we totally agree this is one of the quality restaurant's in the town, a litre of house wine is also only 6 euro. funnily enough we are going on the 29th of August in three weeks time and I will have cheese saganaki starter and mixed meat grill. My wife will probably have prawn saganaki. we already have withdrawal symptom's as we were there in June.
Rating this restaurant as 10 does it no justice! It is by far the best restaurant in Tsilivi. The food was perfect every time we ate here, which including breakfast was around 7 times during our 2 week stay. Dimitri, Angela, Natasha & all make you very welcome. I would recommend the Lamb Kleftiko, Prawn Saganaki & the Steaks which melt in your mouth! We will be returning on the 29th August and will be having our first holiday meal here, washed down with the local wine!
Just come back we ate here twice while on holiday it was our fav place to eat at the resort the greek plate is excellent would recommend to anyone Dimitree was very friendly and made us feel very welcome.
One of the best restaurants in terms of the quality of food served! Yes it was one of the most expensive restaurants but only by a couple of euros. I loved the way that you were not pressured into the restaurants and the surroundings while eating really were fantastic! I would recommend it to anyone
On our first and second night we ate here, the food and the service was great although expensive, as we only in Tsilivi for a week we had to be carefull with our spends, but if had more money would of eaten there more.
We had been to the Olive Garden on previous visits to Tsilivi but did not think the food was as good last year. However, we thought we would give it a chance again and were glad we did. The food and service were excellent, we had a few meals because of this. You may pay a little extra but it is worth it.
went to the olive garden, slightly dearer than the average but the meals and service were great, alot of mixed reveiws, but then it would,nt do for us all to be the same, would go again
Most expensive meal of our trip. Very ordinary food and the Savoury Crepes were made with a Vanilla Pancake mix. Not great with Ham and Cheese!!
Just arrived back from Tsilivi and we had read good and bad reviews about the Olive Garden, so thought we would give it a try but was left disappointed. Staff are very good at enticing you into the restaurant but once seated staff not really interested. Our waiter when he finally came to take our order was too busy looking elsewhere rather than listening to what we were requesting. The food when it arrived was fair but had much better elsewhere. Would not recommend this restaurant.
i have to say it makes me sad and angry to hear bad remarks about this restaurant!!as far as waiting is concerned it really isnt that long and you go on holiday to relax and enjoy youre food!! so if you want quick service go to macdonalds!!!, i am a friend of babis and know they all work extremly hard to please there customers and make them feel welcome!! so dont listen to the bad comments from pathetic people,if you want great food and outstanding service then the olive garden is for you, we travel from kalamaki to eat here !!!
see you all in ten days hugs n kisses claire xWe were here end July/beg Aug and I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed my food in this restaurant, unfortunately the service let it down. We waited ages for each course and even longer for the bill, it was fairly busy, but not totally full. My parents went again on their own and found that they waited even longer and the place was a lot quieter. They looked after regulars and friends before newcomers, which is a shame as we could have been friends of the future.
Aaah the Olive garden ..
We have only been to Tsilivi once (For 1 Week) And have already Visited the Olive garden 3 Times. The food was Absoulutely Amazing and i DEFINATELY Reccomend the Margarita Pizza! The food didnt take too long to arrive, and it was Gorgeous. The bill took slightly longer, but the price was acceptable. Also the waitor Dimitree is one of the Nicest people you'll ever meet!
As I said, Sept 2007 was great - just didn't enjoy our experience there this year - maybe an off night - I don't know - but I had better meals, hospitality etc. Each to their own....
This is my parents favourite restaurant in Tsilivi and I was not disappointed when I went this year.
Went here in Sept 2007 and loved it great Lamb Kleftico. Unfortunately went here in June 2008 and was very disappointed. Waited ages to be served, then ages for the food (only had a salad) and then at the end of the meal waited an age for the bill, only to find that it was seriously over-priced. Charged for bread we didn't order and really I think we were "done"- but to be honest just wanted to get out of there. Not the most friendly of welcomes and sadly will not be returning to this restaurant when I go back in September.
Great restaurant in a lovely setting. Couldnt fault the service or the food. Give this place a try you wont be disappointed!
the olive garden is simply superb,we travel from kalamaki just to eat there and see our gorgeous friend babis, you have to try the lamb kleftico its the best!!! it makes our holiday visiting this restaurant. my daughter loves the tortoises they have in the garden. thank you to all at the olive garden and especialy to babis for being so special. see you all on the 11th sept 2008.xxxxx

Nice Kleftico, friendly staff
Ate here twice , kleftico brilliant, beef superb, waiters had time for chat and lovely surroundings.
We ate here twice during our stay in Tsilivi in Sept 06. On both occasions we chose greek dishes which were very good, do try the Stifado. The suroundings are very pretty and the staff are attentive. Top marks. Kath and Jim Ingham Bolton UK
