Great location but the staff don't care after you have walked in the door. Got the order wrong twice, poor service, and average food at above average prices
Cheap and cheerful restaurant serving decent enough food. There are better restaurants but this is a nice cheap evening out
Dont miss this one when in in Tsilivi!. Terrific service and really nice staff serving absolutely top notch grub. Try the fish and shellfish soup with garlic bread, but skip lunch to save room for the generous portions. The kids loved the spaghetti and the souvlakis as well.
Consistenyly good and the best restaurant we foound in Tsilivi
This is a tough one to judge - We had a great meal here, and a distinctly ordinary one as well. The service is generally excellent, but can be overwhelmed at peak times. Food is some of the best we ate, but it isn't cheap - watch out for the puddings especially as being an expensive extra.
Can be a great experience - but can let you down as well!
Some of the best cooking we ate. The oriental souvlaki was a treat as was the bifftekki (home made filled burger). Suffers from being jammed in beside a couple of noisy cocktail bars. Worth a visit
Lets not get carried away here - decent restaurant at sensible prices, but you can eat better, and a lot worse
Well worth a visit, decent restaurant at sensible prices.
Could not understand the mark for this place 'till I saw the 3year old hatchet job in the comments below - thats a really helpful review mate!!!
Ate here twice without being let down. Good points are a pleasant setting back from the main road, reasonable prices , and a willingness to make anything on the menu in a smaller portion for the kids. Cooking ranges from average to occasionally very good, with pleasant service. You can eat better, but can do a lot worse too!
To be honest we never ate here. But its worth a walk past to see captain Smarmy (Spiros I gather from the reviews below) who has an amazing collection of tacky shirts. Hawaii-5-0 meets the Grateful Dead in glorious rayon! Enjoy
Oh y'all stop being so sensitive y 'hear!
Her's an honest opinion on the Admirals
The location is top notch - you can be on the Bukka /Alexandra Beach in less than 3 minutes, and the Planos area is nicer all round than the main Tsilivi resort. The hotel isn't quiet, but thats a design feature which seems to lock in noise from around the swimming pools, and in high season there's a lot of kids. The good thing was the way the hotel tried hard to make sure outside entertainment shut down at midnight so you can get to sleep.
Top marks to the cleaners. I wouldn't want to start at at 04:00 but they do clean all the sunbeds daily, and mop (rather than just hose down) the pool surrounds. Room service was fine as well. There isn't air conditioning but fans are for hire, desirable for those red hot days but not necessary if theres a breeze.
Personally I thought George and Daniel (the entertainers) were always polite, pleasant and fragrant (and my missus can pick out B.O. or unwashed socks at 50 metres upwind!). Yes the entertainment is sometimes a bit cheesy, but no less popular for that. Might help if it started on time more often guys!!. If I could make a wish it would be for a child free area or a curfew for kids in the main bar. How about using the balcony on to the main road as an adults only bar??
had a 3 day hire at competitive rates without any problem. Many thanks to Pete at Margaris for all the help with routes and destinations which he helped us with each morning.
This was a lovely tranquil beach with a pleasant bar/restaurant at one end. Thats all gone to f**K now I'm afraid as a new beach bar has opened at the rocky end of the beach. Strangely enough I don't find a steady background pulse of Ibiza trance a glorious addition to the human condition in all circumstances . Oh why cant they just not ruin some things??
