Stayed at the Planet for a week and had a brill time.  The apartment was very clean, as was the pool, bar, etc.  The staff were so helpful and friendly and really couldn't fault anything.  Will definitely return and would recommend.  Great if you're a football fan as they have about 6 screens around the bar showing various matches - also good disco which goes on quite late - but double glazed balcony doors and shutters mute the noise (although it didn't bother us as we were in the bar 'till it closed anyway!)

Hey Kim!  Well I've bitten the bullet and booked!  10 nights from 13 June - just me and Alex - hopefully staying at the Lazaros! Now only 8 months to wait!!!

Hi I went from 9 Sept - 16 Sept and it was not manic at all - had time to chat to the staff - mind you the bar was still open at 4 in the morning - quite a few locals but they were more of a laugh than the holidaymakers!  By about two in the morning it quietened down and the die hards (ie me and my mate) and a few others continued on!  It was a great time to go, I can imagine it being packed in July/August - and the weather was great!  I'll probably go out for a week again next Sept (without Alex! he's having his one in June!)

Hi Kim.  Ricky was still there when I was there, in fact he said he was there for another two weeks and we left on 16 September.  I guess the postal system out there is a bit hit and miss - hope he got it though cos he sure use's a lot of hair gel!!  He must also use a load of aftershave too (jean paul gautier?!)  Sharon was really lovely, she made me beans and toast to try and get over my hangover!  Could your daughter give me DJ Panos' addy- I can stick him on MSN.  Just think this time next week you'll be there - not that I'm jealous or anything!! Are you still going next summer?

Another brilliant time at the Planet (hi Kim!)

Just returned from the Lazaros.  Apartments are very very clean - maids were there every day - hot water at all times (brilliant shower!).  Nikos and his bro were very helpful - nothing too much trouble.  If you stay in the two room apartment as I did these are based on the front of the complex overlooking the main road - it can get a bit noisy (I had ear plugs, done the job!).  My only gripe (and it's a small one) please provide a kettle and a toaster !!!

Went here in Sept 2007 and loved it great Lamb Kleftico.  Unfortunately went here in June 2008 and was very disappointed.  Waited ages to be served, then ages for the food (only had a salad) and then at the end of the meal waited an age for the bill, only to find that it was seriously over-priced.  Charged for bread we didn't order and really I think we were "done"- but to be honest just wanted to get out of there.  Not the most friendly of welcomes and sadly will not be returning to this restaurant when I go back in September.

As I said, Sept 2007 was great - just didn't enjoy our experience there this year - maybe an off night - I don't know - but I had better meals, hospitality etc.  Each to their own....
