Location: Only a few kms west of Laganas, but worlds apart!

Access: Quite a lot of steps at all access points
Sunbeds: Yes
Toilets: Yes
Watersports: No, only boat trips and boat rental
Safe for Kids: Yes, the water is very shallow for a long way out
Food & Drinks: From the beachside bar
Turtles: Yes, although they don't nest here you do see them in the water
Seaweed: Seaweed grows naturally in some spots because it's so shallow, but it isn't dense and it's easy to avoid
Sand or Pebbles: The beach is sandy but narrow and can be quite rocky in places
Car Parking: There are car parking spaces near and on the road

Keri Beach - Keri Lake (11 Comments) One of the few places on the island where British tourists are a small minority. Can get busy in peak season but otherwise quiet and relaxing. |
Laganas Beach (162 Comments) It's as busy as you'd expect from a Club 18-30 resort, but keep walking and you'll find a long stretch of beach where development has been prevented by the Marine Park. |
Porto Koukla Beach - Aghios Sostis (1 Comment) Often discovered by accident, this is a haven of peace and tranquillity despite being within walking distance of Laganas! |
