``FANTASTIC RESTAURANT``
I MISS THE FOOD THERE........................
I' LL GO BK NEXT SUMMER FOR SURE.
What can i say we didn't like it! The service and food was rubbish, we went there 3yrs ago and it still hasn't changed!
Excellent all round I cant understand why it is given 4 out of 10 great food good friendly service and the cleanest presented restaraunt in Alykes. Much better than many of cafe style eating houses around this is much more classy but inexpensive.
Well what can i say the food was the same as everywhere else the service was ok, but the thing that dissapointed us was they short changed us by 10€ which was only realised after we had left, we won't be that trusting again !!
We enjoyed our first visit to the restaurant so much we returned a second time and we were certainly not disappointed. Huge choice of traditional greek meals on the menu. Great atmosphere and great service. A cut above the standard taverna catering for the british tourist.
This restaurant was beautiful very relaxing and the traditional greek music was lovely. service and food both great and the price was surprisingly low too!
Superb food (recommend the Octopus and the peppered steak - not at the same time obviosuly). Highly impressed.
Only went there once! That was enough.
second best place to eat very nice have the stuffed toms for starters then lamb kleftiko the best i found
Very nice taverna. Their swordfish and chicken souvlakis were excellent. Also try the giant beans starter. Good service and the only taverna we returned to during our stay in Alykes.
I highly recommend, and I eat out a lot and know good food when I eat it
It was a lovely meal with friendly staff who were quick and efficient, I had their escalopes ambrosia superb.
Were there 2nd week in May 2003, found the service rather lacking, the menu was very un-greek, the lasagne was definately not homemade and the views over the beach were actually over the tops of a few houses. The music was so loud we couldn't hear ourselves talking!!!!
We spend here very nice time with great food and pleasant personal. I hope, that we will come next summer again.
Food was good. Service was good with pleasent staff. Food prices on a par with the rest we went in.
We were lured in to the look of this restaurant. I asked for Zakynthian Meatballs (Kokonisto) and received Lamb Kleftiko. The waiter assured me this was the correct food and looked at me like I was daft. It came with chips although the waiter taking the order said that it came with rice. The waiters in general were unfriendly given my dissatisfaction. The chips were greasy and tasteless. Prawns came wrapped in HAM! The salad was a nice selection of raw cabbage. I'd never go back. The staff couldn't care less wether we were there or not. Horrible food. Terrible service. Like someone else said, waste of a walk up the stairs.
The waiters are really friendly here. On our last night we got 2 bottles of free wine and plenty of free ouzo(yuk) this was our favourate place and we ate here several times.
We ate at the Ambrosia Rooftop Restaurant at least 4 times. We had, between four of us, most of the menu and we had no problems with anything.Try their apple crumble with ice cream, delicious.Yannis will look after you,all the staff have a great sense of humour and the service is great.
The service was terrible, the food rubbish and I cannot honestly say it is worth the climb upstairs ..
good food
The most visited restaurant on our last stay, food excellent,Nik thanks for reserving our table each night! see you in august 2001 Jane & Mark from Kent
