Hi everyone, just wondering what the prices are for food, drink etc in Kalamaki, I can't seem to find any decent info on this. My holiday brochure guides are a bit varied. Thanks.
Hi there, can anyone tell me where the apartments are in Kalamaki. I know they are on the outskirts, but which direction is that! I have a map showing me where the main hotels and restaurants are, so in relation to any of them would be great! Thanks
Can anyone tell me what excursions/tours Manos do as there is no info on this in the brochure?! Surely Manos can't be that bad cos they are owned by Airtours, which is owned by First Choice and they were brilliant! Thanks
I am just back from my 1st trip to Kalamaki and stayed at the Sirene Apartments. I have to say I was impressed by the standard of cleanliness for Greece and Gregori and his family were the perfect hosts - friendly, talkative and always happy to help with anything! We played about in the pool with his kids some days and it was great! We were in room 32, which viewed on to the grassy area towards the back of the accommodation. Have to say to the moany people who dissed this place to research their holiday choice next time, cos at the end of the day you get what you pay for and what you get for £300 odd is good!! As for the noisy road, it never bothered me and as for the dogs and cockerals, you get used to it, so whats the big deal! You have all day to sleep on the beach and after all, you're on holiday!!!
We thought Manos were great reps. Stepped off the plane and everything was taken care off. Our rep, Clare was great and although we didn't book any trips with her she was pleased to help with any questions we had. Been with Airtours in the past, and they were just as good, cos after all its the same company.
I have only a few words to say to anyone thinking of visiting Zakynthos...stay in Kalamaki! Great food, great people, great nightlife and best of all its cheaper than the Canaries and Spain. You hardly hear any of the planes that land at the airport, so don't listen to your travel agent, and the beach is lovely, crystal clear waters. Will definately be going back there! Roll on June 2006!
One of the first places we visited on our arrival in Zakynthos. The lady who runs this place is really friendly and she certainally knew her stuff! My bf and I own quite a few reptiles, so it was only natural we visited! Held Ross a 40kg python and Coco the parrot who swears a lot in Greek! She also has pacu pirahna, a tame bull snake, 3 iguanas, a couple of tarantulas, a few king snakes, milk snakes etc as well as a 40yr old tortoise and at the moment she has a couple of rescued baby crocs. Seriously at only 6euros per adult to enter, its well worth a couple hours of your time!
