We have just got back from Tsilivi (our third time in 6 years), have to say as the resort has got bigger the beach seems to have become one big ashtray (even though the sunbed owners supply ashtrays) which is a bit of a shame maybe they may think abot raking it soon like some other places in Greece.Other than that once you have got around the fag end problem the beach is great and the sea is brilliant for lazing around on a lilo especially if you don't like water that goes too deep.
Just got back from our 3rd holiday in Tsilivi, been to other places in Greece but others can't compare to Tsilivi if you want a Greek holiday that is commercialised but one where you still feel like you are in Greece with nice tavernas etc this is the place.I can honestly say that we will go back like so many other people do every year.
3rd time in Tsilivi and by far the best accomodation yet for cleanliness and location and also air conditioning. The only downside was the dogs to the left and back of the property who slept all day and then barked through the night whenever a moped passed by(its not the dogs fault they are caged up all day and night and from what we could see never got to stretch their legs at al, they need lessons on how to keep animals over there).Used the pool opposite everyday after the beach and also used the bar for the odd coffee, we always found the staff to be pleasant most helpfull although we could have done without the greek music blaring out some evenings. The shop below was really convenient and was always open.We would definately recommend these studios.
appearance was impressive but food nothing special at all used once wouldn't try again.
Food OK, I had Kleftiko which was nice but unfortunately they forgot about us for a while after ordering but did give us drinks on the house for the inconvenience.
We agree, the guy on the door was a total pain and if he doesn't get a smack one day I'll be surprised it may be his job to get you in there but he may as well try to tie you up and drag you in. Nevertheless we went in 2 times, the first time was OK but the second time my husband and I both have a funny stomach the next morning so beware. The restaurnet itself is the nicest looking but again people may use it more if it wasn't for the "please please" man outside.
Our favorite restaurent, try the spaghetti in the oven, best meal I had. The actual restaurnet itself is really nice and the toilets were clean with a lock on the door(quite novel)
OK is the correct phrase and they need a bigger restaurent to make it comfortable. Most expensive meal we had.
Not the best meal although OK,the worst thing for me was the ladies toilet considering the staff are mainly british would have thought that it may be cleaner.
We went in here last Time we were in Tsilivi and since then it has been modernised and looks great. We went in here every night just seemed the right place to have a relaxing drink thats not too mad unless you want it to be although we did stay in there until closing one night, I think George and Yainnis never thought we would leave. George the owner smiles and says "Llamas" alot, I don't think his english is that good but he makes what we think are the best cocktails in the resort. On the whole a great bar for the whole family.
not a place to go if you want peace and quiet although good for an early evening film.
good for kareoke, we had a couple of good nights in here
We always use Manos, good value for money.Rep (Ruth)this year in Tsilivi was not pushy at all and was quite honest, quite refreshing. Would recommend Manos if you want a reasonably priced holiday and even our flight times were goods this year
