This was the friendliest most welcoming place we visited. The breakfasts were exceptional for value and taste!Recommend this for all!!
Where did you eat Tim? We ate there the night after you, the service was first class, the food delicious no waiting at all!Waiter was chatty and helpful, complimentary drinks the best on the Island .Please go there, we loved it!!
Good food, good service, the Greek entertainment was a bit of a let down..they didn't turn up.The meals were very tasty and filling.Loads of extra's...salad, fruit, ouzo.Waiters tired but pleasant.
In the cold light of day(sober) we realised that we had been seriously overcharged for our meal. Not only did the free wine not materialise but we were charged for the ouzo given(ha ha ) at the end of the meal.Avoid at all costs, it's not lamb here, it's goat(we eat goat at home so we do know what it tastes like!!!)
Pool was shut at 5.30p.m but it was help yourself to drinks and leave your name on a notepad at the bar.Only saw Denis?once and never saw Maggie. No welcome no conversation, no information or help. It was clean and....basic.Missed the friendly touch we have come to expect.
We live in Cornwall....fortunately we didn't go for the beach!!
If you want home from home come come here.
Best music , great as a pre-eats bar.Beer cold but not cold enough, lovely screen!!
We enjoyed sailing around but come on...the shipwreck was a joke!!!Laugh at it but don't cry, they have to do something to get our interest Who thought up that one you have to ask yourself!!!
This was a fantastic day.Marios the guide was unfortunate..he didn't draw breath and thought he was in an university lecture hall, he also had rather strange views on women and olive oil! If you want the Greek perspective he's your man, a lot more went on here than he will let on...i.e the Romans! What did the Romans give us...or them?
Booked with Dionisios? and at 13Euros including lunch it was fantastic.Boat trip was brilliant , meal at stop off ex. all in all well worth it.Only problem, the coach drivers driving on tiny mountainous tracks frightened me to death.Shopping stop a rip off, we can get the same "hand made" lace goods in local markets.Look at the cars in their back yards.Home made olive oil in fanta bottles(to prove authenticity?) is rubbish.Organic wine is ...yeuk, especially when you get home.
We couldn't go because it wasn't available.Perhaps the horses had been served up for meals in the less well liked restaurants?
We had one full day of rain(stayin bed) and six hot days..one on the mainland when apparantly it was cloudy until 3.00pm in Argassi. Also had one spectacular electric storm and minor earthquake.Last major Quake Nov.2001 mes.7.5.
