Just got back from Hotel Exotica on 30 August 2004. Had a fantastic holiday. Kiddie reps were superb, Joff the entertainer was brilliant and hotel staff are very helpful and friendly. Had a room with 4 single beds for me, husband, and daughters aged 12 and 10 and the room was more than adequate. The facilities at the hotel were great and we ate out at a number of restaurants, the favourites being Mermaids and Parthenon. Trying to book again for next year it was so good!

Can anyone tell me why the photo's i've added are not shown until you click on them? And is there a way of deleting the two I've added once I've found out how to do it properly?

We've just booked to go back to the Exotica next August. It will be our 3rd visit in 4 years. Have to say this year was the best - largely due to Joff and the Kidzone Reps. They were superb.

Can't wait to go back. Hopefully have some decent pics to post next year.

We just got back from Kalamaki last week and we ate at the Parthenon 5 or 6 times during our 2 weeks stay. The food was excellent, the waiters are very friendly and fantastic with the kids. We are going back to Kalamaki next year and the Parthenon will be our first meal. Thanks guys - you were fantasic! Can't wait to see you next year

Fantastic Holiday! Kiddie Reps were superb! (thanks - Gemma, Carla, Natalie, Lynn, Lisa & Tracy).Joff the Entertainer was brilliant. Hotel and staff were great - again! This was our 2nd visit to Kalamaki and the Hotel Exotica and we had such a great time that we've already booked to go back same time, same place, next year. Went on three excursions with Thomson - the BEST was Saturday Night Live. The turtle cruise and the water park were both good value for money. Well Done Thomson and thanx for a FANTASTIC holiday.

I think you can hire a kettle/iron/microwave for a refundable deposit (so no cost, you get your money back when you return the item - the same goes for towels - we paid 5 euros per towel which was refunded on return of the towels). The fridge was 50 euros for two weeks and the aircon about 70 euros for two weeks. The weather forcast still looks good - but you may need a cardigan for the evenings as they do tend to be cooler, even in high season. We went to the Hotel Exotica in August and had a brilliant time. We made lots of new friends, the hotel was really good and the staff looked after you well. The entertainment at the hotel was out of this world - Joff the entertainer was FANTASTIC and the reps in the kids club were REALLY GREAT! The best bits of the holiday were making new friends, playing football & rounders and we enjoyed the Thursday night talent show and the reps shows. We went on three trips - Saturday Night Live was the BEST EVER - we clapped so much that our hands hurt and my sister lost her voice cheering so much! THANKYOU Thomson for a brilliant holiday & SEE YOU NEXT YEAR!

We have had two fantastic holidays at the Exotica and we are looking forward to going back in August. Only 145 more sleeps

 Hey, Julie - we have been to the Hotel Exotica twice already and we are going back on 15th August this year.  My daughters are 13 and 10 and we really love it there.  There is a daytime entertainments programme which is very good and keeps the kids (and adults!) entertained until about 5pm and there is evening entertainment about 5 nights a week.  The Thomson organised entertainment is very good (i.e. quiz night, Reps show, kids club shows etc) but some of the other entertainment is not worth staying in for.  There is plenty of entertainment out and about in the bars and some nights at the Exotica there would be just 3 or 4 families back for the evening.  So I would try and mix it a bit, there is no pressure to stay at the Exotica unless the kids want to go to the kiddie disco which starts at 9pm (thankfully mine have outgrown that now - after 7 years of dancing to "Thomson the Dog" - we are ready for something a bit more lively!!)

I am sure you will have a great time though - the hotel itself is fabulous; the facilities are brilliant and the staff are Great!

 A big thank you to the Thomson team at the Hotel Exotica.  We stayed there for the 3rd time in 4 years from 15th - 29th August and had a wonderful time.

Well done to the kiddie reps, Tommy Tomato, Loudmouth Lynne, Loopy Lorna, Magical Michaela, Raspberry Rachel and Lipstick Linda who all did a brilliant job in the kids club.  Amy and Ellie loved them all.

Thanks to Tracey and Hayley who are always on hand with a friendly face and a smile to help with any problems or queries.

Ryan the Entertainer was absolutely fantastic with adults and children alike, keeping everyone entertained day and night with his boundless energy.  Great guy who is destined for stardom!! Stole the show with his solo singing at Saturday Night Live.

Was also great to see Kristina again, who we met at the Exotica in 2002 and now coordinates the kiddie reps in Greece and the Canary Islands. Lovely girl who was a favourite with all the kiddies.  

Well done Thomson...you worked so hard to make our holiday a memorable one!!

A big thank you to all at the Parthenon.  We had three lovely meals here in August and can recommend the Lamb Kleftico and Chicken Slouvaki...both are delicious.  Yianni kept the kids entertained, trying to make Ellie work at the restaurant, by handing out menus when customers arrived and Amy had to spin the menu on her little finger like he does, to keep the customers entertained.  Thanks again, and we'll see you next year.

  Hey Natalie....was lovely to see you again too.  Shame you weren't back in the kids club this year, the kids missed you!!  This year's reps were brilliant though and it was nice to have Lynne back again...and also Kristina who we met first in Ibiza years ago and then at the Exotica in 2002.

We've booked to come back to the Exotica for 2006...will be arriving on 11th August for two weeks and am counting the sleeps already....only 327½

We had two great meals here in August.  Can recommend the Lamb Stamnas and the Chicken Wings...both were delicious.  The waiters were some of the nicest we've met and the service was excellent.  Thanks guys...and see you again next year

  Hey Natalie, we booked to go again for next year regardless!!  It is listed in the Thomson Summer Sun brochure and there is definitely a kids club and according to the brochure - some daytime entertainment.  So we'll have to see.  I'm sure we won't be disappointed...the hotel and it's staff are fantastic, we love the resort and I'm sure we'll have a great time.

We visited this resaurant for the first time in August this year and will definitely be visiting again next August.  We wouldn't normally go to an English restaurant as I like to try as many of the Greek dishes as possible but my husband (Nigel) liked the sound of the Friday night special of Fish and Chips and he even managed a Sticky toffee pudding for afters!!  Even the kids finished off everything on their plates, which is unusual.  The food and the service were excellent.

 Just got back from another fantastic holiday at the Hotel Exotica.  A big thanks to Sevi, Sia, Paul, Ladin, Maria and all the staff who make our stay such a pleasant one.  It was a little sad not having Aleco with us this year, the Fountain in his memory was a lovely to see. Paul, the entertainer, was brilliant ... look forward to seeing him again next year .  It was nice to see so many familiar faces. To anyone going out to the Exotica hope you have a lovely time ... you really have picked the best place to spend your holiday. It is in a great location, the rooms are comfortable and clean, the staff are all brilliant and the facilities are excellent.   We are back at the Exotica for a week on 22nd September and are counting the days already.    See you all again soon,

This is still our favourite restaurant in Kalamaki  It was lovely to see you all when we were back in Kalamaki in September.  Delicious food, excellent service and lovely staff.   Would recommend the Lamb Kleftico which is my favourite and hubby loves the stuffed beef burger.  Can't wait to see you all next year.

 Fantastic restaurant in a great location with lovely staff.  Service was excellent.  We visited Mikaelos is August and again in September for a wedding reception.  We enjoyed two fab meals and would recommend the Lamb Kleftico & spaghetti bolognese, both were delicious.  See you again next year.

 We visited in August and September and enjoyed two fab meals at The Lighthouse.  Fish, Chips and Mushy peas followed by Treacle pudding and custard was to die for according to my hubby.  In September we both had the homemade steak pie, with roast potatoes and veg and it was fab.  You have to try the chocolate sponge with custard .. hmmmm deeeelicious   Thanks, Derek and Veronica for two lovely meals and we'll see you again next year
