Romios

We visited Zante at the end of May this year and tried a few local restaurants. When we eat at Romeo's we stopped going elsewhere! Fotis, Sally, George, Yannis and Ressie (sorry if the spelling is wrong!) made us so welcome that they felt like family. The food was bliss, delicious, fresh and such a choice that it became really difficult to decide what to have, as we had so many favourites! Nothing was ever too much trouble and we were even advised on places to visit throughout the island and how to walk into Zakynthos.

We have been to Tsilivi 16 times and spend most nights eating in Romios. Fotis,Sally and Em have become our friends over the years. Their service is exceptional! The food is always great. Me as a vegetarian, they will cater anything I ask for, even if it's not on the menu they are happy to help me. The children are fussy eaters (like most) but they love it here, lots of options. My husband and several of our friends have always been impressed too.
As for the mozarella sticks Hmmmmm :o)
They will adjust your menu too, for example, swap your chips for rice or new potatoes etc. (especially good nearer the end of the week when you're feeling the holiday overindulged bloat). Basically I could keep going on and on about how much we love it here but if you're in Tsilivi check it out for yourself. You won't be disappointed............ :o)

Having eaten in several other restaurants in Tsilivi with my teenage daughters (who are quite fussy) I can honestly say that in my opinion Romios is by far the best! The staff were attentive and friendly and the food was incredible. We are only halfway through our trip but will be visiting again before we return home. Fantastic!!

We have visited Tsilivi for 6 -7 years and always look forward to visiting Romios, long before we leave England.

Romios is by far the best restaurant in Tsilivi. We have been to this resort several times and each time we have had fantastic food at Romios. The staff are fabulous, nothing is too much trouble, if you would like something added or taken out of your dish, just ask and they will happily do it for you. We will definitely return when we go back to Tsilivi next year.

In my family's opinion this is the best restaurant we came across whilst in Tsilivi recently. Although to be honest all our meals (bar one) were all good. But back to Romios.

We went to Romios three times during our visit, its unusually for us to go back to the same place as we like to keep trying different places to eat...so that say's it all.

The seating and tables are well laid out, not crammed in at all. It's clean and modern.

On all occasions we received a great welcome from the manager, he felt like an old friend by the third visit. We bumped into him at the airport on the way home as he was dropping his daughter off to fly back on the same flight as us. He introduced her and shook us all by the hand wishing us a safe trip home. He was always anxious that we enjoyed our visit. In truth, I think business is hard for these restaurants with the expansion of All Inclusives and the fact holidays are becoming beyond the reach of many families. I was amazed how quiet the resort was for August!!!!

I've been to Greece a couple of times and the food always tends to be good. But Romios is outstanding, lots of choice and all freshly cooked with plenty of choice. The array of starters is amazing.

It's a well organised operation with different staff fulfilling different roles (ordering, drinks, delivery of food etc.). The staff were friendly (made a fuss of my nine year old, trying to get him to take the orders on our second visit because he had collected everyone menus together on the first. But also professional and courteous.

Try it you won't be disappointed.

Outstanding Restaurant with beautifully cooked food one of the few restaurants I eat in more than once in a two week visit personally one of my favourite places to eat in Tsilivi keep up the good work folks

Just spent ten days in Tsilivi and ate every day at Romios restaurant. It is a beautiful Greek taverna which serves amazing food to suit all tastes. The staff are so friendly and cannot do enough to help. Being a vegetarian it is always a lottery when ordering meals, however the choice and quality at Romios far exceeds any other restaurant. We were made to feel so welcome by Fotis and George who own the restaurant and Fotis' wife Sally is always ready for a good chat and has a mountain of local knowledge if you do not know your way around. Finally as this is a family business Sally and Fotis' lovely daughter Emmy will always serve you an ice cold drink with a huge smile on her face ! Try Romios you will not be disappointed !!

Second visit to Tsilivi but first visit to Romios - it was excellent and the cheapest meal of the holiday.

Have just returned from our 4th visit to Tsilivi in as many years.  Romios was the first restaurant we went to on our first night on our very first trip and we have been going there every night since - if only restaurants in the UK could provide such fantastic service and quality food.

Romios restaurant is by far the best in Tsilivi so is highly recommended. The food is outstanding and one of the main reasons we visit Tsilivi each year!!!!

Hands down one of the best reasturants in Tsillvi....i ate here pretty much everynight!

Fantastic food, fantastic restaurant, fantanstic staff. Everything we had was delicious and we could not fault anything about this lovely place.

To Sally, Fotis and all the team.  We spent two weeks in Zante - Romios made us feel very welcome, service and  food was excellent.  The greek authentic dishes were superb as was the italian dishes, our only dilema was what to choose each evening!  This was our third visit to Zante and to Romios, the food was as good this year as it had been previously and would recommend this restauant to everyone. 

We've been going to Tsilivi for years now but was the first time we've tried Romios. The food was fantastic, I can't believe we've not tried it before!!!!! Don't be put of that it's 'on the other side' of the road, it's well worth crossing over for.  Try the Souvlaki Platter or the Bolognaise Pizza, both are wonderful. The staff are so helpful and were more than happy to cater for my son who wanted something not on the menu. Would highly recommend Romios to everyone.

A fantastic place to eat with very friendly staff. We didn't have a bad meal here and we tried numerous things from the menu. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone staying in Tsilivi. We are definately coming back nextyear! Thanks for making our holiday even better!There were 12 of us and the chicken burritos and lamb a la Romios were two of our favourites. 

 went to tsilvi in zante for 2 wks been back 1 wk had a fantastic holiday all round the food was fantastic thanks to ROMIOS best place in in zante to eat tried other places but none came close. we had a party of 12 & accommidated us every nite sally & staff were great really freindly ging back next year already booked wiil be eating here again everynight!

Very pleased with the food, the service, the atmosphere and the hospitality. Superb. Highly recommended.

This is fast becoming a firm favourite with me we ate here twice during our stay and the service and standard of food is up there with the best of tsilivi. The mixed souvlaki platter is without doubt fantastic my son adores the pizzas here all in all an excellent restaurant and i will be back in there in 6 weeks time.

This is the first time I have eaten at this restuarant in the 6 years I have been going to Tsilivi,  The food is delicious and the service is brilliant, heartily recommend the Romios Special, mixed grill, totally tasty, keep up the brilliant work guys.
