the shef. Just to say our food was excellent every time including the steaks from the bbq steak house. The food is excellent as with the service. This is far the best restaurant in kalamaki.

Hi to all we won a meal for two from down under the best bar in kalamaki. we had sweet and sour chinese and egg fried rice and spare ribs and the meal was absolutley georgeous. i would recommend jamuna please try the food.

Mermaids - (Restaurants in Kalamaki)

Hi we ate at mermaids again this year about 4 times. the food was lovely. The service is very good and the waiters and waitresses very friendly and will do anything to help you. I had chicken fillet twice and you gets load of it. but my best meal was the cod and chips and the lamb chops was georgeous. would definatley recommend mermaids.

hi to bev maria and the owner not sure of his name and all the other staff.. just want to say a big thankyou once again for all your kindness. we have a fantastic holiday again for the second year. my parents and sister came over on our second week and really enjoyed it too. the food is excellent. but we didnt make it for breakfast too many late nights. any way thanks to you all for a brilliant time again.

hi george its me again just want to say i cant belive people can say the things they have said about down under. its a fantastic bar and there is never been any drugs or anything. like you say they are just down right jealous. there is no one in kalamaki to touch down under. you are all fantastic and we miss you loads george. but kim nicko and antonis make up for it they are fantastic as is your lovely mum and dad . take care darling love deb and chris

Well i would just like to say that my husband and i came back to dennys for the second time this year and we had a brilliant time. Last year was the first time we came to kalamaki and we loved it. we absolutley love the place and dennys inn, the staff and owners are lovely and they made us so welcome like rosie and other people have said they make you feel like family. William well what can i say you must have been on another planet not kalamaki. your comments were down right rude and disgusting and offensive to other holiday makers and especially the hotel and staff. everyone has a right to express their views but without being offensive to others. all i can say is its a damn good job that i wasnt there when you was. thankgod you wont be going back to kalamaki the people who live there or other holiday makers dont deserve anyone like you.

First Choice - (Tour Operators in Zante)

We have been travelling with first choice for the last 4 years and must say luckily we have never had a bad expierence. Last year we went to zante for the first time and the rep elaine was fantastic best rep ever. we stayed at dennys inn it was fantastic.. we came back this year but sadly elaine is now working in the office our rep this year was james he was lovely too. from booking our holidays online to flights everything was brilliant. flights always left on time and sometimes earlier stewards and stewardesses were lovely too. As for people moaning about the airport like someone said its not the reps fault at all they do a damn good job getting everything under control. as i said first choice are brilliant

Laganas Resort - (Resorts in Zante)

hi just reading some of the comments about lagans. i must say that i was dissapointed last year when we spent a day and night there. never again. we stayed in kalamki which isnt far from laganas. i love the night life and been to ibiza a few times but laganas it a nice place but spoilt by all the drunks that p**s on the beach and spu in the street with no respect for other holiday makers and familys, and especially the logcals. even some of the reps came to kalamaki and said they hated the place cus of all the trouble the brits cause when they are drunk. i know we brits love a damn good time but there is toliets to p**s in and spu in. maybe this is the why there is always trouble between the locals and the holiday makers. come on you brits have a damn good p**s up but please dont ruin the reputation of laganas and zante itself

Hi just like to say that i agree with everyone kalamaki is a fantastic place. my husband and i came here last year for the first time we had a brilliant time. so we came back this year again and we have booked up to come back next year in june. and we cant wait. we absolutly love the place.

The restuarants and bars are great as are the the staff who work in them and the the locals are brilliant they make you so so welcome.

We stay at dennys in and it was like coming home again this year they are fab. And the same goes for danny and nick in spaggetti o mania. which is our favourite restaurants along with bbq steak house and mermaids. However we are going to try a few more next year. Down under is the best bar in kalamaki its brilliant.

The first time we came to kalamaki and stayed at dennys was june 2004 we had a fantastic time. the staff at dennys are brilliant you couldnt wish for nicer people. They will do anything to make you feel so welcome. And the food is excellent. Your little boy will love it there so will the rest of you. With regards to hiring fridges at dennys they are already in the rooms and is the air con. We went last year for the second time and all you have to do is when you arrive there either bev or maria will ask you if you want to hire the fridge if so you have to pay at reception and when your taken to your room they have a key which unlocks the fridge so you are able to use it. the same goes for the air con. I cant remember how much we payed for both of them last year.

You have made a brilliant choice staying at dennys you will absolutly love it and kalamki we are coming back this year for the 3rd year running.

you will have a great time at dennys and in kalamki. you must go on the boat trip to the shipreck island it is beautifull. or you can go by car or coach. we booked with firstchoice and it was a lovely day. also you can go to the blue caves which again is beautifull. there is lots to do and see.

were going for the 3rd year running we arrive 6th june this year for two weeks, and we are staying at dennys again. hope you all have a wonderfull time.

i hope you enjoy your stay at dennys. this will be out third year running its a lovely hotel. the staff are all brilliant and the food at the snack bar is excellent. bev and maria who work on reception are lovely to. everyone is just so nice and your made to feel so welcome. there is air con and a fridge in the rooms which you have to pay for if you want to use them. dennys is set in a very quite location it is so relaxing the beach is just a walk around the corner so not too far. you can walk to lagana along the beach which is a lovely walk. kalamaki is a beautifull place we love it. there is lots of bars and restuartants and everyone is so lovely.

we fly out tuesday 6th june and i cant wait. i hope you enjoy your stay

Towels are provided in the rooms and they are changed every two days. Hairdyrers and irons are not supplied so you will have to take them with you.

you will absolutley love the place. the hotel is not far from the beach and in a very quite location. bev and maria who work the reception and of course mary are all lovely people and make you feel so welcome. and of course stuart and spiros the owners are absolutly fantastic people all of them cannot do enough for you they are great people. the food is excellent the hotel is lovely and clean dont know what else to say its just a fab place we love it. and each time we come its feels like coming home.

not sure about the weather in september as never been in september but looking at all the reviews its sounds like the weather is still lovely and hot. there is so much to do as well loads of trips to go on and some beautifull sight.

dont go you have the best bar in zante and we love you all so much. we missed kim this year so much especially chris as he didnt get kims legs wrapped around him she is fantastic as all of you are. the first time we walked into your bar 3 years ago was the best holiday ever and so have the lasts 2 years as well.. andonis got us in there and you all kept us there for the hole two weeks.

we are coming back again next year and i do hope that you will all be there nick george kim andonis karl and tassos

its lovely to hear from you and i must say you look great on the photos you have put on the site i still havent got round to putting ours on from our very first hols in zante its one we will never forget it was absolutley fantastic. i have got loads of photos kim i have great one of all of us last year with george i will get them put of definatly. so happy for you that you are loving it back home and that you are studying to be a teacher good on yer darl. well mate i hope down under will be open this season as we fly out two weeks today but we are going to tsillivi this year but we are planing to come over to kalamaki to see everyone.

Hi can anyone please tell me where the best place is in tsillivi to change money if needed. and does anyone know what the exchange rate is over there at the minute as the last 3 years we have been to kalamaki the rate has been much higher than the uk we fly over next tuesday 5th june. and staying in the zante maris and really looking forward to it

hiya everyone at the zante maris especially takis. we had a fab 2 weeks there the hotel the staff and the food is excellent. the rooms are cleaned everyday it is just brilliant.

thankyou for a wonderfull time. and takis thankyou so much for everything. you are brilliant at what you do and a credit to the hotel. thankyou for making us our rolls on tuesday the 19th before we left for the airport.

will definatly see you not next year but the year after.

Hi to the traffic bar.

We came in almost every night only missed 2 nights out of 2 weeks. the service and music is brilliant in the bar the lady that works in there is lovely she is always ready to come and take your order and bring us some peanuts. very friendly in the bar lovely atmostphere and i love it when the barman honks his horn when you go by or when you leave.

you probley wont remember us but we used to sit in the corner for a few nights then we moved to other side of bar facing the bar and i used to big sitting gigging to you music in my chair.

well have a great season and thankyou for the great vodkas !!!!!!! and guiness see you year after next

Myself and husband came here for the first time 4 years ago and we came back for 3 years running and we love the place and the people nick is fantastic and the bar is fantastic to.ive have never been anywhere abroad where you are made so welcome nick george kim andonis everyone is brilliant. i know second year we came george had gone back to oz but he was here the next year we came but kim wasnt. we didnt come over last year but will be back next year for definite.

I cant belive what he has said its a load of b......s nick and everyone are bloody fantastic and so is the bar its the best in kalamaki that is whey we came back 3 years running. last year we went to crete and year before we went tsillivi but came back twice in the two weeks to see nick but they was still reburfishing the place and we cant wait to come back we love the bar and the place.

Anyway courtney maybe we will meet one day over there i will keep in touch... I have some fantastic photos from our 3 years over there but sadly i havent got a scanner anymore so couldnt get them on but iam going to try and get some on and you will see what a fantastic time we had mate.

Well said they are fantastic all of them. Glad you had a great time We came here 3 years on the trot and the fourth year we went to tsillivi but came back twice to see nic unfortuatley they didnt open before we left as nic was reburfishing the place.

hi all

we stayed at dennys in for 3 years on the trot. and we have had a fantastic time each year. the hotel is brilliant the staff are fab. they cannot do enough for you. bev maria and mary are all so lovely people as with stuart spiro and andreas we had 3 great years in this hotel and 4 years in zante. we love the place.

our last year we came 2007 it was our 25th anniversary and bev arranged flowers and wine for me and stuart baked a cake they cannot do enough for you. so hello bev maria mary stuart spiros and adreas thankyou for 3 wonderfull years.

we will be back......
