Also known as "The Lemon Tree" We were staying at Alykanas Beach Studios and Appts from 14th May - 28th May 2006 and were gutted we only went to this restuarant once. We went there on a Thursday "Live Music Night", of our 2nd week. We travelled in a free horse and carriage and sat in the picturesque garden area. The food was excellent especially the starters(Calamari & Grilled garlic prawns , followed by the roast lamb and chicken a la creme.) The live entertainment was a Bazouki/Guitar duo who were both friendly and very good. Probably the best meal we had on our holiday, definately worth it, even though we did wait a while for the bill, but you do anyway don't you !

Returned following a weeks holiday (12th July 06), this time we stayed in Alykes but made sure we visited Dilemas again. Thanks to Sakis for getting us back to Alykes in the early hours and saving us a long drunken walk back from Alykanas  Shame England never made the World cup Semi's but had a great time again.... see you in Sept hopefully xxxx Bev and Julian

Got back from a weeks stay in Alykes after staying in Alykanas earlier in the year and again enjoyed every part of our holiday. Went to the Sugarbush to watch the World cup final with our adopted dog. (Hope the lady running this bar raises the money needed to help save and nueter the strays). Had a great evening in the bar chatting to the ex-pats and cheering with the Italian couple when they won- mmm free champagne see you in Septemper we hope .....Bev and Julian

Stayed in Alykes for a week (4th - 12th July 06) Had a good laugh in the Jungle Bar chatting to Demitri about his mate Sakis (Dilemas - Alykanas), Friendly atmosphere great staff, great cocktails and lots of free shots (If you tell him he looks like Jesus!!) Now I can't remember if we said the bar was very "ambient" but I'm sure Demitri seemed to like the word lol. Hope to be back Sept 06....Bev and Julian

returned to zante (alykes) for a week (4th july -12th july) after getting the holiday blues after our 2 week stay in may (alykanas) and couldn't resist going back to flame bar, couldn't believe they recognised us from our earlier stay - we only went there once before!!! but then again my boyfriend did sing non-stop karaoke for shots last time!!!!, sang a few songs had a great laugh then went to the club behind flame and crashed out lol. big hello to the derby girls we met jo and amanda. x bev and julian

Got back from a weeks stay 4th July - 12th July and stayed at the Apollo. Situated far end by the salt flats, Nice room with air con, nice deep pool and bar thats open until the early hours (great measures!!!), quiet part of Alykes great for when you want to sleep at night, and only 5mins into town or beach. Very clean appartment (Maid was lovely - Favorite word "OK" ). Nice on-site donkey (likes an apple). Usually stay in Alykanas but realy enjoyed Alykes this time Ps thats not my boyfriend hair lol.

Stayed 4th July - 12th July in Alykes popped into Magic Mushroom couple of times. Nice bar, nice staff (Denise), had a cocktail or two. Only bar which had big screen showing Big Brother eviction (Sad I know) so I watched that, while my boyfriend drank across the road hehe!
