Hi there We are going to kalamaki in august and will be staying at Macedonia apts, I have read a lot of the reviews and we are a bit worried about the comments given about how close to the airport it is, and how noisy it is with the planes going over. I would be grateful for any feedback on this. Cheers chris. Is kalamaki a family resort?
Thanks for the info Dave J! Think I've got an idea where the Macedonia is now, thanks again
ROBBIE GODDEN, THIS PLACE IS RIGHT UNDER THE APPROACH PATH OF THE AIRPORT, IF YOU BEEN TO KALAMAKI BEFORE AS YOU GO UP THE LAGANAS ROAD THIS PLACE IS ON THE LEFT AS THE AIRPORT IS ON THE RIGHT, AS FOR THE BEACH IT IS ABOUT 1/2 MILE OR 0.8 KM FROM IT.
Have been to Kalamaki for many years, but now need somewhere close to the Beach due to older members of family!!! Could anyone tell me exactly where the Macedonia is situated? We have previously stayed in accomodation situated near the Cronulla Bar/Zakanoh restuarant. Many thanks in advance anyone!!
hi tassos this is laura i was the mytravel rep in your hotel but left early. just wanted to see if your ok and if you enjoyed the season hopefully coming back next year for holiday. so will email to arrange accomodation take care mate .xxxx
We have stayed at these apartments for the last two years and have had a great time both years. The apartments are clean and tidy, and there are always sunbeds available around the pool whatever time of day, which is always a bonus. The family that own it are really friendly and very hard working. Kalamaki itself is brilliant for families. Plenty of good restaurants, and a good beach. Can't wait to go back to Macedonia Apartments, see you next year Tassos!

We have just returned to the Macadonia Aparthotel had yet again, another great week. We stayed there for two weeks in Sep 2004 and again for a week Sep 11th - 18th 2005.
We booked direct with Tassos direct and everything was once again spot on. Very clean, good apartment and Tassos and his family very friendly towards us. - Thanks for a great Holiday !!! We will return Andrea and Kevin
6 of us stayed at these apartments 9 sept-16sept 2004 we all enjoyed it very much no complaints Tasos and family all work very hard to make your stay very pleasant rooms are clean and comfortable and nothing appears to be to much trouble for them, all 6 of us enjoyed our stay so much that we are all going back this September
.
We have recently returned from staying at the Macedonia Apartment/Hotel on Sunday 24 July. The hotle has a subheading, " Great Alexander" all that i can say is that this was the only thing that was great about the accommodation. From day one there was a leak into our studio (118) from the sudio above. This was reported to the rep who went to Tasso about it. The response to this problem was apparently that we will deal with it later. This was clearly a health and safety issue, which would seem to be ignored by the owners of this accommodation. I identified the problem and informed the rep, who again spoke to Tasso, who again ignored the problem. What was the problem, I hear you ask? The air conditionong units have a condensor which collects water and should be emptied on a regular basis, if it is not emptied thenm it overflows. Guess where did the overflow go to, yeas thats right apartment 118. It got to the stage where we wouldn't go onto the balcony as it was a hazard. When di the problem stop? When the rep on the second last day went into the room above (218) and emptied the canister. Overall a poor response from the Management of the hotel in regards to the health and safety of guests. Problem 2 a fridge that was poorly maintained, was rusty and was clearly a health and safety hazard. It even had a mind of its' own and was prone to defrosting itself whenever it felt appropriate. Poos hygiene regarding the clearing of bins form the bathroom. I can understand and accept that the rooms and bedding are changed twice a week, but when theree of you are sharing a studio it wiould seem proper to clean the bathroom more than twice a week.
Went here one day for the pool. Nice place. Good bar and it all looked clean.
Hi Tassos!!! I know its a little late but thank you so much for making my holiday so special! Still in contact with a few of the others that were staying at the same time. Hoping to be back real soon!!
I booked a holiday to Zante in Sept 04 and First Choice have advised me today 16/06/05 that my appartment choice has been changed due to an overlook in the brochure. what i would like to know is the location of macedonia Hotel with regards to cavo d'oro Hotel as myself and my wife picked the cavo d'oro due to its central location for our holiday needs ? Thanks in advance
we stayed at the sunset beach apartments in 2002 an we thought it was ace. Really got on with the family that owned it. we where sad to leave the but we really want to go back because we loved it . they were 15 of us that went and not one had a complante about the resorte.

I have looked into booking with these apartments direct for a week in Sep 2005 - if you contact babis1234@hotmail.com he will give you the rates.
We had a great time here in September 2004 - Spent two weeks at the Macadonia/Sunset Beach. Basic but Clean (didnt need anything else), Good Pool/Bar area, excellent location.
Hi to everyone who we met from the 9th - 23rd Sep, a great 2 weeks. Also thanks to our rep Daryl who was excellent !!
Andrea & Kevin
We had an excellent time (28th Sep-4th Oct).Weather was good, quit warm our apartment was big and clean and the barman (Tassos) was very polite and good looking!!! We probably going back next year.xx
How to book and who to book with
We looked at this accomodation in October and wish to book 2005
hiya everyone,
just a quick message to say hello to everyone who knew me at the sunset beach/macadonia and also to wish all my friends and former guests a very merry xmas and happy new year for 2005.
i would also like to take this opportunity to thank all the people who sent the lovely letters to cosmos thanking me for the time and effort and praising me for the service they received while on holiday at the sunset beach and also to the guests who have put the lovely comments on the comments pages on justzante.com
best wishes
Daryle x (cosmos holidays)
this place was brill!
got back yesterday n was best holls ive eva been on !
danny n tassos were gr8 n the only slimely character is the guy who called tassos slimey!they can make brilliant cocktails ( tassos n danny) n work non stop!
pool was nice n clean, rooms were also nice n clean n maids were quiet if u were still asleep n they came in.
We only had a week here allocated on arrival (9th - 16th Sept.) and we were pleasantly
suprised. The rooms are clean and basic (normal for Greece). The only down side is the
aircraft! but you do get used to them quite quickly. The owners and staff (Tassos, Danni
and mama) were fantastic, the pool bar food was excellent and we enjoyed or stay - no
fighting for sun loungers!! Daryll or cosmos rep was fantastic and was always around
unlike other places we've been to where you see the rep at the welcome meeting then on
your way home! We can really recommend these apartments and will return (once the new
airport is finished!!). Nikki & Gary.
Stayed at the macedonia aug.26th-9th sept.
I cannot fault this complex.I read all the latest comments before booking this holiday,My wife and I take lots of holidays every year, and there have been very few that we would return to, this one is a must for next year.yes it's basic but very clean all a self caterer would need. biggy plus for the pool area never had to care what time of day we wanted to bathe, always plenty of sun-beds.I can ownly give this a 10/10 but should be a 11/10 run by a family concern, all very pleasing and ready to accommodate for every need.Following reading one of the letters from a family that only stayed one nightmade me laugh, we did not find anything untowards againstany of the bar staff over a two-week period. only may I add good things,Tassos and danny were a plus for this tightly run complex, whats more they always conducted themselves in all age groups of holidaymakers exemplary. Although if a slight comment could be made it would be in their favour, I surveyed numerous young girls making it openly obvious that they were admiring these young guys from the pool bar, without any reciprication from the guys other than to please them with perhaps an enchore for a good dive or whatever they might have been seeking attentions for.well nearly concluding this review. bar food excellent/staff/cleaners, and not forgetting hard at work Daryll the Cosmos rep.always there cracking a joke or three. My wife bev nods in agreement on the points I have mentioned. well done Macedonia we will be back next year.
My girlfriend and I returned from Kalamaki on the 26th Aug after two fantastic weeks in Kalamaki. Not only did the resort have everything we wanted but the accomodation was really good too.
The rooms are quite basic but spacious and they are kept really clean by the friendly maids with regular towel changes.
This is a family run resort with only 30 apartments so it never seems busy round the pool and sunbeds are always available. The family who run the apartments are really friendly the mum and dad speak little English but try very hard to be polite. Tassos and Mikolos are the main barmen who speak good English and are a good laugh.
We could not find any faults with these apartments and the pool is kept very clean as well as the surrounding area. As mentioned in the brochures there is alot of plane noise as you are very close to the airport, but don't let this put you off staying here as you get used to it after a couple of days.
Being a twenty year old couple we found staying in Kalamaki ideal as it has many bars/clubs and restaurants to suit everybody such as Mermaids and the Olive Tree, there was one restaurant called Zakanoh, which was a little on the expensive side costing me and my girlfriend 51 euros for a two course meal, the food was nice, but not that nice!! If you fancied a more lively night out then Laganas is only a 5 minute taxi ride away and is well worth a visit.
Kalamaki beach is a short walk away and it never seems too busy. We thought the sea was amazing especially as it stayed shallow for ages and was very clear and warm.
We also had a quality Cosmos Rep called Daryle who is based at these apartments and he entertained everybody of all ages, and the organised trips are well worth going on.
Overall we had a great holiday and would definately reccommend both Kalamaki and the Sunset Beach/Macedonia Hotel.

My family and I visited these apartments in July this year and I have to say we had one of the best holidays ever. At first we thought the accomodation was a little basic but as this was our first time in Greece we didn't know what to expect and soon realised that wherever you go in Greece the accomodation is quite basic. The only problem was the noise from the aircraft as they skimmed the roof of the hotel, but you soon get used to it and there are no night flights anyway.
The family who run the hotel are very family and the barman, Tassos speaks excellent English and was an extremely hard worker. The food in Kalamaki is excellent and there are plenty of bars and restaurants to visit.
As the hotel is quite small we made quite a few friends as everybody tends to talk to one another. The two reps here Daryle (cosmos) and Jason (argo) were fantastic. They were really hardworking and kept us entertained for the two weeks. Danny (who owns the car rentals) was also really friendly and always made time to speak to you. We would definitely return to these apartments and had an excellent holiday.
Jayne, Paul, Hannah & Lauren
we got home thursday the 5th august, kalamaki centre is about 1km from this motel and is a gt8 place for family night life, the sunset is a bit of a dive and a bit tacky, the pool barman is the typical slimey guy who you would not leave a female alone with.
we had trouble with water for 5 day's and they were very "nothing to do with me attitude". the pool barman was very arrorgant with a few customers, who express their opinion.
round up great island fantastic local's great food, pity about FAULTY TOWERS motel
Stayed at Sunset Beach/Macadonia this summer (July) for two weeks. The apartments were clean with regular towel and linen changes and the maids are very friendly.
The pool was spotless and there was no fighting for sunbeds (always a bonus)and you would always find Tassos cleaning the pool every night. The pool bar was good with food and drink value for money catering for everyone. Tassos worked hard 24/7 and his cousin Danny was good fun and very polite. Mumma was also very friendly, ok lacked English but how many of us can speak Greek!
As for dave, julie, tomara and toms comments they were a load of rubbish. They seemed to know alot about the place considering they only stayed there for one night!!
Tassos was in no way a threat to any of the young girls.
As for the reps daryl (cosmos) jason (argo) they were brilliant great fun, done an excellent job and made the holiday even better.
As for the aircraft noise that was the only slight problem but then again that is not the accommodations fault and you are informed from the brochure.
Altogether we would like to thank all the staff for a good holiday and would recommend this to all ages.
Alan, Gloria, Hayley
just returned from the sunset beach/macedonia and what a brilliant or should i say a fantastic time we had.
tassos was brilliant if not a little moody at times but what can you say when you work as many hours as he and his family does, the pool bar was cheap and cheerful and the food was delicious and in quite large portions, my kids lived on the macadonia burgers and pizzas the whole time we were there.
the hotel itself is quite near the airport so do expect to hear a lot of noise on thursdays cos that seems to be the main day for the holidaymakers who are either departing or arriving on the island but believe me you more than get used to it after a day or so and it never once spoiled our holidays.
full marks for the cosmos rep daryle and the argo rep jason who were always there making sure that everyone was ok and enjoying themselves, someone on the table next to us in the pool bar referred to them as the chuckle brothers which i think they found quite flattering!!!!!!! so well done guys!!
anyway full marks to everybody and we have all certainly brought back some excellent happy memories which we all will certainly treasure.
heres looking forward to next year.....paul and family
Visited Sunset Beach/Macedonia Hotel 8th July to 16th July. After our initial jaw-droppingly terrifying sight of incoming planes appearing what seemed like 2 foot above the roof of the apartments, we soon slipped into relaxation mode. I don't know how anyone can complain about Tassos and his mum. Tassos spoke brilliant English and as far as I could see was courteous to everyone including the young ladies. I found him very droll and witty. Young girls openly flirted with him and he handled it perfectly. We were without water and power for a couple of hours on one of the days but you have to expect this kind of thing in Greece. Our apartment was spacious and spotlessly clean and although there was rarely anyone on reception, Tassos or mama were soon to be found. Tassos and his family work long hours in incredible heat and I can't imagine being hoteliers is making them very rich so I was impressed and thankful for their dedication. They obviously love their home and are proud of it. I would certainly go back there. I watched Tassos go through his pool cleaning routine every evening and find it hard to believe anyone found it "filthy". I can ,however, imagine that Tassos would not stand to be spoken to in a rude and irate manner and would give as good as he got.
we also stopped at these apartments we arrived late on 24th of june and stopped for a week.I am aware of what was said to a young girl and it was out of order and it was delt wih by mark the cosmos manager, as was the problem with the water,BUT the way it has been spoken about on here it made out that something more than a few words were spoken and this was not the cause. The problem was delt with and there is always two sides to every story. for the rest of the holiday the water was solved and the bar man was as good as gold and very nice to our family and other families we had a wondeerful holiday and we would also return to these apartments. Rooms were cleaned and fresh towels and sheets were also given the main problem we had was the water for a couple of days but after that it was lovely.Yes first flight into zante is 5am in the morning last plane out is 12pm but i ensure you this is not a problem and you are told about it in the brochure. AS for cosmos not using it next year you can still book to go to these apartments with cosmos summer 2005 but it has changed its name to hotel macedonia. The rep that is being referred to Jay was sacked about a week into our holiday because he was un-reliable and a new rep called corey was brought in. I dont doubt that this family had a problem and if it was my family i probably would of asked to be moved as well, but they were not there after the incident and everything was really lovely. Please do not be put of by the bad comment we had a very enjoyable holiday.Kalamaki is georgious the people are really good and friendly.
as i have said in my other comments this place is so bad i have just found out "cosmos are not using it next year" i never mentioned the aircraft noise but to tell the truth they start flying at 5am right over the hotel which is at the end of the runway across the laganas road,
we were mover because of what the son said to my 15 year old daughter, ask jay the rep and mark the area manager of cosmos. I still warn all good parents to be carefull if you have young teen daughters..!
We arrived at these apartments on the 24th of June untill the 8th of July 2004.(this season),we didn't have hot water either for two days and it was a bit of a problem, but it was sorted out as promised and we had red hot water the rest of the holiday. The attitude of the staff was abit abrupt for the first two days because of the problems with the water, but after that we could not fault them at all. They were helpful and very polite. The mother does not speak much english but is very plesant and does try very hard. The pool wasnt a bad size it is how it looks in the brochure, and is very very clean. We spent all day most days around the pool and found it very comfortable. There is a bit of aircraft noise, but none at night and after a couple of days don't even notice them. My room was very big and very clean, we also had clean towels and clean bedding and the cleaners are friendly, the room was swept and mopped every other day.We had a room on ground floor and had no problem it was actually very handy for the pool.we had our young daughter with us and we all enjoyed are holiday very much.As far as there being a problem about taking young girls there i do not believe it for one minute. The son was well behaved and as someone has already said a perfect "gentleman".We would and most certainly go back to these apartments again even after the problem with the water,(these things do happen things do break down).Kalamaki is a lovely friendly place especailly for families and of course you have the night life of laganas just a short taxi ride away. the resturants are really nice and good value for money we tried most of them and found that the mermaids was the worst place we ate! woolworths cafe comes to mind!
colette,mark and kaylee
We arrived on 24.06.04 for 2 weeks. We had no hot water for 2days, but the boiler had broken down, plumbers were called and it was fixed.the room was clean and spacious,we had clean towels and bedding twice a week. The entertainment advirtised was not there. We had a few run in`s with Tassos the owners son for the first couple of days that was mainly over there being no hot water, his attitude was not the best to start with but got better after cosmos stepped in. however he was pleasant and helpfull after this. I would not consider him a
threat to any young girls. As he was a gentleman to all. We had our daughter & granddaughter with us and he was always most correct in his manner and behaviour.
the coments from the family before seem to me as though they were using any excuse to be moved ,because you do get aircraft noise as you are under the flight path but you are told of this when you book. We found it was not a problem as there are not flights at night, after a couple of days you really don`t notice them at all.
we all enjoyed our holiday and Kalamaki is a good resort for family`s.
gina frank and family
all other comments are from before this season.we only stayed at this dump for 1 night,(thursday 24 june 2004 ) never mind the airplane noise..this place and the two members of staff make fault towers look like the hilton,,it's ran by a mother and son team.two people to run a complex like this you can see why it is so poor..there was no one on reception, yet it ment to be 24 hours ( more like 1 hour then you report to the pool bar )no hot water no towels no bedding dirty rooms door that wont lock and doors that lock and would not unlock, the mother speeks no english at all and the son is a creepy p**vert who likes young girls and i mean young girls,if your going and you have any young daughters i advise you to book some where else, i got my family out as soon as i could. the pool was filthy and so tiny,if i had to rate this dump from 1 to 10 it wiuld have to be minus,,dont know what happend to the last people who ran it but now it is called the macadonia and it is the worse place i ever seen, the planes come right over the top of you but that is nothing compared to the way this bump is ran by these two arragant people.
we have put in a complaint to cosmos that is how bad it is.
THE MACEDONIA IS AT THE FAR END OF THE RESORT TOWARDS LAGANAS.THE PLANES GO OVER THE TOP OF THE APARTMENTS WHEN LANDING AND TAKING OFF THAT WAY.THE EARLIEST PLANE WE HAD COME OVER WAS 5.30 AND THE LATEST WAS AROUND MIDNIGHT SO SLEEP DOESNT REALLY GET DISTURBED.THEY ARE KEPT CLEAN EVERY DAY.ALL THOUGH THE BROCHURE SAYS NO POOL AND USE THE NEIGHBOURS THIS IS NO LONGER TRUE AS THE NEIGHBOURS IS NOW PART OF THE SAME COMPLEX.SUNSET CAR HIRE IS NEXT DOOR FOR CHEAP HIRE.AND THE BEACH IS ONLY A COUPLE OF HUNDRED YARDS AWAY WHERE WE WENT SWIMMING WITH IN COMING TURTLES IN THE LATE AFTERNOON.THE POOL AND POOL BAR IS CLEAN AND REASONABLE.WELL IN WALKING DISTANCE TO ALL OF THE TOWN.FOR ANY GOLFERS NEXT DOOR IS A GOLF RANGE.CHECK OUT BEACH BAR AS IS GOOD VALUE.SO IF YOU ARE A GOLF LOVING PLANE SPOTTER YOU WILL LOVE THE MACEDONIA.DONT GET ME WRONG THE APARTMENTS ARE GOOD AND PLANE NUISANCE ISNT THAT BAD AND BEING AWAY FROM THE CROWD IT MAKES FOR A QUITE RELAXING BREAK.
We had a superb holiday here in Sept 03. Lovely breakfasts around the pool. Hire a car and explore this beautiful island.
We visited Sunset Beach Aparthotel in August 2002. Had a great time. Fascinated by the low flying aircraft. Will have to visit Danny and "Bobby" at the new hotel as soon as possible. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.

Iv'e been to kalamaki 3ys running its a great place to holiday and would go back again but not to these apartments.
Stayed at sunset beach sept4th/18th 2003.
The apartments were very basic and provided ave accomadation.
If your staying here request a room thats not on the ground floor or take your wellies cos when it rains all the ground floor apartments flood and beleive me nobody from the complex wants to know.
We have tried most of the restaurants but the best was ristorante italian they make a great pasta.
We visited this complex in June 2002. We had a wonderful time it was ideal for taxis costing between £3-£7 allowing us to visit Lagana and also Zante Town. The beach was beautiful and a five minute walk along a flat road, Zante in general was very good for flat surface roads, no steep hills to tackle. Local people very friendly, very relaxing holiday overall. Kalamaki is very relaxed but with only £3 taxi fare it is easy to travel into Lagana for the nightlife. We ate at the Sunset Beach often as they had a good selection of foods and were very clean and good value for money. Staff very helpful, we will be returning here again.
Stayed 21st Sept 03 - 6th Oct 03. We had an excellent holiday at the Sunset Beach, the apartment was spacious and clean as was the rest of the complex. The staff were brilliant and Danny made you feel like you had known him for years. The pool was spotless and had a good atmosphere. We have never wanted to visit the same place twice but wouldnt hesitate to go back to these apts. Favourite places to eat were Paulos, Mermaids, Escape bar and we were regulars at the Cave bar and the Fire club. Thanks for a fab holiday Babbis and hope to see you again soon.
Sunset Beach Apartments is one of the best I have stayed in on my many visits to Zakynthos, despite the rain! I would recommend this apartment to any one who wants a good apartment with high standards. Great views out to sea. Suitable for all families and couples.
great hotel. nice people. great view of the airport. ace bar man -denis!! nice pool and easy to get to the shops and restaurant. all the best to every one of our friends in kalamaki x x
Stayed at Sunset Beach Apts from 21st Sept 03 to 6th Oct 03. We couldnt fault these apartments at all, everything was kept to a high standard. Staff were great and Babis and his family made you feel very welcome. We have never wanted to visit a place two years running but enjoyed this holiday so much we want to return next year. Great place for families, and the planes didnt bother us at all. Well done Sunset Beach hope to see you all soon xx
Just back from Sunset Beach, our first visit to these apartments, took a couple of days to get used to the planes, but you tend to click off after a while. I was very impressed with the complex. Everyone was helpful and friendly. Debbie in reception helped us no end! Thanks Debbie. The two cleaning ladies made us laugh, they were loads of fun. We will definately go back there in the near future.
A fortnights holiday at the Sunset Beach returning on 11th Sept 2003 The appartments were clean and comfortable and well run,no problems with sunbeds always some available and the pool cleaned each day, a short walk to good resturants and bars although the most lively bars are found in Laganas a short taxi ride away. The Sunset`s pool bar had friendly staff and the food was good and the beer was cold and very enjoyable. The aircraft noise was acceptable during the day and no night flights although now and again there was a couple of dawn flights but this did not spoil our holiday and we will return
AS THE OWNER OF THE HOTEL SUNSET BEACH I'M TRYING TO UNDERSTAND
WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THE PHOTO OF THE AIRCRAFT LANDING AT THE
AIRPORT.IF ANY BODY WANTS TO VIST OUR WEB PAGE WWW.SUNSETBEACH.COM.FREESERVERS.COM.THERE IT WILL FIND ALL INFORMATION ABOUT THE HOTEL AND THE PLANES LANDING AT THE AIRPORT NEAR BY.
WE HAVE NOTHING TO HIDE.THE FLIGHT PATH IS 200 MEETERS TO THE WEST
OF THE HOTEL.I DON'T REALLY UNDERSTAND WHAT SOME PEOPLE ARE TRYING TO PROVE.
THANKS OUR GUESTS FOR ANOTHER GREAT YEAR AND WE WISH YOU ALL
NICE WINTER.
BABIS
SUSNET BEACH
Just posted a picture of a plane coming into land over the Hotel. As for the hotel I can't really comment having never visited. So I have marked it as excellent so as not to drag the ratings down.
Stayed Mid August high 30's,and occasionally reached 40c.
Sunset Beach 400 metres from Sandy beach,100m from nearest supermarket.About 30m from flightpath!!
It was kept clean ,both around pool and in the room.
All the Staff were very friendly and a big thankyou to all.
We hired a Suzuki Jimny from Sunset Rentals for 3 days it was the best deal we saw ,well worth exploring the island further.
If you stay here, try and get the rest of the people in the pool to wave at passing aircraft passengers aswell!!
We also hired a pushchair from Sunset rentals which was very useful when we walked to the restaurants on Main St (with Tiegan 3).
The self catering aspect of the room was very limited.A pan,a frying pan and basic cutlery, but we ate out virtually all the time.
6 coat hangers in the wardrobe so we lived out of a suitcase for the duration(dont we all?).
Toddlers pool safe ,and pool was cleaned daily.
The gents shower "bites" if you wear a metal watch!!As I found out!!
Not earthed!!
Poolbar supplies snacks till 5pm and was generally very good .
In the evening happy hour ends at 10pm,and Danny's cocktails were good!
Plenty of loungers available and all have a parasol next to them.
Not too bad for the infamous " get your towel down first in the morning!"problem!!
Has anyone been to these apartments if so could you please tell me where they are, and what they are like.
we went at the begining of may it was not to bad bit of walk to
kalamaki.
staff were fine although danny didnt know whether he was a d.j or a
barman.great holiday overall
oopsy!! my wmail is : Lil_miz_kinky 15@hotmail.com hehe Email me!
Hey, im going 2 Sunset Beach Aparthotel, wid my m8 on the 21st of August (less than a week!) im so excited, its sounds so good! Were 16, and just wondered if any1 were going the same time as us, or had any tips?? Email me if u have! byez!
I had an absolutely fantastic holiday at sunset beach.Ive been twice now and i love it more every time i go.The island itself is gorgeous but the hotel and its VERY friendly staff made my holiday.I cant wait to go again. Its a family buisness, and it makes the hotel a really relaxed and enjoyable place to stay.lots of love to danny and his family! mwahs.yeah man! xx
This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this complex. The owner, Babis is very friendly, and so is his son Danny, as are all the staff. The apartments are close to the airport, however watching the infrequent arrival and departure of aircraft provides an interesting distraction, particularly for the children. I would recommend these apartments to anyone. I have already booked for next year, as the people of Zakynthos are extremely friendly and make your stay as enjoyable as possible.
To everyone at Sunset beach
Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday. We were made to feel very welcome and were looked after well.We had a brilliant time at the
kareoke night and bar b q .Danny makes the best cocktails. We hope to come back soon.

We have just returned (3rd July 2003) from a two week holiday at Sunset Beach. Although really near airport and planes come in overhead took no notice after the first couple and they do not fly at night. Hello to all the great people we met including Andy (Rotheram) Steve (Brixham)and families.
We spent two great weeks with Caroline, Andy and family and Aiden & Lindsey who all helped to make a good holiday great. Hello to Danny, Babbis and all at sunset beach if you are thinking of going here on holiday they will help to make your stay enjoyable. Must Do- Walk to Lagana take a 1 hour trip Turtle spotting we saw seven fantastic experience. Reccomend Don Amitchi's and the Olive Tree for excellent food.
sunset beach is just off the main rd from kalamaki to laganas,on the left side just past the last supermarket, going towards laganas,(opposite the end of the runway)
Can anyone tell me where the sunset beach apts are positioned in Kalamaki. We stayed at Daisy's last year
I fell in love with the barman Danny he was so hot, he is my ''Greek God''.Babbis was great, him and Danny were very friendly to be around also very helpfull and all their staff. As soon as we got home we wanted to be back there in the blazin hot sun.I made a sign for Danny's tip jar, which earnt him lots of tips on karaoke night, that was really fun.If I had a choice I'd go back there any day.xxxx
great apartments, very clean, literally across the road from the end of the runway, so a must if you like planes, found that there was not cot in our room, nobody wants to take responsability for the babies, had to fight to get a cot and that was only because two of us were in the same situation, everyone who arrived after us had to pay 35 euros for cot hire, and 45 euro deposit, if you have a travel cot take it! they even suggested putting 2 chairs together to make a bed for a 5 mth old baby! other than that the maids excellent, one even told us she loved us,(think it was the tip talking), would stay there again.
Fantastic week in Zakynthos, everything brilliant Danny and Babbis made our First holiday to Greece wonderful. We fully recomend this resort to anyone.
this is the best ever i want yo go again no question John and Danny who run the bar at night are great. Friendly service great food and the surrondings are beautiful

Just returned from a wonderful two week holiday at Sunset Beach apartments. It was our first visit to Zakynthos and we loved it. We hired a jeep to explore the island and for all we discovered some beautiful beaches etc. we all loved Kalamaki the most and will definately return. Disappointed we didn't spot any turtles. Hi! to all at Sunset Beach which we couldn't fault.
we just arive back from the sunset beach apartments on the 02/08/02,the apartments was dood, the staff were ok,but it was to hot.the main road to kalamaki is about 10 mins walk where all restaurants and bars are.the pool was very clean and the rooms where clean on regulur basis, and the staff where very freindly, you must hire a 4x4 jeep ( i can recommend sunset car rentals on the hotels grounds, very good rates, also try pandesia restaurant very good choice.well well worth it.
we are staying here on 6th aug 02 can you advise if there are any fans in rooms or air con because brochure does not say peter townsend peter.97@btinternet.com
My mates and I just returned from the wildest week in Greece ever! Our apartments were outstanding overlooking a beautiful pool! WHich had excellent food and service, the beach was only a 2 minute walk, lots of action all close by and all day long! We highly recommend these apartments.
I just arrived back from holiday, my family and i stayed and these beautiful apartments, we had a great time, the pool bar was open all day long, my husband spent many hours there! The owners and staff were very nice people. The bar staff looked after us very well, the food was very tasty, and over all it was an A+ holiday.
