we just came back from kalamaki and from the sunset beach apartments. My wife and i had a wonderfull time. The staff was very freindly and they make you feel like home. but we cant say that for some of the guests they come on holiday just to make themselves and other guests lifes miserable they look for any reason to complain about. as for being british they make us feel a shame. Guests like them should stay at home. And as far as we know we are looking forward to book aur holiday for next may for the third time. And we are sure that we are gonna have a marvelous time that we had the last time. See you next year.

we arrived to a noise of painful karaoke that lasted until 2:30 am . THe poolbar was very noisey at night and apart from our neighbours and a few others most of the residents were loud.

i have just return thursday from staying at this hotel in kalamaki and i have to say that this is the best holiday i have been on.the hotel apartments were perfect....the rooms were excellent and the staff very friendly who are only willing to help,nice size pool with plenty of sunbeds,3 minute walk fro the beach,plenty of supermarkets within 2 minutes walking distance.brilliant apartments with great facilities,in the evenings the bar is run by john and danny the owners son,who is fantastic at his job and is extremely friendly.i would higher recommend this hotel to anyone who is thinking of visiting zante.keep up the good work.returning next july.

return from kalamaki 8th of july fab time.we stayed at sunset beach aparthotel a really nice place close to the beach.our favourite places to go where pandesia restaurant the people where very nice could do anough for us,we going back next year to kalamaki, and sunset beach.

just return from zante and the sunset beach aparthotel.excellent apartments and stall very friendly,the pool was very nice and clean.a little aircraft noise now and and again, but is not at all obtrusive.the management at the hotel was excellent,(hello danny)and the rooms are very clean and spacious.and you can rent a car right from the hotel since there is a car hire in the complex.all in all, we had a really good holiday.

this place is luxury compared to anywhere else in zante we been to,the people,and the staff are really friendly,the pool is very clean and the pool bar excellent.the owners are superb,(hello danny)and you get very good value for money.a little aircraft noise now and again but is not to bad.and you can also rent a car or a jeep from the hotel since they have car rental in the complex.see you next year.

just got back another two weeks of brilliant holiday at sunset beach apartments,we cannot recommend it highly enough,great rooms,pool, people,laughs,see you again next year!!!!

my family and i stayed at the sunset beach apartments in may of this year.the hotel was very clean and the staff friendly.as it is owned by a family i think it makes the difference.try out the coctails at the pool bar,a good range of coctails and the prices are excellent.would definetly go back.

WE HAVE JUST RETURNED ,ON 24TH JUNE .HAD AGREAT HOLIDAY.WERE ABIT APPREHENSIVE ABOUT THE REPORTS OF LOW APPROACHING AIRCRAFT. BUT WAS NO NEED AS APART FROM THURSDAY AND SUNDAY THEY ARE FEW AND FAR BETWEEN. AND WHEN THEY DO APPEAR, ARE QUITE INTERESTING TO WATCH.(SADO)POOL AND POOLBAR WERE EXCELLANT AS WERE ALL THE STAFF. ALSO JMC REP "VICKI" WAS A BREATH OF FRESH AIR NOT YOUR STEREOTYPICAL HOLIDAY REP. ALL IN ALL WOULD RECCOMEND SUNSET BEACH ,AND WOULDN'T HESITATE IN RETURNING.

Just got back from there and i have to say that i was really impressed.the sataff are very freindly and specialy the maids who clean your room every other day.can't waite to go there again.

Just come back from here,and it was great,althoufh to be honest we had great holiday and probably wouldn't stay there again.The cleanliness is great.

the hotel was very clean and the staff were very helpful,the rooms were cleaned every couple of days with fresh linen.The pool bar was open from 8.30 am until 1.30 or when the last person fell off their stool!!.We had a brilliant holiday and would recommend it to every one.(hi bob if you read this from paul ang and jade from england)

Absolutely FABULOUS Holiday in Sunset beach Apartments at kalamaki in May of this year.hope to go back for our 9th Wedding anniversary on june 20 next year.close to everything but not right in town.very clean.very nice pool.

What can we say about this place.We stayed here for two weeks.It was excellent,very friendly,and above all very clean.fantastic pool,and the pool bar was excellent.Wiil be there next season.

WE STAYED IN KALAMAKI AT THE SUNSET BEACH APARTMENTS IN MAY 2002. ME AND MY FAMILY ALL HAD A FABULOUS TIME. THE STAFF WAS BRILLANT. THE ROOMS WERE KEPT CLEAN AT ALL TIMES. WE WERE VERY HAPPY THAT WE STAYED AT THE SUNSET THE POOL BAR WAS VERY NICE AND KEPT CLEAN ALL THE TIME WE WERE THERE. THE CHILDREN'S WAS EXCELLANT FOR KIDS AND ALSO KEPT CLEAN. What can I say - we have just returned from 2 weeks of glorious sunshine ! The apartments were brilliant. They were cleaned every day and we could not fault any of the holiday at all. The Rep was great and the staff within the hotel could not have been more helpful. Roll on next year when we are definitely going back to Sunset Beach.

We holidayed here last August (2001) It was very noisy and was dominated by a large party from London. There was some fighting and the JMC reps were useless. We are going to Kalamaki again this year but not with JMC or to the Sunset Beach.

Could anyone tell me whether there are lockable safety boxes available at Sunset Beach? I am travelling the end of May and want to know for deciding about currency and travellers cheques. Many Thanks!

We have just booked to stay in the Sunset Beach Aparthotel in May 2002. Would be grateful if anyone can let me have pictures as the brochure only shows a front view of the hotel. Many thanks.

Stayed there in August 2001. Ideal apartments for planespotters and insomniacs.Aircraft start landing from 5am, our next door neighbours thought we were in an earthquake the first morning we were there.Everything else okay just too near runway for relaxing holiday.

Just came back on 16th. Very, Very close to the airport. End of runway was literally across the road from the hotel, approx. 500 meters. Pool bar open until 1.30am or later if required and plays fairly loud music so be prepared to sleep with windows and doors closed to keep noise down. Approx 10 mins walk to beach and 15 mins to centre of resort. Other than that, fairly standard accom although no fan in our room only cleaned 3 times in two weeks with same no. of towel and linnen changes.

My boyfriend and I are staying here in less than 3 weeks and as others have said the JMC brochure only has one small picture is the place clean and in a good location?!!

dave yes the rooms do have fans and the aparthotel is only 200 mts down the road to the beach,dave you are the right side of kalamki for beach and town.So nice we have just come back & we have booked up for next august.peter2@btinternet.com

We will be traveling back to Zakynthos for the sixth time late in August. This year we have planned to stay at the Sunset Beach Apartments.
