Location: Only a few kms west of Laganas, but worlds apart!
Getting There: It's very difficult to find by road, most people find this place by accident. If you manage to get to Aghios Sostis, it's probably easier to walk along the beach as it is only a few hundred metres
Access: Quite a lot of steps at all access points
Watersports: No, only boat trips and boat rental
Safe for Kids: Yes, the water is very shallow for a long way out
Food & Drinks: From the beachside bar
Turtles: Yes, although they don't nest here you do see them in the water
Seaweed: Seaweed grows naturally in some spots because it's so shallow, but it isn't dense and it's easy to avoid
Sand or Pebbles: The beach is sandy but narrow and can be quite rocky in places
Car Parking: There are car parking spaces near and on the road
|A small family friendly place with a sandy beach and shallow water also offering boat trips to Marathonisi Island and the Keri Caves
|One of the few places on the island where British tourists are a small minority. Can get busy in peak season but otherwise quiet and relaxing.
|It's as busy as you'd expect from a Club 18-30 resort, but keep walking and you'll find a long stretch of beach where development has been prevented by the Marine Park.
|Often discovered by accident, this is a haven of peace and tranquillity despite being within walking distance of Laganas!
