Lovely hotel, friendly staff. This was one of the best hotels I have stayed in that was 3 star. Really clean and well situated. We did not have any problems with noise at night and even when taking a siesta during the day providing the patio window was shut you could not hear a sound from the pool which we were right on top of. Would not hesitate in staying here again.
We did an afternoon trip with Captain Spiros to the caves and turtle island. What a personality, nothing was too much trouble. He made sure we saw the turtles and we even got to see a trawler pulling in their catch. Being a smaller boat we were able to actually go into the caves and swim inside. Had a really great trip and although there was a wide age range Spiros made sure everyone enjoyed themselves, especially the 8 lads and girls who didn't know eachother at the start.
Unfortunately we did not find this one until the end of our hol but will def visit again when we return. Food superb, staff really good and not too cramped at table which we found in some places. prices reasonable too!
Really great restaurant, ate here about 4 or 5 times always good. Waiters brilliant entertaining us as well. Would recommend you give it a try!
What a nice place! Danny and Margaret are just so friendly and will do whatever they can to help you. So much to choose from and we did not have a bad meal at all. They even do a superb Sunday roast which my husband (typical Englishman on hol) said was excellent. My friend Jan and I had the prawn saganaki one night, it was to die for ,I'm sure the prawns had been on steroids they were enormous and the sauce was superb. Don't wear white if you have this though, I was covered in napkins but still managed to drip but wow it was worth it. Proper English breakfast (husband again) so big I always had the kiddie breakfast. Look forward to seeing you both again maybe later this year if not def next year!
Visited Tsilivi again in July this year and visited the Apollon 6 times as we only found it on the last day of our holiday last year. I would definitely recommend it ,great food, great service. We had a lot of the specials and enjoyed every one. Our only problem was deciding what to have. My husband will only eat English food and even he was satisfied, the steaks were perfect. We are going back in October and will be calling back to the Apollon again. Try it!!!!!!!!!
Hi Danny,Maggie and Sophia, hope you are all well. Bit late writing this since we were there in June. Yet again you made us really welcome and kept us so well fed. Your food is terrific and we have tried the recipes you gave us, not as good as yours of course. Steve(big) and I are coming back in October and I think we are all coming out September next year. Steve (little)Jan send their best and steve says stock up on the roast potatoes for next year just in case! Otherwise he will be on for the pizza challenge!
Hi Spiros, James, Jodie and Becky.
Hi, Danny, Maggie and Sophia, hope you are all well and enjoying the break. We will all be out on sun 20th Sept 09 and look forward to seeing the changes you have made. Steve will be on for his roast potato challenge. Can't wait to see you and taste your wonderful food again.
Hi Danny , Maggie and Sophia, hope you are all well and having a good season. We will be out in 4 weeks Sun 20th sept so have those yorkshires and roast potatoes ready for the two Steve's. Can't wait to have the difficult decision of what to eat from your delicious menu. Love Anne & Steve and Jan & Steve XX
Just got back and have to say that this year we were disappointed with the Apollon. The chicken stamna our friends have loved in the past was just like chicken in thick gravy granules. It looked awful. We have eaten here many times in the past and always had good food. We explained to the English lady that the stamna was not as it used to be and she didn't seem bothered, also the waiter knocked over our carafe of wine but no offer of replacing the half that he spilt. Needless to say we didn't go back again.
Our first visit to the Majestic was a lovely experience, good food, great service, needless to say we went back and will go back again next year.
We had been to the Olive Garden on previous visits to Tsilivi but did not think the food was as good last year. However, we thought we would give it a chance again and were glad we did. The food and service were excellent, we had a few meals because of this. You may pay a little extra but it is worth it.
What can I say that I haven't said before, food superb and company excellent. You can't call them staff because they are like friends. Thankyou Danny, Margaret Sophia,Juliano and Danny's brother and also George who was there for our last night. Another half stone to lose but it was so enjoyable. Have a great 40th Maggie and we will see you again next year!
Love Anne & Steve. Jan & Steve (Big yorkshires)Hi Spiros, Katerina, Yiannis and June.
Just got back from Tsilivi after our 6th visit and once again good to see Sakis and the gang at Bowl m Over. So friendly and the facilities are excellent. So much to do here if you have a family and as a party of four adults very relaxing surroundings too. See you again next year and maybe Jan and I will beat the two Steves at pool!
