Arkadianos Hotel

Hi, due back at the Arkadianos again next June but Thomas Cook have just informed us that Sunset no longer deal with the apartments and as yet no other tour operators have business with them.We have been offered alternative accommodation in Tsilivi but really would like to stay in our usual place. Does anyone know what tour operator is running the Arkadianos please? Maybe you could helpSam? Love to everyone gerry x

Hi 2 everyone back at arkadianos. only got back thursday and wish we were back there already. we just had yet another great 2 week holiday at arkadianos and plan to come back next year in summer time. I was quite disappointed with Zante to be honest.  My boyfriend and I went during July, and having been to such beautiful islands as Skiathos and Kefalonia, Zante was very average.

It was too touristy and as usual the English people ruined things by being too noisy & inconsiderate.  The walls at the Arkadanios are so thin we were woken up every night about 4 times due to people coming back from the bars, as well as people having showers (we could hear the water running and the boiler making a noise).  Then at 8am we were woken up by kids banging on the walls shouting: "THIS IS YOUR WAKE UP CALL!" .  I like to go on holiday so I can take a rest from work and catch up on my sleep.  I felt unrefreshed and bad tempered every morning due to such a bad night's sleep.

Sam the rep was very impressive, I have no complaints about her whatsoever.  She did her job brilliantly and was the best rep I have come across in a good few years.

3) My boyfriend's luggage got put on the wrong flight and was sent to Bristol instead of Gatwick.  This is because the lady didnt stick a sticker on the suitace even though we pointed it out to her, she just shrugged her shoulders.

And Anne Hutchinson - I think people on here are entitled to their opinions.  As much as you clearly love Zante, I think you should allow other people to express their opinions when they may be negative.  If everyone agreed on the same thing, life would be pretty boring!

Tony, maybe you should do what we are doing, and stay elsewhere, and just visit. Then you have the best of both worlds, visit more often or less often, depending on who's there or not.!!!!

We didn't make it this year - is it worth a punt next year ? - any thoughts from the regulars please

ive been away for the last 3 weeks, doing my head rep training fingers crossed that i have passed. i find out next week. next year with any luck i will be promoted!!!!!!!!!!

.Hi Joanne, you dont know me, but I was a regular at one time.!! Didn't go to Zante this year, went  to Cyprus, for a change. We have booked for next year, but thought we'd have a change and are going to Tsilivi. We will defo go and visit our friends at Ag Sos, (those that still remain)!!! I do still check this site from time to time, at least I have got a reason to again now.!!!Only about 10months to go now.!!!!

I'm so missing having a drink at Breezer Bar  and getting cheek from Eri.  Hopefully return next year with friends from Scotland who we meet last year who love Aghios Sostis just like us.  Hi to Sam (Great Rep) and Eri (Fit Bar man)Love Anne and Family.

Massage for Lucy Wilson i'm not really bothered what you think of me , I would return to Arkadionos every year if i could its a fantastic family holiday which all my family enjoy. The rooms were basic but clean and if you want a quiet holiday go in the early months i have 3 children to and had no problems so sorry if i've affended you but you affended Sam the rep who is lovely and is great with the kids

YO.... Sorry for anyone that was here from the 27th till the 10th of August! i would just like to appoligise for the behaviour of my friends and I. Althogh it probably made the holiday much more entertaining seeing the group of us wasted... if u dont know then it was me, my twin brother and 3 of my mates

Well i dont think we will be allowed back since we got thrown out on the last day and fined 100 Euro but i do recommend it to anyone!

Hello everyone who has the misfortune of being at that splendid Arkadianos joint from the 27th July to 10th August...You will no doubt remember three scottish idiots and two albinos that got wrecked most nights and woke everybody up(we got a scandelous 100 euro fine) I am pretty sure you can look back now and laugh at it even the guy with the monobrow on reception loved it!!

We are planning on coming back for three weeks next year to say hello to our good mate George in Laganas and to destroy our enemy Panos.

I CERTAINLY WOULDNT FEED MY CHILDREN ON ANYTHING FROM THE APARTMENT AS THE CLEANLINESS WASNT UP TO MY STANDARDS AT HOME!! WE WERE OUT IN THE WILD ROSE UNTIL LATE SOMETIMES 1AM SO WE WERE NOT IN BED BY NINE!! YOU SHOULDNT JUDGE OTHER PEOPLE UNLESS YOU KNOW THEM!!   WE DO FEEL THAT 3AM IS A BIT LATE FOR A 9 YEAR OLD TO BE ABLE TO FUNCTION PROPERLY THE FOLLOWING DAY FOR TWO WEEKS!!!

I CAN ASSURE YOU THAT WE WILL NOT BE STAYING AT HOME NEXT YEAR, AND WE WILL CERTAINLY NEVER RETURN TO ARKADIANOS APARTMENTS, I COULDNT SUBJECT MY FAMILY TO THAT AGAIN!!! WE WILL BE GOING SOMEWHERE WHERE MAYBE THE DOORS SHUT PROPERLY, THE ROOF DOESNT HAVE HOLES IN IT AND THE TOILET DOESNT LEAK.  WE DONT MIND PAYING OUT BUT WE DO EXPECT VALUE FOR MONEY!!!!!  

we hated our apartment coz it was so dingey n we had no windows the only one we had opened up onto the reception!!we meet some lovel people out there n the location was amazing n eri n all da waitors at maestro were so brilliant n sxc spesh u demetree n nelli! n by da way didi ur sxc too lol!!i loved it so much i didnt wanna come back today but next year im bak out there i swear that now i loved it! hello to brian sandra kerry n all de ofa peepz we met! all i can say is it was brilliant!

What a load of bull**** that last message . Arkadiaons is a lovely hotel with great staff and Sam the rep is just lovely .  You go on holiday to enjoy yourself not go to bed at 9 pm and not to cook a three course meal!!!!!!!!!!!! We were there in May and did some lovely salads in our room its to hot to cook meals and its great to eat out. I think that next year you and your husband and 3 kids stop at home.

WE HAVE JUST ARRIVED BACK FROM A TWO WEEK HOLIDAY IN ARKADIANOS APARTMENTS, AND ALTHOUGH THE LOCATION OF THE APARTMENTS WERE GREAT THERE WERE A FEW NEGATIVE PARTS TO THE HOLIDAY.  IF YOU ARE PLANNING ON DOING ANY COOKING FORGET IT!! WE WERE IN AN APARTMENT THAT WAS MEANT TO SLEEP SIX ADULTS AND WE HAD A TINY TWO CUP KETTLE, AND A TWO RING HOTPLATE WHICH YOU COULD COOK JACK S**T ON!! THE APARTMENT ITSELF AT HOLES IN THE ROOF AND NONE OF THE DOORS SHUT PROPERLY AND THE TOILET LEAKED WHEN IT WAS FLUSHED!! NOT MUCH FUN WITH THREE CHILDREN!!  HOWEVER WE DIDNT LET THIS DAMPEN OUR SPIRITS AND WE HAD SOME GREAT DAYS OUT AND TRIPS, WHICH WRE NOT BOOKED THROUGH THE REP AS THEY WERE TOO EXPENSIVE.  WHILST ON THE SUBJECT OF THE REP SHE DIDNT REALLY HAVE MUCH TIME FOR OUR FAMILY, MAYBE THAT WAS BECAUSE W DIDNT BOOK ANY TRIPS WITH HER!!

I WOULD LIKE TO END BY SAYING THAT WE DID HAVE A NICE TIME, THESE APARTMENTS ARE OK FOR CRASHING NOT FOR FAMILIES, THE ROOMS WERE NOT PARTICULARLY CLEAN AND NOR WAS THE POOL AT THE THERESA SIDE.  WE WILL NOT BE RETURNING TO THESE APARTMENTS WHICH IS A SHAME BECAUSE SO MANY PEOPLE CLEARLY HAVE HAD A GOOD TIME, PERHAPS THESE WERE THE NOISY PEOPLE KEEPING ME, MY HUSBAND AND THREE CHILDREN UP UNTIL 5AM!!!!

hey  i've just got back from a brilliant 2 weeks at arkadianos appartments! didnt want to come home  but all good things come to an end at some point. met some ace people over there and the weather was great, it was the best holiday in years! if anyone is going over there soon i'm sooo jealous of you! eri the bar man was fantastic although i went to bed most nights soaked through thanks to him throwing me in the pool 

i have a question for sam, i am planning to work abroad for part of the next summer season and was wondering if you could give me any help or ideas on how to get work (not as a rep but working in a bar or something) and accomodation sorted over there before i go? if you could it would be a great help as i'm stuck as to where to go for help. if so, could you contact me on rachelwarrilow@msn.com

helllo to anyone that has been here already this summer or to any future guests.

well i have now been out here 4 months repping here at the arkadianos, and im really missing my home comforts. if any one is coming over in the next 2 months, the biggest thing that will put a smile on my face is BANANA ANGEL DELIGHT. This would make my day.

Please please release me of despaire of being so home sick.

We have just got back and generally it was a great holiday.  The rooms are really good and the cleanliness was excellent, cleaned everyday!! Agios Sostis we felt was lovely, as was the beach and most people were friendly. We hired a car for for a few days to explore the beautiful island but definatly shop around for car hire the prices varied greatly.  The only thing that was not good at all ( lots of guests we spoke to felt the same) was the noise.  People coming in at all times  fighting, swearing,  rearranging furniture, banging doors and this was after 12am, not good with 2 small children and just bloody annoying!  Just bear in mind but generally lovely!!!!!

Hi, yes the arkadianos apartments have internet access.  I cant quite remember how much it was, but it was very reasonable.  There is a small room just off the reception area with a computer.   We got back a week ago and it was absolutey wonderful there!  Have a lovely hol!

Message for Mandy.  You should be able to get a late check out 30 e till about 7pm and 50 e till you leave the hotel but it depends how busy they are, you might be able to stop in a different hotel for a night .  It takes about 30 mins on foot along the beach to walk in to lagana taxis cost about 8 e, you'll have a great time they have a great pool side bar which has a Eri behind the bar who is a great laugh who also loves to get you very drunk i was so ill  on the first night but what the hell you are on holiday

Hi there everyone can anyone tell me if there is a late check out room i am flying out on sunday nite for 14 nites but my check out day is sunday and i don't  fly home till monday morning.   i asked my tour rep but said because it was a last minute deal they could not tell me if there was a late check out room or not.

Oh  and if any1 is going for the first time dont listen to the person saying the cleaing wasnt good because it was, our cleaner was very good and the place was overall really clean!!!

sorry to hear about the boy's burns. i hope that they get better soon.  its just not the same around the pool any more, i haven't been pushed in since all the kids left.(at least my trainers have had a chance to dry out).  The level of service has dropped at the bar as well since my three favourite bar staff have left, got to put up with eri again!!!!!  
 
mrs fighter pilot was on a 3 hour delay and got charged for excess luggage proving that there is justice in this world.

Hi Everyone!! Hope you're all having a good summer. I'm still in sunny Holland (actually for a change it IS actually sunny, not freezing cold)! In fact its too hot to work. Miss my job on the beach in this weather. I'm going to try to get time off work towards end of sept, so may come over for a few days.   For anyone who remembers Mythos, my naughty little pup, he has grown into a big, strong young man now (will try to add pic). Just got back. Had a fabulous time. The Hotel was great, the staff were really helpful and friendly. Eri in the Breezer bar was a star and my three boys were assistant barmen.

P.S. Saw the "milliionaire fighter pilots wife" at the airport, and she was STILL complaining.

Hi Sarah no kids clubs anymore but don't worry kids will have a fab time mine did and they are 3,8 and 10, you lucky thing wish i was going to, never mind next year will soon come round.
