Marie Mare Hotel

Have returned from a totally relaxing holiday.
Rooms basic but pleasant enough.
Pool and everything around the area is kept very clean.
Will return next year .......except for the airport !!!

we had a wonderfull week here every thing you could hope for. situation brilliant close to every thing but still peaceful would definitely recommend to anyone. supermarket opposite, well stocked first visit to zante but will go back to the same appartments.

Just returned from the Maria Mare apartments.
Lovely accomodation. Very hot - you need to hire fans for the rooms or it will be unbearable!!
Pool lovely staff friendly.
The only downside is if you have very small children the pool edges canget slippy. Also the beach is no good if you want to sunbathe there as there is hardly any sand to sit on as the water comes right in.
Hired a car - but the road directions are very poor.
Found a lovely big beach with bars,toilets,sports,sunbeds etc at St Nicholas Bay.
Will go back again.

MY FAMILY AND I HAD A FANTASTIC HOLIDAY IN MARIA MARE APARTMENTS!!!!! THE ACCOMMODATION WAS THE BEST. THE STAFF WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL.THE APARTMENTS WERE CLEANED EVERY DAY.THEY WERE REALLY NICE AND CLEAN. ALL OF THEM HAVE THE BEST SEA VIEW IN ZAKYNTHOS. IT IS AN EXCELLENT PLACE TO RELAX. THE POOL AND THE GARDEN ARE PERFECT. WE HAVE ENJOIED OUR HOLIDAY!!!!!!!!WE THINK THAT THE WAY YOU MADE THE MARIA MARE IS EXCELLENT. WE WILL BE BACK NEXT YEAR............... SEE YOU SOON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THE HOTEL WAS EXCELLENT , STAFF WERE FRIENDLY AND VERY HELPFUL. POOL WAS REALLY REALLY CLEAN ( THE CLEANEST IN ARGASSI ). WONDERFUL VIEWS. OVERALL FACILITIES EXCELLENT. GREAT HOLIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Went to these apartments in June 03 for two weeks. Its a bit of a shock when you arrive to find the building not finished, however saying this the apartments are fairly large, bright, clean and have lovely sized balconies. The family who own the apartments are very nice. You can hire fans and safety deposit box's. Pool area very nice, pool cleaned daily. Pool bar would be a bonus, but as others have said Green Frog is ideally situated across the road for all you might want. Red Lion bar Great fun. My lad spent half his holidays in there.

Just returned 10 days ago, thoroughly enjoyed holiday except for rain and small earthquake! Accomodation excellent, really clean. The only improvement would be a poolside bar but apartments close enough to many bars and tavernas and an excellent supermarket over the road - collect voucher from there for 10% discount at GreenFrog in the cente of the village (owned by same people). The Red Lion is excellent especially ELVIS. Best tours we found at Dionissis Travel - expecially 1/2 day turtle trip. Beaches very narrow and watch out for the odd spikey creature! Chris the tour rep is fabulous say hello to him from my daughter Gemma and her friend Nat. Have a great time we did.

We stayed here for 2 weeks from 11th June 2002. The pool area was cleaned thoroughly every day & kept to a very high standard. The apartment was fairly clean, they only seemed to clean round things as there was a horrible red sticky patch just under the bed & it was there for the whole of our stay. Apart from that, we can't fault it, the owner was very friendly

Just returned from a two week break in these apartments. We can recomend them for location, right on the waters edge, the pool was lovely, and cleaned thoroughly every night, the rooms were kept spotless, the only downside was no pool bar/cafe, but small shop 300 yards away and within easy access of the cafes and the Oasis bar for evening entertainment, the best on the island.We will return,as soon as they reopen.

there was no poolside bar but it was close enough to the red lion. excellent location for a family holiday

can anybody tell me if these appatements have a poolside bar

Our family have just come home from Argassi and we thought that it was really clean, the cleaners came round every evening to clean the pool and the sunbathing area.We recommend the resort!

The apartments where lovely! My boyfriend and I had a great holiday! The location was perfect as you were close enough to everything but as it was on the edge the sounds of the nightlife did not effect us! Everyone is so friendly and the manager was a laugh!

Me and my wife and two small children Came back about six weeks ago, had an excellent time. The apartments were good and cleaned daily. The beaches in Argassi are not that great, more rocks and pebbles than sand,so bear this in mind if your looking for a beach holiday. Check out Bannana Beach if you are! Argassi town centre is good (apart from the lack of pavements)with lots of resteraunts, shops and supermarkets. We are hoping to return in the future. Jay 29/06/01

Our family stayed at these apartments last August/September (00) It is in really good situation off the road and is kept beautifully clean. The pool and surrounding area is also cleaned every evening. We would definately return. 10/10 for everything.
