Windmill Bay Hotel

We've just come back from a lovely week at Windmill Bay! Plus points: all apartmens had pool view and most had sea view, they were spacious and well-equipped, staff were very helpful, bar food very cheap especially breakfasts (although we were self catering it wasn't worth the trouble to cook!), the only bad point was the busy road into the centre of Argassi - it was a little traumatic walking along it especially when coaches were coming! I'd highly recommend it particularly for families.

We stayed at the windmill studios and it was wexcellent the rooms were cleaned every day and the beds and towels change 5 times a week, brilliant. Only 2 niggles, our balcony never saw the sun (and neither did any on that side of the hotel) so it was a bit cold and gloomy, though it did overpook the pool and you could see the sea. Other thing was the noise. There were karaoke and quiz nights held in the reception area which was just round the corner from our room and the kids ran up and down the corridors until very late indeed.

does anyone know what the beach is like beside the windmill bay apparments?

is it true that the bar closes at 6 on a night? and whats down the steps near the apartment also how far is it from the town centre will it b4 anygood for teenagers age 18 and 16?

stayed here for a week in oct, very nice and quiet as the end of season, would recomend this hotel, but the dark main road leading to it is a bit dodgy (in the early hours of the morning,just ask my partner!!) would stay here again, all rooms have a smashing sea view and 2 very nice pools,great for us as close to our favorite resturant the Piccadilly, you must go there too!!

Very nice place to stay, clean quiet and everything you needed. Only problem was the woman who worked at the pool bar, she had to be the most unapproachable person in the world. The snacks were great & they could have made a lot more money out of me, but I felt a burden by asking. Owners please take note!

Jenny, just a note to say to yourself and fellow readers because i have traveled the island and know the hotspots of zakynthos but without a shadow of a doubt your new hotel is the best on the island there is not one hotel that is better than this, and you and your family should be so proud, its been a privelage repping your property i wish all the kladis family all my love and best wishes for the future.

re micheal Goughs comment i think youre above comments are pathetic you could not meet a nicer person maybe youre nose was too near your own backside? These apartments are a credit to the ownersi would bet that they are the most luxurious in argassi

the hotel in its self wasn't that bad but the staff and the owner well, the qwner was well up herself we stayed for one week and in that week she never said hello once, there were four of us all in our 20's and i think she wants more of a family place and the bar closed at 6 in the evening the rooms were ok but as the appartments havent been open long there was a shortageof staff and didn't get cleaned every day so all in all i would recomend argassi to anyone but the appartments just are not worth it

An excellent hotel, would definately recommend! Very clean with well equiped apartments. Kitchen has almost everything you could need- kettle, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, even a sandwich toaster! Excellent view as it's right beside the sea. A great location just a couple of minutes walk away from the main part of Argassi so it's quiet yet still has great access to all the amenities.
