Beaches in Zante
Navagio is located in the north-west of Zakynthos (Zante), in the Municipality of Elation. The beach is famous for it's sheer limestone cliffs, clear blue water and of course the shipwreck, which attract tens of thousands of tourists annually. Shipwreck beach can only accessed by boat but many people use the viewing platform on the cliffs above for a spectacular photography opportunity. Regular tours to the beach depart from Porto Vromi to the south, and from Agios Nikolaos and Cape Skinari to the north. Excursion boats also arrive daily from the harbour of Zante Town.
