Argassi, well what can i say...
Dont go there if you expect a nice beach, they say it's sand and shingle, however if i put it this way you might get a better idea, Rhyl beach is better!!! 
But on a happier note, argassi is a very friendly place to go.. The people hear go out of there way to make your stay an enjoyable one. The Villa Denise Apartments are great, Denis and Maggie are the best hosts anyone could wish for. 
Eating out, my families fave has got to be Castaway, food great, hospitality great, value for money great.
Places to avoid... Pete's Restaurant, The man is a slimey little critter who tries to force feed people, and tries to force them into his restaurant. I had an argument with him myself and i saw him chase many others down the street trying to get them to eat there. Trust me if you go to Argassi, there is no way you can miss this horrible little man. 
Argassi is a nice place to visit, however 1 week would be long enough.

Well, just like many of the others who have left a msg about Peter's Restaurant, I can only say how annoying this "Slimmy Little Critter" is. In fact the Mossi's didn't bother me half as much as this man did. In fact after the 3rd time i said maybe to eating in his restaurant, (we were there for 2wks) He got very nasty and starting shouting at my family and this was all in front of my 3yr old son. He is very pushy, and nasty if you say No.
However do not let him put you off walking down the street there are many other great Restaurants you will be missing out on. Just ignore him or do what i did, and call him Pushy everytime you walk past, he doesn't like it and he turns his back on you.
Castaways - (Restaurants in Argassi)

This is a Great Restaurant, Thank you to everyone there... Food, Service and everthing else was outstanding.
The Flamming Fajitas, are a must if you try Castaway's they are just the best..
Do Not let that horrible man at Peter's Restaurant put you off coming here, just ignore him and head straight to Castaways, Everything about the place is Excellent.
Villa Denise Apartments - (Accommodation in Argassi)

Villa Denise, was outstanding. Dennis and Maggie have got to be the best hosts i have ever experienced. Rooms are a little basic, but very clean.
Dennis and Maggie even treatd my 3 yr old son as if he was there grandchild, making him special lunches, and giving him chocolate and ice-cream, he of course thought it was great. Dennis even took myself and my family, to the beach when the pool bar was shut, he couldn't do enough for us.
Yes, we heard the Cockerels, but they are not as bad as some are saying, i think some people pay for a bungalow and expect a millionaires mansion.. Get real.
As for never seeing Dennis and Maggie what a load of Rubbish, Dennis is at the Pool Bar all day, everyday, except for maybe when there is a little maintenence to see to, and Maggie is house keeping.. Some people are just never happy.
Location is great, a good distance so you dont get all the noise from the bars, but also close enough to all the action.
Dennis and Maggie, if you read these Keep up the hard work, we sure enjoyed our stay, and it was sad when we had to say goodbye, thank you for the Roses, Dennis it was a lovely touch.
Warning: Watch out for flying Melons when in the pool!!!

our first rep nicola was really helpful, even came out at 10pm on our arrival as something wasn;t right with our room.
rob, her sup**visor however was a bit of a prat.. he thought it was funny to throw an 8 yr old child in the deep end of the pool without finding out first whether or not he could swim. he couldn't!!! as you can imagine his family and other guests were horrified just as well his big sister was on hand to fish him out. this is not behaviour we expect to see from someone who is meant to be responsible for our safety and well being while away on hoilday. anyway, other than make a complaint when he was on duty later that day, he too got a soaking, while in full dress. he wasn't amused but maybe next time he'll think about things before just doing it.
everything else was ok....
