Well, what can I say, another 2 weeks of first class service, delicious meals, ice cold mythos, a nice bottle of red or two!!!! (not forgetting the malibu and pineapple)  Bob and Nicky the genial hosts. Fantastic food served by Bob and cooked by Nicky, you've really got to try the garlic mayo, chicken breasts and steak Always a friendly face and good hearted banter  Breakfasts to set you up for the day, and a nice morning cup of tea. Will definintely be back in June 2006, get the red wine in Bob!!!!

is nikki still working at isis or do you know where she is?

Keef & Jan  (02 July 2004)

Just got back from Kalamaki and it was like we had never been away from there. Isis was just as good as last year. The food was first class as usual and the quantities huge but low in price. The entertainment provided by Kirsty very funny. Her sisters Claire and Maggie were very strange girls but entertaining as well. If you go there you must get Kirsty to do the Cha Cha slide.

Was good to see Richard and Bob again as well.

Keef & Jan  (15 May 2004)

Isis Bar is a superb bar where we had some superb food and a great laugh with Richard the chef, Bob the owner and his daughter Kirsty. Looking forward to seeing them again on the 17th June. Kirsty, Keith will carry on winding you up, so be prepared.

Peter H  (30 April 2004)

Regarding the comments made by Lee Wilson on the 29th April 2004..."Just got back from Kalamaki etc." sorry Lee (or whatever your name really is) but I have it on good authority that ISIS, like most places in Kalamaki, does not open until 2nd May 2004 so I am unsure who might of served you or what you had!!!!! Your comments the previous week are also noted along with the one you posted on Point Break. A glowing report for The Lighthouse is rather suspicious as ISIS and Point Break are two of their main competitors!! May I suggest that you are either a close friend / relative or indeed someone closely connected with the running of The Lighthouse. Do you also post under the name of Tom Ryan by the way? Anyway, bet you had a really quiet holiday in Kalamaki with everything being closed! The first flights into Kalamaki are on the 2nd of May. Maybe you are just a little confused with the finer details of where you went as you can't even spell your resort correctly!

Tom R  (29 April 2004)

This site is substandard, you advertise as a Bar, but you act as a cafe, a poor one at that. Are bars allowed to sell substandard food? Be WARNED all who may enter!!

Lee W  (29 April 2004)

Just got back from kalimaki, weather was naff, so we went to this bar to cheer up, came out just as miserable. Not going to recommened to a friend.

Keef & Jan  (15 February 2004)

Looking forward to going back to Kalamaki in June and having one of Richards Omelettes. Jan just can't cook them. Maybe Richard will give her some lessons. Kirsty watch out, I may keep changing my mind again.

Natalie H  (25 October 2003)

Just got back from another fab holiday in Kalamaki. Isis very friendly. For those of you looking, Isis is where you will find Nikki ( from Chaos Bar). You will find her partner in crime Spiros at the Old Greek Shop half way down the main road in Laganas.

Paul H  (08 October 2003)

I was going to submit a long posting singing the praises of Isis Bar but it has all been said in previous posts. Thanks to all at Isis for making our holiday so relaxing and enjoyable. One thing that has not as yet been mentioned is.....dont be put off by the cheapness of the food ie: 'Cant be much good if its that cheap'....It is superb value for money, excellent quality and always served with a smile and in good time. Once agian thank-you. Kind regards, Lynda and Paul Higgins.

Peter S  (03 October 2003)

What can I say! Ate here every morning (brilliant), won the daily raffle 3 times, tried and thoroughly enjoyed there great value snacks and enjoyed a few evening beers / cocktails in the most pleasant of surroundings. Nice quiet bar where you can relax and enjoy great conversation with the hosts, Bob, Kirsty, Richard and Nikki. Perfect place, perfect food, perfect value, perfect people. Cant say anymore than that except good luck to you all....not that you will need it!

Charlie D  (28 September 2003)

Wendy C  (24 September 2003)

we have just got back from our 2 week honeymoon to zante and i was really impressed with the isis bar. my husband and i and our 2 friends had already eaten there and could not fault the food, the service was excellent and we said we would return b4 the end of our trip. however we returned sooner than we thought, i am diabetic see and the next day my sugar levels went down and i was having a hypo attack and needed to eat asap. we ran to isis and kirsty looked at me and knew something was wrong straight away my food was in front of me within two mins flat with hot SWEET tea, you cant fault that. thank you all the staff you were fantastic we will b seeing you again

Stephen P  (31 August 2003)

We spent 2 weeks in Kalamaki and would not eat breakfast anywhere else. The Pukka pie and chips are great and the Mythos on draught cannot be beaten. Richards cooking is top notch, and Kirsty & Bob are the most friendly hosts/people you could wish to meet. This bar is a nice alternative to the noisy surrounding ones. Fine food, fine beer and good company are guaranteed. Thanks to all the staff at Isis for making our holiday a great one. Will be in touch when the photos are developed. Love from Steve, Marian, Steve (The fussy eater) and Sue.

Tracy P  (25 August 2003)

Went here several times on the way back from the beach for a cool beer. Superb greek salads very cheap and loads of it.

Vicki S  (21 August 2003)

Just returned from a week in Kalamaki and we visited Isis on a number of occassions for breakfast, we tried other places but nowhere compared with here, defiantely worth a visit!

Keef & Jan  (04 July 2003)

Very friendly bar. Food is excellent and service great. Lovely place to go and completely relax amongst friendly and efficient staff. Richard, the chef, made a lovely omelette. Kirsty had the patience of a saint and Bob was the perfect host. We will be back there again next year for another of Richards omelettes. It was great to be able to take advantage of their early pick up breakfasts, because the breakfasts are the best and cheapest in Kalamaki.

See you June 17th 2004
