Litsa Studios - (Accommodation in Tsilivi)

Emma T

I stayed at Litsa Aug 01 and found it OK - basic but serves its purpose and is close enough to beach, pool (at Sandy Maria) and bars/restaurants. Watch out for mosquitos though - not all the windows have mosquito nets so make sure you buy some spray or a plug-in on the first day or you'll be eaten alive. Also stock up on toilet roll because the cleaner won't bring you any new rolls. And take your own towels as the ones provided are tiny. The shared pool at Sandy Maria is absolutely excellent and has a bar attached.

Reportage - (Bars in Tsilivi)

Emma T  (14 August 2001)

This is a fun, busy bar but with plenty of tables and had the best music of all the 'dancing bars'. Most of the cocktails were lovely but don't have a margerita as they make it with lemon syrup instead of lime/lemon juice - yuk. Also if you want to dance do it early as things tend to go a bit dead after 12.30pm (that goes for all the 'dancing' bars)

Moby Dick - (Restaurants in Tsilivi)

very good food by greek standards - the chicken slouvaki is wonderful and they do the best tomato salad in tsilivi Good for kids because there's a play area to keep them amused in the evenings, avoid if you don't like kids running around while you're trying to relax though

The hummus is the best I've ever tasted. Quite good for veggie options too

Tassos is very friendly and was happy to let me and my mates behind the bar to raid his CD collection and change the music!
