So,today was "Tough Topless Totty" day! Yep us real men got our shirts off and displayed our manly bodies to the world (Tee Hee!) Had a great time,Paul was a great guide, very knowledgable and a fantastic sense of humour..and even came to my aid when I was stung by a manic, psychotic Bee! (It died soon after it clashed with my foot!) Was great travelling with you all today....Better luck next time Daniel and Alex hee hee! Would definitly go on a Zakfari next year.
Well,my latest visit to Zakynthos ended on tuesday 22nd october and I would like to say what a fantastic time I have had once more at the Villa Denise. Dennis and Maggie were fantastic as usual and made me feel welcome. Would like to say Hi to everyone that I met this time, too many to mention all of you but you know who you are.Gary and Debbie,Dave and Paula,Liam and Debbie and all the others...Some actually recognised me from this website which was weird! It is generally quiet at the Villa Denise but there was a little noise from that Beer Academy place but not that severe that it kept me awake. Will most certainly return next year as usual and I hope to have an equally as good a time as this year.
Would STILL not eat anywhere else in Argasi. Loved the food, the service and the reasonable prices. Over the many years I have visited Argasi I have always eaten at Tiffany's...and please don't take little Peter too seriously, there is a pathway that runs around the back of that part of Tiffany's where you can avoid him hee hee!
Within walking distance from Argasi (if you are like me and enjoy walking!!) Very quiet and spacious beach, glad I visited it this year instead of walking straight past it on my way to St Nicholas Beach. Will certainly visit there again next year.
My favourite beach on the whole island. There is a section (albeit unofficial) for Naturists to the far-left of the beach which I partook of and felt very relaxed and not intimidated by non-naturists. Facing south,it certainly is a sun-trap so if you are far-skinned then use lots of sun-cream when you visit Kalamaki.
Went past it on october 16th..was closed!
Still full of Lager Louts and silly little bimbos with small skirts and even smaller IQ's. Thought it may have improved ....nope!
It was OK...music and TV sound was a bit loud for my liking.OK while you are in there but it gets annoying when it can be heard in your apartment 500 metres away!
Used to be an Information Kiosk but over the last few years has slowly become a Snack Bar with a seating area. It is situated opposite the Eleana Hotel in Argasi and is run by Peter from Tiffany's son Louie who is a great guy. Here you can buy pancakes with both savoury and sweet fillings, waffles, ice cream, sorbets, fresh fruit juices, milk shakes, hot dogs etc. A must if you just fancy a little snack or a drink instead of a big meal. Tell Louie that Simon says Hi!
Hi Anne. There are no kettles in the rooms of the Villa Denise so bring your own travel kettle (plus adaptor of course!)..and don't forget some mosquito repellent lotion/spray.This is needed wherever you are in Zakynthos and not just the Villa Denise! The 3 bedroom apartments are on the top (2nd) floor. Hope you have a good time,I always do.
er...no cathy..being a g*y man i really do not care about the opinions of the bimbos in short skirts :)
Hi everyone.
Just booked my usual 2 weeks at this wonderful place once more.
For those who want to avoid me I shall be at the Villa Denise from
21st september until 5th October :)
Seriously though I look forward to meeting everyone who will be there
at that tim
Hi Paul.
The headlines will scream at you....
"Mad,Loud-Mouthed Canadian set to return to Zakynthos in september!"
See you on another Zakfari then!!
Hi again Anne.
No safety deposit boxes are at the Villa Denise I'm afraid but if you
ask your rep then I think you can use some at nearby hotels such as
the Eleana and the Palmyra which are within 5 minutes walking distance
from the Villa Denise.
I hope you enjoy your stay Anne and please tell Dennis and Maggie that
Simon their best customer will see them again in september!
Incidently Anne you will see a container outside the Villa Denise
which says "Rubbish Here" on it.This is where you empty your rubbish
and it is not a comment about the place made by a disgruntled
holidaym
Just 3 weeks until I am back at the Villa Denise once more and I can not wait.I am looking forward to meeting viewers of this website.
Paul I have just got back from my usual visit to Zakynthos and was told by my First Choice Rep that Zakfari was not running, consequently I did not book a trip this time!
However, upon reading the comments on this website I have found out that Zakfari IS running!
I am annoyed to say the least as I was looking forward to seeing you guys again and repeating the good times I had travelling around the island last year.
Sorry Buddy :( Next year perhaps?
Well October the 6th meant the end of my annual trip to Zakynthos and I must say it was as good as ever.Dennis and Maggie were all hugs and kisses when they saw me walking towards the Villa Denise and I was treated like royalty.
I had my favourite room at the Villa Denise which is number 13.It has a lovely view of the bay across to Zakynthos town and on a clear day the Greek Mainland and the nearby island of Kefallonia can be seen.
I would like ot say hi to all the lovely people I met, including Nick,Rhiannon,Jill,Peter and Harry,Steve,Aly and Oliver,Mike and Gareth,Barney and his wife,Roger and Chris,Andy and Leanne,Matt and Emma,Dale and family and not forgetting Mike and John.It was a pleasure to have met you all and I miss you guys very much.
Hope to return next year.Meanwhile please keep in touch simonparton6@yahoo.com
I really do not know why everyone slates Tiffany's so much.I have been going to Argasi for many years and I have always had my evening meal at Tiffany's.
I have never had a bad meal at Tiffany's ever since I started going there.
I would recommend the Chicken Souvlaki (Kebab) with Bacon. It is absolutly delicious...and only 7 Euros!
Tell Emil that Simon says hello!
