this bars great! dennis n all the barmen are really friendly and the drinks and prices are to! It's different from other bars because it has a waiters service so you don't have to keep getting up and worrying about paying. The music is ok, but its not to my taste but my Mum and Dad like it because they are old! You can sit in or out of the sun! Visit it!

I can highly reccommend this bar, it must be good as Madonna has been known to spend lazy summer evenings sampling the cocktails in here...!!

Have been going to Alykanas for 6 years now. Pop into Catacombes most nights for an hour or so just to chill and have a few beers. The music is first class and if you dont like whats playing, Dennis will tell you to pick something from the huge collection of C.D.'s on the bar. Friendly banter, good laugh and great company.Nothing too much trouble for them. I would advise anyone to go, at least once, sitting under the huge parasoles on a warm night,cant beat it!

this was the best cocktail bar in the whole of alykanas - dennis makes the most fantastic cocktails and his company is excellent - what a lovely guy. My husband Gary, and Dennis got on famously - we had the best nights in this bar. A must bar to try

I loved this place! Went to Alykanas for a relaxing holiday last year with my boyfriend and ended up going here just about every night for two weeks!
Sitting under the umbrellas, watching the sun go down, sipping a delicious cocktail with a light breeze cooling you down after another day of wonderful sunshine... heavenly...
Loved the staff too- extra friendly and welcoming. Thank you for making our holiday so special

Great chill out bar - soft rock in background not played too loudly, wonderful selection of cocktails.

Every time I come to Zante I always have a cocktail in this bar, my only problem is which one to choose as Dennis has a huge variety. They are always fabulous. And the musics fab as well

My husband and i love this bar as it is exceptionaly friendly from both Dennis the joint bar owner and the bar staff espacially Natasha Dennis' daughter.The alcohol flows freely and plentiful and they allow you to run a tab for payment when you leave,it saves time messing about with money when you are enjoying yourself and you don't mind so much how much it is when a little bevied although the prices are very reasonable and not over expensive.The music is English and tends to be light rock or pop although not chart music,Dennis will let you pick your own if you ask him and if you are willing to learn, he and his daughter may teach you a few Greek phrases,(you see drinking can be educational!!!!!)see you in July 2003

The Baileys Irish Coffee is to die for and the music fantastic - Eagles,Leonard Cohen, in fact you name it they have it....... went nearly every night. Highly recommend it.

Ahhhh!!! Just returned from my annual trip to Alykanas,my holiday wouldn't be complete without my 'Exotic Dream' cocktail in this bar. If you're going to Alykanas you MUST call in here. It's a great place to relax and watch the world go by in the evenings. Dennis the owner is a VERY nice guy and always likes to sit and have a chat with you. Yammas Dennis, see you next year!

It was a little late in the holiday when we found this place, which probably wasn't a bad thing. A choice of over 60 mind blowing cocktails which pack an almighty punch ! As Dennis said "These aren't english measures".{P}Good prices and great atmosphere, all too tempting to have just "one more for the road"...

Excellent bar!! Dennis is such a nice guy. I've been visiting this bar for 10 years and I can definitely reccommend the cocktails, especially the 'exotic dreams'! It's situated right in the centre of Alykanas vilage,an ideal place to relax and 'people watch'. Madonna has been known to sample the cocktails here too..!!

One of the best bars around! Dennis is such a nice guy and Nikos Techila makes the meanest 'Bloody Mary'..wicked!! It's in the centre of Alykanas village and a brill place to sit and relax and watch the world go by! Can also reccommend the 'Exotic Dream'! See you on May 30th guys!!

Is Dennis still there. Is it still as good this year. Any major changes in the area. We have been going for several years to this bar and hope to go later in the year.

top slot for an alternative night away from teenypop land, Dennis makes fab cocktails,well worth a visit or three, (make sure you have some paracetamol for the next day! )

It was the music that prompted us to go into this bar. A mix of 70's soft rock and prog-rock, with a bit of newer stuff thrown in for good measure. Went back the next night and the tunes were just as good, they didn't even mind when I managed to be my clumsy self and smash a glass (I'm sure someone moved the table). Well worth a visit.

Hi Emily, you can find Catacombes on the main Alykanas Road heading to wards the bridge that takes you Alykes. Its right opp Reginas gift shop and between the greedy Greek trevana and the Letso Hotel. Well worth a visit. try the BMW or the tropical Russian.

The best place to drink. Have been going now for several years. Thanks very much to Denis for a special birthday treat/surprise went my daughter had her 16th birthday on the 10th july. will be back oct 17th.
